Yes, her pronunciation on much of the French names was incorrect but that does not take away from the information provided. These foreign/international brands were reasonably priced in the eras before the 1990's. They were not the stuffy snob items they are today. I suppose the hip hop movement of the 90's to present didn't help it any. Most real leather goods are from the same type of cows, pigs, goats & sheep etc... That they've always come from. It's just the methods they use. It's all about better, best, bestest(not real word). I too have lots of luxury goods, European... Most purchased in the 80's & 90's. Only a few items in recent years. I too can make better use of my money & don't feel a need to have or flaunt these things. How each country pronounces the names of "brands" is a regional thing. There is no right or wrong. If one really needs a more precise enunciation call the company in its home country. Silly people. 🤣

Some areas are like that, I saw a film that was set in Palos Verdes and pictured the people who lived in the area: they even scare people who don't live there away from their beaches! Can you imagine, it's a public beach! But they want exclusivity to the extreme.
