Hmong people got tricked into fighting the Vietnamese war. The war started because of opium in northern Vietnam and France wanted all of the opium from northern Vietnam so they divided north and south Vietnam. France told the hmong’s to fight communism and the Hmong’s were to hold the Vietnamese from coming up north to where the opium fields were. Once the Vietnamese took back control of northern Vietnam France gave up and left home. (France probably got enough opium for themselves already by the time and said good bye to the hmong people) Hmong’s got pushed back into Laos and the Laos people turned on the Hmong’s. Snitching to the Vietnamese and telling where every hide outs for the Hmong’s were and turned in all the Hmong generals to the Vietnamese to assassin. This is how bad the Hmong’s got tricked. 99 percent of the Hmong’s in the United States still believe the war was about communism. I went to college and learned how bad my people got tricked to fighting this war in history class. If you ask how the war started every Hmong person will tell you that the war started to stop communism but it really wasn’t about stopping communism. It was for opium.

My wife’s sister’s husband was an original peace MOD from Fresno, CA. He told me crazy stories about his life in Fresno back in the 90’s. It was a very dangerous time for them. They beefed with Mexicans, blacks, and other Asian gangs. Now, he’s in his early 50’s and is a retired member that just wants to enjoy life with his family.

I lived in Fresno most of my life and we have tons of Hmongs here. I was reading the clickbait and I got confused about the title. I figured it out after the intro. I grew up around a lot of Hmongs and Laos people and generally, they are good, hard-working people. The 90s were a wild period for Southeast Asian gangs. Most of them grew up and became a productive part of society.

One big reason for hmong people sticking with their own people stems from stories passed down for generations. These stories have their own variations but the theme mostly goes like this:
Hmong man makes friends with lao, vietnamese or different ethnicity. They all decide to go hunting together in the jungle and come face to face with a tiger or bear that is going to kill them. Tiger jumps on the hmong man and he screams for his friends to help him but all of his friends run away because they don't want to get killed either. Somehow hmong man survives the attack and makes it back to the village to confront his friends about why they didn't help him. His friends don't have a good answer besides they were scared and didn't want to die so hmong man cut them out of his life. Few years goes by and hmong man goes back hunting with his cousins/other hmong men. They get attacked by another tiger and the man screams for help from his hunting buddies. All of them are scared and don't want to die but they don't want to see one of their fellow hmong get killed so savagely so they gather their courage and help fight off the tiger and help the man back to the village. From that day on the man told the villagers that friends of different ethnicities are good when everyone is laughing and having a good time but when it comes to life and death situations, your brothers(hmong) are going to be the ones to really help you. No matter how good of friends you are with other races, you truly don't know what kind heart he has because you don't share the same morals and loyalties.
That pretty much sums it up. These stories are passed down by mouth from generation to generation as lessons to kids

I am born and raised in a small white community in my mid 40s. I got my bachelor in Sociology and studied into Human Induced Disasters. What i can honestly say about all gangs that are non white is that the culture of America purposely shaped society to be criminal. There was never an Asian gang in my city but in the 90s across America as you know gang violence became a prominent issue and the city police fabricated that there were asian gangs with my Hmong cousins and brother. The reason for that was so they could get more funding for the police departments. I remember personally getting harassed by the cops and I knew the cops were corrupted. What didn't make sense was that they are the bullies and I wondered why they were treating us Hmong like that. I finally got my answer when I studied Sociology and one of my professors stated that cops fabricate statistics all for more funding to the departments.
That is why America is criminal as criminal behavior is a learned behavior and society learns it from America's social leaders, cops, jugdes, lawyers, and politicians

Asian Crip 357 aka AC was originally Asian Connections. It was a Viet gang but they included other Asians in there too. When the Viets left, the Hmong that were already in the gang recruited more Hmong. It unintentionally became a Hmong gang. AC were just as savage as the MOD gang. They stepped up to almost any gang that were in their path including black crips too.

Maybe you might just get the answers. When speaking about hmong gangs. Most likely they have their own history but mod have the most outrageous as spoken for and members who made it hit the chart in America. Can't argue about it when they made it to gang land/ fed indictment etc and over hundreds of members in the penitentiary all over the united states for mostly aggravated crimes they committed.

    • @mouacheemeng
      @mouacheemeng 10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

