Thanks, have stayed in several, with 3 times in Amarillo Texas. These are our go to one night stop destinations and convenience is the key word. But all that we have stayed in have been “gated” and Love’s sends you a code the day before by email. These also all had electric and water, but no sewer and ALL were great. Also, if you use their app when you buy gas, they reduce the per gallon cost by 10 cents (as of this date 10/12/24 but have been doing that for at least a year). We love them for a one nighter.
This is a great idea. We moved to Tennessee few years ago. We planned a trip back to Pa Poconos to stay at Promisedland state park a week and visit friends and family. Leaving on Saturday i could not find an open campground to stay halfway in Ohio or Indiana to stay overnight anywhere unless I booked Fri and Saturday no state parks offer 1 night weekends or private campgrounds . I could not believe how times have changed. We been RVing for 30 years. I recently saw Loves adding RV spots. I happened to find one on rt 80 past Pittsburgh. I actually reserved spot. This is all we need a spot to sleep safely fill up and leave. This is perfect. We are also planning a trip in April from Nashville area to Grand canyon. We just need two nights for overnights well I looked for loves. Well on rt 40 400 miles from home a site for the night Loves RV stop 40 bucks with tax. Next night Loves Rv Travel stop Amarillo, Texas 500 miles away on 40 too We go to Fla in Feb I have to shell out 75 bucks for a do nothing RV park on 65 Alabama just for the night So for overnight stops for long travel days Loves RV are perfect. BTW growing up in Jersey/Pa moving to Tennessee was best place to retire. People are so nice you heard correct. Look in Whitehouse area if you guys are considering TN. Pension friendly state too low taxes happy life. Plus our adult kids all moved here 1 st we just followed them.
We stayed at Loves RV Stop in McPherson Kansas. Full hookups, fenced area away from the truck stop, storm shelter, private showers and laundry. Great for a quick overnight.
I've used LOVE's for a free overnight in their parking lot for years. Now I wonder if the free overnight in their parking lot will be prohibited if they have an RV park.
I use the one east of OKC when I go visit my aunt...40.00 a night. CLEAN, full hook ups free wifi which was plenty powerful , CLEAN. There is a decent distance from the fuel island so not so much noise from trucks. This is less than a mile from I40 so This works well for me as my aunts driveway is not conducive for my motor home...and as you guys mentioned the staff is very friendly and I do feel safe when I am there plus I feel ok about being away from my motor when I leave it...oh and did I mention it was CLEAN!!?? I know I have said that a few times but man there are REAL scary dirty truck stops/campgrounds etc. and cleanliness is important. It shows pride in their services.
I have always liked LOVE'S because they are not only for truckers and RVers and are located almost all over the country and open 24/7. Although, the food court restaurants usually close late night. But you can always get food and rest.
I just signed up for the app and have a reservation. Traveling from Ca. to Tenn to visit Great Smokey Mountain NP and drive the Blue Ridge Parkway. They are super convenient and even offer a senior discount 👍
Over the last 2 years, we have stayed at 1 twice and a second once. The one that we stayed at once, totally caught us by surprise. That one was three slots, snug but not tight, a full timer in a travel trailer lived there temporarily, we think. The other location, in Cordell, GA was FANTASTIC! For a 1 or 2 night stay, it was totally appropriate. Power, water, and sewer. If you travel, need to rest, stop and you will appreciate them too.
Love your vids! We moved from New Jersey just because of what you said ! The south and surrounding areas are full of hospitality, nice people and willing to help! Don’t forget this is the Bible Belt. I can assure you that if you move from New Jersey you will not be disappointed! God bless and stay well !
Thanks again for y'alls very informative and helpful videos....I know there is a lot that goes into making them and I for one do appreciate it. Yes, "Y'all" should move down here to the South....and even better if you move here to Tennessee.... :) Well...see y'all on the road!
When traveling by car we used always pulled into a loves truck stop to grab something to eat and grab a few snacks. Glad you like Tennessee. My sister and her husband live there. He was born there and then after the war he moved to Michigan and then retired in Tennessee. They love it there. It’s a nice state. Thank you for the review of the Loves. Not bad for what you get for one night or so.
I have stayed at four different ones traveling from MO.--to Florida. They we awesome..Pass code to get in and go to your spot, get supplies and fuel in the morning, and you are off! Thanks for the video as always.
Good video! Yes, my wife and I and 2 dogs stayed at a Love's RV Stop in Holly Springs, Mississippi on our way from Florida to Arkansas for the solar eclipse. Price was the same, right around $40 and well worth it. There were only 6 RV spots that offered power and water plus the dump station was right there on the way out. All the RV spaces were booked during our stay. We had no trouble sleeping, any road noise was insignificant for us at least. Checked in online with my iPhone. Easy in-out, plenty of space. I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for a safe, convenient, quick in and out stop.
