Did you use Mcgaughys 34061 or 34062 drop cups? 34062 states its for magneride but most sites show it only fitting 07-14. Want to drop my Sierra Denali 1" in the front to give me a slight rake with my 3.5" drop in the rear while retaining factory magneride. Tried 1" drop springs but they didn't fit the lower perch correctly so I'm looking at other options. Being that 15-20 Yukon & 14-18 Sierra magneride shocks are the same this seems like a viable option for me. Just don't want to end up with more stuff that doesnt work.
Hi Sr. sorry by my English I have a question. I bought the drop cups with spacers, I drop like 2" but a that Point the Outer Tie Rod is not horizontal like the chevy comes as factory o maybe a little down inclination, now after I drop it, has some up inclination , so when you get a bump in the road in only one side, the outer tie rod pull too much towards in the wheel in and it becomes inestable the car, I feel the car shake in the front a some inestability I guess if you drop more the car is going to be worse, I don't if this is you car and if you has feel something like that , is there any way with some spindles keep the Outer Tie Rod at least horizontal, what is your opinion?
Hey whats up bro i love your videos of droping cars And i have question i bought a tahoe 2023 And i like to drop do you have any ideo how could it be done it hast the shock i think they call magnetic shocks Any help i will appreciate
today i lowered my gmc yukon with a 3/4 lowering kit but i have 24” wheels the tire is 305/35/24 my question is do i have to buy the springs to go up one inch in front?
@@TWAMotorsports The truth is, I took it where they do this type of work, but my tire is scraping the fender when I step on the brake and when I take a turn, there is about 1/2 inch between the tire and the fender.
@@TWAMotorsports is 2008 gmc yukon denali awd with 3” front and 4” rear lowering kit they changed the center of the front struts the two sprindles in the front and the springs in the back
Are getting any rubbing on the front? Ive got the same drop with stock 22's and at full lock it rubs the liner just a lil bit. Ive been wanting to go a little lower but dont wanna rub too much.
My wifes 16 Yukon Denali is lowered the same amount as yours. It rides like crap unless we have a load in the rear and the shocks are aired up. How does yours ride unloaded? Does it ride close to stock and if so what rear springs are you running?
I agree, my '09 Escalade rides like shit in the rear and I'm using the Belltech 4" lowering spring, notched frame and a beefier shock. I love the look but unsatisfied with the handling! What shock would you recommend cause I'm not using air ride?
Like your set up I had to check and see when this video was made. I’m 60 and I lower my 2016 Ram with a 2”Fr and 4” in back nothing extreme just a regular drop kit. Its been drop for about 4 years now. I just feel people wasn’t doing drops no more. Just jacking trucks up. I have always feel and love the stance and profile of a truck or car looks lower. Just thought I was getting to old riding my lower truck. But your GMC looks tight especially your truck I like those wheels MAN!!!!
Hey travis on the mirror question i meant if you could make a video on how to upfit a truck that doesn’t come with turn signals on the mirrors… like a base model how to add the mirrors that close and everything electrically … the ones that come on the escaldes and fully loaded nbs sierras and silverados…. Great video btw!!!
Sorry it was written poorly I was half asleep. Had a Escalade that came from another shop road rough with new strut replacement. One side the wire were swapped causing it. Can’t remember the data but it will be high on scan tool
Hey we just saw you at the cenex in Kansas we came and said hi in the bullitt and u we’re pulling a Lamborghini just wanted to say hi we like what your doing
Great video. You mentioned that one of the struts had 2 washers and the other side was missing them... maybe it's just supposed to be one on each side and the dealer installed them both on one 🤔
Good video man! I have an 2016 SLT and I’m looking to lower it and I really like the way your Denali is sitting 👍🏽 honest question. I live in Colorado and deal with snow, how does it ride in snow being that low? Does it have any affect on the 4x4? And lastly do your wheels rub on the inside wells? Just curious to know all that before I do it to mine! Please let me know and thanks for the great video man! Love your videos 💯
@TWA Motorsports Love it man… need to be in better lighting on the reveals its always shaded in front of the old garage.. Love that you did this on the 4th. Your one of the reasons I bought my 2013 Tahoe LTZ and it’s 4wd and I want to lower it so bad but the weather here in Massatwoshit is not good yet for me to work on it. I will be making a video of my Tahoe soon on my channel. Thanks for all the videos you have made that have helped so many!!
Just bought a 2015 Tahoe 2wd and between this truck and your white one it has given me a lot of design ideas. Looks great!
Thank you
Please could you give me the link where can I buy the drop cups, the one you put it is not right, please. Good video.
Fixed
@@TWAMotorsports but this doesn't come with the spacers that you show, this spacer are very helpful to graduate the high that you want.
The Mcgaughys ones do come with spacers
If you did do a video on the brake system update, would you consider the 2019+ 4 piston upgrade as a how-to?
I doubt I will get that indepth on it but who knows
Looks great. Another impressive job. I'm like you, like the lowered look better than lifted.
Thank you. I love the new look
Like the drop can u get a 4 inch drop in the back without a c notch
Yeah but will not ride great
@TWAMotorsports ok will do c notch and flip kit I just want a 3/4 drop
@nathanjones9184 thes don't get c notched or flip kits

Used the ones listed in video description
This video says 34061 but your previous video where you installed the drop knuckles says 34062.
If you have magride 34062 if not 34061

Never had that problem
How does it ride with the additional drop? Good and informative video!
Just like before actually.
Are you saying that it doesn’t have the lowered bounce feel? Your saying it really feeling like the factor ride?!? Thanks
Maybe a small amount harsher but not like a potato truck
It sits perfect now. What you think of DJM drop control arms for that particular vehicle
Thank you. I would never use them.

Not sure actually

Yes with relocation brackets in the rear

Great video, looks awesome! Did you not have to trim the bumpstop at all? Being lower on the strut, I would think you had to take off an inch.
I didn't actually
In a prior video I believe
In the rear
How can I by pass auto ride on my 2010 Denali? Tryna a 3/5 drop on mines
They make a bypass harness link in my black tahoe drop video

I haven't done that actually. Maybe someday
Hows the ride quality compared to stock
A little harsher
Too harsh for a female. I plan to lower my wife’s denali soon. She’s prepared and aware of some change in the ride
Not at all. It's my wife's daily
the wire go a specific way. If installed incorrectly it will ride really stiff.

needs the Tahoe PPV front lip now, it'd make the front end look really nice and would give you a couple inches of clearance for steeper driveways
