i'm like " ahhh i've never written a cold pitch..." false, if you had an internship in college, you've written a cold pitch. i was shaking sending an email to a music artist for my internship at 17 and ended up getting some of the coolest portfolio footage from it. crazy to realise i didn' t consider that email to be anything when it was actually a massive stepping stone

Hey deya ! Thank you for these videos .Can you make a video on how to follow up? i find it super cringy. A step-by-step framework will help.

Hi Deya! Cold emailing is the scariest part of becoming a freelancer for me for sure lol but this video helped a lot because it showed me that I don't need to (or should not!) be pushing products on people which is cringe and feels grubby to me. I was curious if you do anything to special to email people? Do you just use google workspace to do it or do you use a platform specifically for cold emailing? Not sure tbh i just know someone that got locked out of their google account because they were sending a bunch of cold emails and stuff and id like to avoid that.

Hi Deya... I'm so thrilled by the utter simplicity yet value-packed nature of the contents you share here with your community.... It's been really insightful 🤗
I just have a few questions
    1. How can one make a portfolio??
    2. What websites or apps would you recommend to help me do that??

Hi Divine! Thanks for the kind words.
I've got a video on portfolio with a free template here -- th-cam.com/video/o2GvoLAwHMk/w-d-xo.html
For a quick portfolio, I think Notion or a Google folder or Canva is fine! :)

9:42 Hi Deya, I’m currently working a full-time job where I focus on CRO and web optimisation, and I’ve also recently started an ecommerce business on the side, where I’ve further honed these skills. It’s slowly growing, but it’s not yet at the point where it covers my expenses fully. I’m considering leaving my full-time job to focus on my business and also take on freelance work (CRO and web optimisation).
When pitching to potential clients, should I use my full-time job experience as examples of my skills and projects? Should I position it as something I’ve done in the past, or is it okay to mention I’m still currently working there? Also, would it be helpful to include my own eCommerce business as a case study?
Thanks so much for your amazing videos, they’re incredibly helpful!

    Great content as always, Deya!
Having testimonials right in the email is a very smart idea.
    I have a question though:
Should we really follow up if they have not answered our first mail?
Would that not be rude and leave a bad impression?

Thank you so much btw - I totally appreciate all these tips. They are tiny, but every bit increases our credibility. This is almost a checklist at this point🩷