We have stayed in numerous rest stops/truck stops and campsites for quick overnights while on long travel days.. these new Love's RV travel stops are the best. We stayed in the Brigham City Loves near Salt Lake City and it was very convenient. We arrived after dark, and the emailed instructions and gate code worked perfectly. The sites were "nearly level" which made for a quick and quite setup (5th wheel), and the comfort of knowing we were in a safe and seemingly secure area made for a restful sleep - unlike many of the highway rest stops we've used over the years. We will definitely continue to use them.
Our niece lives about 10 minutes from there. When we visited her a couple of years ago on our way from CA to FL, we had trouble finding an RV spot nearby. So, thanks for this review as it may come in handy in the future.
I worked driving a data collection car for about 5 - 6 months across the US during c*vid, from Missouri to California, and every Love's❤ I stopped at was super clean and friendly. ❤❤❤
Just stayed at a Ohio rest area on the OH turnpike $20 for a one night only and they have a dump station and water included for that price. It’s noisy with traffic coming and going but doable. I am sure loves will expand their RV locations but even the toll roads are starting to cater to the RV crowd.
We think it's a great idea, thanks to Loves for offering these RV spots for us RV'ers . We have the discount fuel card so we always buy fuel. Thank you LOVE'S
We stayed at one in Salina Utah, so nice Some of the sites even had personal dog pens. Full hookups We were on way to Moab. It was the perfect spot for a quick overnight.
We have stayed in two Love's RV sites. They both were conveniently located off the interstate. For a one night stay and timing with fuel up, they are a good choice. The first one we stayed was in Prescott, AR with full hook-ups. The problem was pretty significant slope....and it was brand new. They should have leveled sites and build a retaining wall at the back of the sites. It was clean and everything worked. That being said we are planning on staying there again on our way up to Michigan in a few weeks, so not all bad. The second one was in Steele, AL with full hook-ups. Very nice brand new park. Major negative was the ground prep prior to lay gravel perimeter road. Our 45' Class A was creating ruts in the gravel, and if there had been a significant rain.....there is no way could have gotten out. However, the pads were concrete. It's an easy, but expensive fix. Safe travels.
We took our toy hauler to MORryde back in February from our home in NC. We stayed at the Loves RV Stop in Lancaster, Ohio on the way to Elkhart and then on the way home. It was a perfect overnighter stop for about $40.
You have such a great channel and have a video everyday…I don’t understand why you don’t have like a million subscribers? I don’t get it. You’re very informative and fun…no drama. Love it! 👍
I've stayed at 8 different RV Stops. Really liked them. Just have to pick the spot furthest from the road. I travel with a dog and the RV next to me had two large dogs which I knew would set my dog off. Went into Love's and they were happy to switch me to another spot. Since they were just overnight stops I was fine with the wifi speed. They have senior, military and other discounts.
I have stayed in free Loves Truck Stops…it had no hookups but since all the trucks are running when parked, I ran my generator. Bathrooms are clean and breakfast will do for rest stops.
We stayed at one in Amarillo Texas just off I 40. The RV area was completely fenced off from the rest of the parking areas. You needed a code to get thru the gate and go in. They had drive thru and back in spots. Many amenities like you said and about 40 bucks a night. The RV area actual looked much nicer with full hookups and more secure than the one you stayed at.
Two years ago I did a structural inspection of the sign at a Love's in Cordes Junction Arizona so I had yo go to the top to check bolted and welded connections
We have 3 of these planned on our way to South Dakota. If they only have electric hookups, did you notice if there is potable water somewhere on site to add to our freshwater tank?
Here is a valid question for you guys regarding Loves. Do they allow overnight camping with propane, powered appliances, etc. like a furnace or a refrigerator just wondering? Thomyt
Love Loves stayed at one in Ohio exit 12 off of 90 clean ,fuel price was great Diesel for us easy on and off we stayed there twice coming and going to Newmar for service work👍👍👍
I'm so happy these are opening up all over and hope that East Coast gets more soon! I've stayed at Lancaster, OH, Horse Cave, KY, Auburndale (FL)... and the VERY nicest one in Cordele, GA! (it's gated, has its own separate dog park, pickleball courts, picnic tables and pull thru's). Most usually have full hookups and nearly all Love's have dog parks! Love booking online, as I frequently drive at night & I can pull in anytime. FL was the only one I ran into that seemed to have 'residents.' Wifi is always included but a couple I couldn't even connect to. Hoping that's just because they were new and that gets fixed. Thx for the review & yes, head south for friendlier folks!😉 #endlessrving
I haven't been to one, but had heard of them. Good option, especially if available in the North East. Maybe this will be enough differentiation to keep RVers out of the truckers' spots.
