Man Michael and Ted deserves to be a well known iconic duo just like say Finn and Jake, Mordecai and Rigby, Sonic and Tails, Mario and Luigi, Goku and Vegeta, and Batman and Superman
Blue Beetle and Booster Gold have been my favourite duo for a while, despite how little known they are. When I found out about the fact they were injustice, I looked into it, and damn, did their deaths make me sad in a good way. I think the fact their endings tie in together, both seeing each other in their final moments is such an interesting move, but a really good one.
It's wild how inside Batman's books he's basically everyone's best dad but other writers feel insecure and turn him into a psychopath loner who doesn't run fifteen superhero teams and have eight kids he adopted 😂
To be fair Injustice was the universe where the authors asked "What if everybody was fucked up? Not like Injustice Gang, but like they were recognizably the same character, but fucked up." Off the top of my head Superman's a traumatized dictator with a savior complex, Wonder Woman's a warmongering authoritarian, Batman's a moderately functional sociopath, Harley Quinn's a reformed hero, and Lex Luthor was always a good guy.
Booster and Ted are just... incredible. I hunger for the day we will see a true, fateful depiction of this amazing friendship. In the mean time, for those that want to see Booster being done justice, his heroic and doofus side alike... watch Justice League Action, unfortunately and undeservedly short-lived but incredible little series that has many "second string" heroes, and main ones too, and does justice to each. There is a little arc with Booster that encapsulates everything about this character in the most awesome way possible... and there is a lot of Plas moments too.
I'm a long time Booster and Beetle fan since the JLI days. They're like brothers and although the world doesn't take them seriously they know they're heroes doing the best they can. You did a remarkable job with this video. It really was a heartfelt/heartbreaking moment in Injustice.
I’m gonna be honest Booster Gold was always one of my favorite dc heros and this story from the injustice universe solidifies him in my top 3 which to be honest again the margins are slim there. I love how injustice showed how he and Ted aren’t just comic relief and they can have actual emotional stories connected to them.
“He was mine,” is a super powerful line. I almost can’t believe it came from Booster Gold. I’ve always really liked him as a super hero but I can’t believe that line came from him
@@BlueBeetle1939 it's like making a flash movie and making bart the flash and having wally and Barry just "off somewhere" just kill the guy instead of writing him out
@@Hingusbingus4 but he has the perfect reason to be off somewhere it's that his best friend booster gold needs help with wacky time shenanigans. Especially cause he has a totally different skill set than Jaime or Dan I don't see any reason to ever permanently take him out for good again
Jaime has been my favorite superhero ever since I learned about him back on Batman: he Brave and the Bold, and that led me to loving him more as I found his original series. And that led to me coming to love so many other heroes like Ted, Dan, and Booster Gold. Seeing all these bonds form across years, a sense of legacy forming, really gives them all heart to root for. Even in the worst of times like Ted's death, you can still see the best come out of it through those they love.
Booster gold, mirage and usopp. 3 characters who have 1 thing in common, they stand beside giant feelings like they aren't anyone special, always failing to see that they too are one. And that's why I love them.
Thank you Leo!!! This was an amazing video 🎉 I love Blue & Gold ❤ They’ve always been my favorite duo in the comics and the tragedy of their friendship was something I empathized with on a much greater level than I care to admit. The tagline on Booster’s 2007 series sums up his character the best, because for most people, he still is “The greatest hero you’ve never heard of!” 😂
Beautiful vid as always! Although, I would like to add, I hope your piggie has a roommate, they are social animals and this double the cost saves them bills to the vet and an early death
I think a video on Injustice Superboy would be cool. I always liked how he is encouraged by the Kents to make people trust the "S" again. That or including him in a video on the Teen Titans of the Injustice universe
Honestly I had no idea who these guys were before Injustice. I will say though the injustice comics plus further research made me really like Ted & Booster's friendship
I’ve loved Booster and Ted for ages. Those two are great on their own and better together. It’s a bummer anything newer with them is just a flash in the pan under specific conditions
I think this may be your most beautiful video yet, I know this is an overused phrase but Booster gold may be literally me, out of any hero or character in DC I have always identified with him the most, Batman isn’t relatable, Superman is an alien, Booster gold is really just a person when you take away his powers, and has lived a regular human life prior to being a superhero
I think it's so interesting that they kept their friendship as a platonic straight one even in our modern times where it would make so much sense to have them be homosexual. Somehow I think that solidifies their bond so much more, that it isn't romantic but they are true friends just because they are good friends.

Batman is also a psychopath loner in his own books pretty often too. That's like his current arc right now.
He can be a pretty crappy dad in his own books too

They're a great duo. This was always one of my favorite threads from Injustice.
Booster and beetle are as much of a dynamic duo as batman and robin . A true bromance and one of the best in all of comicdom
And here comes the water works.
Title of video is 'good-bye teddy'
"Oh, it's one of those 'I know for a fact I'm gonna cry my eyes out before I even press play' types."
I always liked Booster Golds original comic run, you going over it just made me appreciate it even more.
they make me so emotional,,,, like their story is so special,,, thanks for this video :’)
This script made me cry, and got me to check back in a friend right when they needed someone to listen. So thank you for this
