    I think Africa should. From what they are doing so far for their countries, it looks positive. They don’t give speeches, turn around and do the opposite. They are a shining example for others to follow. Proud of them!✊🏾

      Exactly! They are walking their talk and that’s what matters most.

    The only thing that matches the beauty of this presentation is the zeal of these revolutionary leaders to move their people towards glory. Great great presentation!

    Good job! You are more like Nkrumah and the other African leaders of the 1960s.

    This whole thing of not being able to buy self defense materials and airplanes is really disturbing! So many countries have complained about this! We have to start making our own in the continent! It’s crazy because how can we defend our continent if we can’t even get the materials? But US and France give these materials to our enemies for free to come and attack our continent! Wickedness! Thanks for the video

      As Assimi Goita pointed out, the goal is is to keep us permanently dependent on the west. The problem of terrorisms was a handy excuse for them to have their soldiers here in order to protect their interests(our resources) under the guise of fighting terrorism. Thankfully, both Mali and Burkina Faso have taken a different course and hopefully, they will be successful🙏🏿

    Great! I came across the video before. I will always support any leader who puts his country first before anything else. Just like Trump would say America first, well, we say Africa first. After all, that’s what the whole struggle is all about.

      For sure, brother! The best interests of Africans and Africa must always be what guides African leaders and that certainly appears to be the case with both Ibrahim Traore and Assimi Goita.

    All we can do is wait and see. Trust nobody that hasn't earned it.

    Our problem is we don't have knowledge as human beings and we don't want to learn and satisfy with the little we have Gid have mercy upon us

    Africa must start making their own equipment after all they have all the resources to do so.

      That’s true but such endeavors take time and the skills plus technology needs to be acquired from those who have it. If all of Africa was working towards this goal, it would have been easier but as small, separate states, it is an uphill task.

    I see they are trying to break free but where are the jobs created for scientists ?. How many attempts are being made to create opportunities for scientists and engineers ?. Without a huge percentage of these intellectuals mentioned it is impossible to create a stronger nation. If you can't build the machines for mining you will never be able to control the industry in any significant way where your people can benefit.

    • @talkingAfrica
      @talkingAfrica  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You make an important point and hopefully, the two leaders will make science and technological development a priority

      @@talkingAfrica before, during and after world War 2 many scientists were being paid a reasonable salaries along with some perks to leave their countries to work for USA government on capital projects. All the other first world nations did the same to become and stay strong. If he has uranium that's unlimited energy, if he has iron ore that's means engineering the construction of the biggest mining machines , trains, cars, trucks can be easily constructed