Hello Guys, I enjoy your videos. We just stayed at the Love's RV travel stop exit 174, 509 Steele Station Road off Hwy. I 59 in Alabama. We booked our stay based on your review. Wife booked the overnight stay week in advance. Caution, the 20% discount was not honored. After several attempts the booking site kept telling us your code was not valid. Our overnight stay was good but the tar and gravel driveway was in desperate need of repair. There were many soft areas in the gravel with huge holes where RV's and motorhomes sunk making it very frustrating and slow maneuvering around.
The new locations are nice and clean and convenient because they are: new… they are nice to stay at only because you are not on the big truck side in between loud running trucks…. Like everything else the clean goes away and the spots will look like the others!!
The RV space with partial hookups are convenient but every one I have seen out west has what appears to have at least one long term "resident". Given where these types of RV spots in your video are located, its unsightly to everyone else. The full campgrounds are enclosed and separate from the travel stop business, but much more money.
Welcome to the south! Yes, people are a lot more friendly here, and I am originally from NYC. You will get used to it and will eventually get a hybrid twang in your accent!
My issue is I'm 45 ft long and tow a trailer so I look for pull-thrus and these places don't have them. I don't want to have to drop the trailer, never a good idea at a truck stop. The overnight place off I-44 South of St. Lois is all pull-thrus but that's all that is there, at least when we were there. It's also self-serve and fully automated.
My only complaint about Loves gas stations here in Georgia and Florida is that there big diesel pumps don’t accept regular debit/credit cards. So you have to go in and pay.
I would climb it in a heartbeat!!! My hubby however says hell no way!!! Oddly enough in our travels, we have not came across an RV Love's yet. However, we have stayed and got some sleep in the free parking area with the 18 wheeler rigs. I don't like going in the camper and sleep when we do that though because you just never know what might come up on you enclosed in a camper and you can't see outside. We sleep in the truck. We get enough sleep for the time and move on down the road. We have never had any issues though. I don't know if I would feel comfortable sleeping in the camper even in an enclosed area like some of the RV Love's I have heard about. I know all of the Love's we have stopped at have been very clean and very good about keeping people moving on down the road. Working in the field of nursing that I work in, which is closely related to the kind of work you do, I just don't think I would feel comfortable.
Nice truck stop and hell no thank you about climbing that ladder😂. What a hectic week you guys are having, and the content keeps coming. You are awesome. Safe travels👍🏾❤️🙏🏾
We've stayed at LovesRV Stops at several different locations, all of which had full hookups. The one in Dyersburg, Tennessee was just a couple of out of the way spots in the main parking lot that looked like it was put in as an after thought but was still pretty decent for a quick stop. The ones in Vian, Oklahoma and Muscle Shoals, Alabama, on the other hand, were isolated from all the traffic and were really nice with a lot more amenities than you would think. Pretty hard to beat for a quick overnight stop.
You forgot to mention the Love's App. It is free and it gets you 10 cents off on gas. We just did a 6000 mile trip and used Love's gas almost exclusively. Never camped at one because we like Harvest Hosts/Boondockers Welcome. TN is a great retirement state! In their constitution to never have state income tax! No personal property tax. Fairly high sales tax, but I like that because everyone pays according to what you buy, or don't buy.
Great review of Loves. We stay at them fairly often when on the road. It's just easy in and out. 👍 Tennessee, huh? You're good. As long as you're straight and white, preferably religious, it's safe. Anyone else needs to beware. 😂
Saw one in I believe it was Wyoming. It was at the front of the property and nowhere close to level. There were four, or five spots. A dog area was present. I believe it had full hookups and was around fifty bucks. It struck me as a desperation spot. I do better at a Rest Area, or Walmart. As we travel primarily in the summer the noise of the generator covers outside noise. Yep, not being from NJ, I am pretty intolerant of rudeness, poor service and have no qualms about expressing dissatisfaction. Businesses compete for dollars. Overall, my experience at Love’s Stops is that employees do make an effort to keep things cleaned and stocked. Just retaining employees has become challenging for employers in many parts of the country. Love’s saw a need and gambled the investment. I see new locations with camp spots being much of an improvement with planning from the start as opposed to as an afterthought. Either the Business Model will work, or it will not. Good review thanks.
No truck stop overnights yet. I am curious about internet speeds, would you comment about what a great and poor internet speeds is when you talk about it. Thanks ERV for fun informative videos.
We overnighted at a Love's RV in West Point, GA. Great experience . Only 4 sites but full hookups, dog park, RV sites set apart from semi parking and $42.50 as well (mid May). Will do it again!
