Is this vibrato the same as singers' vibrato? In other words, if an opera singer learns to flute, would he be able to use his singing vibrato on the flute? And would a flutist be able to apply her flute vibrato to singing?
That’s a great question! I’m not sure, as I am not a singer, but it’s not quite the same! Sound wise, we often try to imitate the vibrato of singers, but how we do it is a bit different as we are using air and not activating our vocal chords

I actually liked the vibrato on every note 😂. But I definitely understand the purpose of doing it sparingly according to the phrasing
