It s the correct way to prepare the dindigul briyani.. In dindigul, we add equal amount of oil and ghee which ll give the exact taste.. we also fry mint, coriander leaves, onion in the oil.. pepper will help to give the exact black color to the briyani..
For everyone who asking about quantity, for biriyani 1:1 ratio works..1 kg mutton for 1 kg seeraga samba rice.. About water, u have to add 1 and half cup water for 1 cup rice.. Including mutton stock..

But the thing was it's not the biryani which was providing the taste, it was the side dish, the brinjal recipe with that biryani which created the mouth watering taste of it. Definitely mutton wont absorb salt. Better add little bit salt while boiling. Dont add too much.

madam when i put masala powder it becomes sticky later when i add mutton and its water it clears why it becomes sticky