That’s the way people in the south are, friendly. That’s why I live in the heart of Dixie, Alabama. I have traveled a lot and people north of the Mason Dixon line can be a bit testy. But I am not judging anyone.
Looks like you are spot on between the lines (of course LOL) but your slides look like they extend right out to the line (maybe just the angle of the view??) seems like if you had a neighbor with slides out there would only be INCHES between the slides.
After filling my 55 gal tank, you then expect me to spend more money for RV spot??? I don't think so!!!! Where is you common sense and backbone??? If this is the case.. TOTAL boycott!!!
If your a Trucker. This is a stupid idea. There is not enough parking space for truckers. Now you turn that space for RVs. Not a good idea for the people who work for a living.
Or maybe you just opened your business up to millions of new customers. Love’s has been around a long time and that does not happen if you don’t know how to run a business.

Thanks 👍
Stayed at loves rv spot in Mississippi last year, wasn’t towing our car so we had plenty of room, they was backin spots but just fine.
If in Abilene Kansas stop at 24/7 nice campground
We've stayed at LovesRV Stops at several different locations, all of which had full hookups. The one in Dyersburg, Tennessee was just a couple of out of the way spots in the main parking lot that looked like it was put in as an after thought but was still pretty decent for a quick stop. The ones in Vian, Oklahoma and Muscle Shoals, Alabama, on the other hand, were isolated from all the traffic and were really nice with a lot more amenities than you would think. Pretty hard to beat for a quick overnight stop.
Thanks for sharing!
That Loves is only 10 miles from our home!! Welcome to Greene county!
Love, love TN. You need to get out of NJ even though your home when retire. We need to ck out that Love's. Thx for the review.
Thanks for watching.
Wave as you go by exit 57A on 81 as you return to NJ!!!!! If you decide Northeast TN is your retirement area let me know!!!!
👋
We sleep better in our 5er with the Brooklyn Bedding mattress than in our home😝
Agree
You forgot to mention the Love's App. It is free and it gets you 10 cents off on gas. We just did a 6000 mile trip and used Love's gas almost exclusively. Never camped at one because we like Harvest Hosts/Boondockers Welcome. TN is a great retirement state! In their constitution to never have state income tax! No personal property tax. Fairly high sales tax, but I like that because everyone pays according to what you buy, or don't buy.
Looks like those spaces might be a little too close if the rig next to you has it’s slides out too.
I wish Loves would put some locations, at least, along I95 in CT. Just getting gas for your motorhome is an adventure.
I hear ya!
Check out Tifton Overnight RV in Tifton, GA. Full hookups and lots of pull thru.
Lived on the east coast for two years. Not again if I can help it. Everything is a fight.
Great review of Loves. We stay at them fairly often when on the road. It's just easy in and out. 👍
Tennessee, huh? You're good. As long as you're straight and white, preferably religious, it's safe. Anyone else needs to beware. 😂
That doesn't really make sense, but thanks for watching.
Would it b safe to disconnect and go in town to eat or shop would rv b there when we get back we use a tire lock and ball hitch lock
Thanks for your thoughts. :)
Thank you. 👋🙂. 🌈
Thanks for watching. :)
Thanks for sharing!
The pleasant attitude of the staff probably has more to do with where you are (Tennessee) than with it being a Love’s.
That’s the way people in the south are, friendly. That’s why I live in the heart of Dixie, Alabama. I have traveled a lot and people north of the Mason Dixon line can be a bit testy. But I am not judging anyone.
Yes, it is very different down south. We look forward to that. :)
noisy? Sorry you have to live in NJ (haha), Southern's are friendly, we live in SC and love it.
Where did you have to park you Mustang?
Parking lot
Looks like you are spot on between the lines (of course LOL) but your slides look like they extend right out to the line (maybe just the angle of the view??) seems like if you had a neighbor with slides out there would only be INCHES between the slides.
Yes slides would be very close.
In the gloves before they didn't have for night parking but you could stay overnight
Have you watched the movie Fall?
No, but I looked it up after you left this comment. Yea, no thanks. 😂
👍
❤❤
We’ve seen a few of these on our travels but we haven’t stayed at any
They are really convenient
My grandson line men he would climb it
PIA to unhook your toad just for an overnight stay. Rather do a Wallmart or Harvest Host.
👍👍
❤❤❤😊😊😊
no climbing
After filling my 55 gal tank, you then expect me to spend more money for RV spot??? I don't think so!!!! Where is you common sense and backbone???
If this is the case.. TOTAL boycott!!!
Thank you. Opens up a spot for someone else.
@@EndlessRVingexactly, greed is the name of the game.
As an OTR driver, I completely agree with you that's why I don't stay at Love's anymore. Stay safe out there driver!
The spaces are nowhere near the truckers.
