Hi. Im from the year 2040. CL means "Cozy Land", it's a farming simulator that FromSoftware released back in the day, I believe in 2027. (No, Silksong is not out yet).

As long as it's not ~space~ for some reason fantasy creators keep branching out to outer space, which while it can be cool, isn't the vibe I'm looking for from them. 😞
If it's real, "CL" could stand for "coral link" or something with coral in reference to a possible Armored Core 6 generation sequel. Usually AC games get a sequel that reuses most assets from the previous game but has a new campaign, parts, and mechanics. Thus, why armored core is viewed as multiple generations.
Had the same thought. In my head I thought Core Logic but same conclusion. It makes the most sense given their interest in continuing with AC and given that Miyazaki thought the SOTE pushed the souls formula to its limit it will likely be a long while before we receive news of anything new on that front.
Armored Core 6 : Fires of Rubicon : Coral Legion, reference the 3rd ending. I doubt that's the case but remember that they have never released an AC title without a follow up game / expansion. I don't know about anything else they might be doing. But of more Armored Core. I am certain.
@@ciro_costa a long time ago someone wrote something called "The Unified Armored Core Theory" which has since expanded to the "From Software theory" generally linking the AC then later souls games into a single universe. Though I think a crossover would be a disaster.
From 2009 to 2023, fromsoft has released 8 games. That is basically a game every 2 years, which is mind-blowing from the perspective of how great every one of those games were. With that track record, it won't be long till we hear something & get something new.
@bigsmall2842 They really don't reuse the same assets. They do, however, reuse the same gameplay mechanics/ideas. They've always improved the assets when reusing them as well.
the evidence (me sacrificing my firstborn child before an altar) points towards codename CL being a Sekiro sequel (I'm snorting copium I'm on my knees I surrender anything I can before the gods so that it may be the sekiro sequel)
i can understand the people being worried about Fromsoft focusing on quantity over quality with so many games, but it should be noted that they have been operating like this for at least a decade now. They always had multiple games in development at the same time. So they aren't actually doing anything different than before. They just have more resources to distribute among even more projects than before. Personally i'm not worried until the actual releases fall off in quality, which has yet to happen.
I get that. However, Elden Ring would have been much better if they scaled it back & focused on making all weapons unique, and having no repeat bosses, and open areas that have nothing in them.
It'll be pretty stupid of fromsoft to not be working on a nightmare-aesthetic game like BB... they gotta know how people would sell their souls to play something like that again
@@Lead1121 I'm glad they are showing restraint, it's ok that we aren't waiting for Bloodborne 5 right now, I only want Fromsoft touching the Bloodborne IP, or Bluepoint for a remake.
Actually, after putting in some thoughts, I think a bigger From working on more projects at a time might actually be able to maintain the focus of each game better than having so many people working in the same project at once. I mean, Miyazaki had already mentioned that he had assigned different talents to direct their own project instead of him managing all of them, and as we all know by now, many of the best games out there were pretty much all created by a small and compact team instead of those massive AAA studios with hundreds if not thousands of people conflicting with one another in a single dumpster fire.
Probably CL = " CANDLE LIGHT", given the rumour last year this was a Mage-centric game called Spellbound where a Lantern was to be used Prominently in the game mechanics (this was Pre Lords of the Fallen 2023). A game where light (and dark) is a main feature would be cool (shades of the Dark Souls 2 E3 Demo) with perhaps the light source going out representing a big danger in dungeons. I can just picture the mage's colourful spells illuminating corridors as monsters advance on the player.
Gotcha Gotcha Games is the RPG Maker company and they don't really make games, just RPG Maker software, so it's safe to assume they have only 1 unannounced project.
@@ciro_costa I think a huge part of what makes Sekiro so razor sharp is that it decided to forego large build variety, outside of which prosthetics you equip. But in Sekiro they could hone in very exactly what the player is capable of and how the bosses can challenge that. I hope they stick with that philosophy for a Sekiro sequel. Since Elden Ring was more successful than all other Fromsoft games combined, I'm afraid that's exactly what we're going to get. The market has spoken, to the detriment of great game design. I'm not sure if I'll ever get something like Dark Souls 1 or Bloodborne from them ever again after the staggering popularity of Elden Ring and Shadow of the Erdtree.

I think we need to put things in perspective. Lets say they are working on 5 games. Are there 5 different full sized teams working on them? Doubtful. There's different stages of game development. One being pre-production. AC6 for example technically began work in like 2017(?). But only released just last year. In preproduction you wont have a full sized studio but a core team who prototype, greybox, concept art, and storyboard. All before they really commit to the prototype and a full team is brought on. Likely while they were finishing DS3 there was already a small team prototyping sekiro just as an example
I hope their next game comes out a lot sooner than later. FromSoftware is saving gaming in my opinion.

I feel like Vaati is working with fromsoft on there next game or cooking up something big . He’s be pretty quiet lately.
Kings field 5 baby! Or shadow tower 3!
CL - Cosmere Land...I wish
Circle of Light (Miquella's) - Elden Ring 2
Off topic but I’m playing Ds2 rn and I’m glad I came back cause I love it
I hope it’s 5 mobile gotcha games that have a pay to play mechanic. Maybe put in some of those 3 free spins today mechanics. So much fun.
Nothing is confirmed. Bandai Namco saying it's working on multiple games doesn't mean anything cos they have multiple brands under them.
They need a new RT based rendering engine
Ac6. Dlc? Pls?
I just hope whatever they make comes out before sony gets their grimey hands on it
Clearly "CL" stands for "Candy Land". A grimdark take on the classic childrens board game.
