Btw Chris, my mom and I seen one of these Rivian vans in Dallas, and she loves them a lot! She also loves the Rivian speaker motor sound whenever it’s parked and switched on, but others hate it, so that’s the reason why Amazon got rid of the motor sound on all of them. Good video, and keep on delivering those amazing prime and regular packages man! 👍
As far as eco-friendly goes, I'm still convinced E85 is better than both options. It would be a pain to run a bike off of that though... That's one nice looking e-bike. Oh, and personally, I will watch your channel no matter what you're doing. I'm here for your charming personality and comfy vibes. The Amazon thing is really interesting though. Delivery drivers like yourself keep the world going.

Just one thing to remember, Amazon wants to make money first and foremost, everything else is a byproduct good or bad. In a hypothetical world, if all emission standards were removed and polluting internal combustion vehicles saved the most money, they would not hesitate to switch.

I’m still waiting for that 22-30 pay raise man and our edvs, I work in Orlando and we just got a 19.75 pay raise from 18.25 and our edvs don’t come for my Dsp until January 🤦🏻♂️ btw that water bottle is cool, a freaking MagSafe on it! Nuts lol
I dont undestand why the routing system cant figure out group stops in one apartment building...Ive had so many instances where It puts group stops in 2 to 3 different buildings...Paying the techy guys good money should have that fixed.
so leaving amazon soon? looking to join im in san diego ca, not a long term like years to do it maybe just for a bit, from what im seeing lots come and go they dont stay many years as this is not a long term type job do to pay lol
The vans are just a tax break. There's still no good way to recycle the batteries. The materials mined are still a large hit to the environment, and that's ignoring what mines they came from because not all mines are ethical work places.
And even then, we have the mines to get the materials for the batteries, still not any good way to recycle the batteries. The only benefit really is that the environmental hit is in a select area rather than on the move like an ICE car. If you have wind mills for your power, what do they do with the blades as they need replaced? To the landfill, they go. So in reality it's just as detrimental as an ICE car, it's just a tax break for Amazon.
Fall is around the corner. can't wait for sweater weather!
