    Having studied with a former member of the Montreal Symphony, I wished I sought out an opportunity to study with you. A fan to your instruction and performances.

    I didn't know about the note groupings of 3 and how much you can do structurally with those. Wonderful insights!

    Thank you for another great video. I really appreciate if you talk about tone resonance, to resonate tone rich and deep, to reach as far as possible, even pp.

      Thanks for your suggestion, k. There is a video in my planning about dynamics and tone colours... keep watching!!🤞

    I was recently given a part for an audition with a D# and E natural in the opening scale! That was not any of the options you've discussed. What do you think I should do with that?

    • @EmilyBeynonflute
      @EmilyBeynonflute  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Gosh, that’s a combination I’ve seen before. I would be ready to play any combination and ask when you get there on the day.

    Hello, I got a lot of help from watching your video. May I ask for Korean subtitles?

    • @EmilyBeynonflute
      @EmilyBeynonflute  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there M_ju_! Thanks for watching and for your request. Sungwon Cho has very kindly done all the videos until this point but has had to stop due to getting back to her studies in London. I'm currently looking for someone to make the Korean subtitles... watch this space!

    I never hear the "p" at the beginning of the solo taken literally. It all sounds "mf" so there's no difference where it IS marked "mf" at 177. Is this the way it should be?

    • @EmilyBeynonflute
      @EmilyBeynonflute  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Thanks for your question Leo - it is markes solo and piano, so a "soloistic p" which in practical terms does indeed probably mean something more like mf. It certainly shouldn't sound shy, but as I say in the video - do leave some space to develop through the first 3 G#s. Hope this helps!
