The bottom of my floor boards are scraped flat and its starting to grind the ties off from my rubber mats so I'm going to buy 2 cap head titanium bolts. Then it'll throw pretty sparks at night plus it will take much longer to wear down titanium rather than aluminum
There are 2 kinds of riders my man. Those of us who giggle like a little kid when our boards scrape, and those of you who are afraid and tell themselves they're gonna get a bike that won't scrape
Scraping floorboards is ok! That's good, because it happens a lot!

on my 14 street glide.. the floor board mounts scrape.. so beware! THOSE DON'T MOVE!
Believe me, on my Suzuki C50 I have absolutely NO problem scraping the boards...On that it's hard not to....Lol.
I ride the same bike 2009 model, and have the same problem. Every time I get lower I hear that scrape!
@@pdxripjaw I fixed the problem. I replaced the boards with a set of pegs from an M50.
@@jamesmcgrath1952 Was it a simple swap or did you need to do any extra modifications besides removing and swapping the pieces?
@@pdxripjaw Simple swap. They're built on the same frame. Make sure it's a complete swap. Foot controls included.
Why not buy a good bike designed in this century, that don't have foot boards and that can be leaned way over!

I don't have boards on my bike but pegs and I am scraping my pegs. So what?
Have you rode 1500 miles without foot boards? If you have then you’ve answered your question.
This guy lacks his lips more then and iguana lol