@@DUDEfreestyle nah I spoke to dudes that were part of Asian connections that were in it way before AC became a thing. Most people didn't get along with the menace gang, especially Asians. It's what it is if they lied. I don't care how it started, like it makes a difference. I got families in both MOD and AC, but AC goes way harder in Minnesota. Currently, they're the deepest and most active in MN. Other crips get beat up by them way more than MOD or bloods do. They're not racist like other Hmong gangs esp the ones that wear red. Unless you move funny, you'll be food. The MOD wears blue in MN probably to disguise themselves as crips so they're safe from AC. GDs also wear blue and they had their bumps with crips proving that color doesn’t matter. MOD is probably the most bipolar Hmong gang because they have multiple colors esp outside of Cali. There were other gangs who figured out their art of disguising and that was that for them. I don't hate on them, but they were only badass back then. Mods were tough because they had the numbers, but when other gangs have similar numbers, they switch roles. It's now they're ducking from everyone. In Minneapolis, even fobs kick MOD asses.
When it comes to Asian crip gangs in America, Vietnamese are the most common. Even though Asian Boyz is a Cambodian gang in Long Beach, they make a lot for them. I rock with Viets and Cambodians learning more about their cripping than Hmong that only hang with Hmong thinking they know about Crip shit yet don’t function with blacks. Hmong are backwards when it comes to blood and crips tbh compare to Cambodians. As far as history goes, Cambodians go way back with Black Crips beefing with the Longos. This is probably the main reason why they are certified with cripping vs other Asians that claim crips.

M.O.D came from Peace MOD. Original PMOD was to protect the Hmong elders and kids from other race/ethnics. PMOD got big and lost control, so the younger/newer generation broke off and became known as "MOD". They later gave a definition to the three letters (Masters of Destruction). Later also known as Men of Destruction and Menace of Destruction. MOD wasn't the only one that came from PMOD. There was ORB, later AC and other smaller sets that joined the bigger gangs later. ORB was AIB/OIB first before Raiders then Ruthless. AC was Connection before Crip.
The war between Hmong and Laos folks in Fresno was because the Lao dudes felt the Hmong were weaklings. This is because the Lao fought hard against the Mexicans, blacks and whites for the Asians. Hmong did too but not as strong as the Lao. The Lao were known as SKB, the first Asian gang in Fresno. SKB started to pick on Hmong, until the first Hmong gang known as CLB formed and fought SKB hard until they stopped messing with Hmong. This is all before PMOD's time by the way. Even after the beef between both ethnics and gang, SKB/Lao started to pick on Hmong again due to the younger and newer generation coming up. 2nd gen SKB basically became 209. 209 was beefing hard with Hmong. They showed up at the Fresno Hmong New Year to pick on innocents. Then, rival Hmong sets joined together to rush 209 out of the gates. Nowadays, there's nothing serious or major between them. Even some Hmong joined/hung out with Lao gangs in Fresno such as 209, OBS, LB, etc.

Seems there is a lack of good leadership within these Hmong gangs. If the original purpose of PMOD was to protect Hmong people, than the leadership should have formed a blood oath for that purpose and not let anyone stray away. The Yakuza is a good example of gangs that have good organization. Anyways, its a good history lesson for some of us to understand why Hmong gangs were formed. The Hmong fighting spirit is alive and well. Peace to all.

Back in the day I remember they had long hair and tails, wore trench coats and leather jackets or Los Angeles kings, Georgetown Hoya and raider starter jackets and the Mercedes emblem on a gold chain.

They just know there was a war and they had to flee. Everything else they know is just words from some other people. They were taught that Thai people look down on them and they don't like Thais too much but what they failed to realize is that the Thais are the ones who helped saved their lives during the war times. However the Thais do have derogatory slangs about the Lao just like the Lao peoples have about the Hmongs but they don't hate them or dislike them it's kinda like the more well off or the rich will make fun of the less fortunate it's like this all over the world.

Not sure if the Hmong heads ever touched down with the IGz home base in Chicago. But they for sure know the Puerto Ricans from IGz in Milwaukee. And vice versa.

I am from the older generation so I wasn’t part of any gang back in the 90’s, however I crossed path with lots of different Hmong Gangs and they didn’t like each other.
They told me that on the outside, they can’t see each other else fight will ensure but once they were booked, they stick together to fight against others Non Hmong Gangs in prison.
I told them that they were stupid, on the outside why couldn’t them just give each other the middle finger and move on instead of fighting and shooting…they agreed they were stupid.

Thailand helped Cambodians, Lao, Vietnamese with food water and ahelter and safety so you should be thankful to the Thais. If it wasn't for the Thais you guys wouldn't have made it out alive to the US so get your information correct. Even till this very day the Thais are helping any and all Cambodians who needs a job they can make money working in Thailand to support their families and send money home. Be thankful, bro.

If it was all love from the beginning.. they wouldn’t be fighting wars for hundreds of years.. you weren’t in the refugees shoes to understand their stories

@urbansurvivorguy wars are fought all over the world and Cambodia hasn't fought a war with Thailand over a hundred years or longer and there's no hatred from the Thai side i can guarantee that otherwise they wouldn't allow Cambodians to come seek a new life in Thailand. Bro Thailand is the America of the Southeast Asia everyone wants to come find opportunity and live in Thailand including people from all over the world. I guess Cambodians have a sour taste for Thais. The Thais could care less for anyone else they are way too busy making money and being the hub of Asia.

@@888connection5You should also be thankful that the Khmer empire gave Thais some land which is called Thailand. We help you, you help us. Also thank the media, movies, kickboxing, food, tourists, nightlife, the U.S, China, TH-cam for making Thailand the Hub of Asia. Well deserved, no sour taste at all and will be visiting.
