- Never give a discount on the builder word. He said this was smaller than a previous one but turned out to be EXACTLY the same size!!!
#scaffolding #building #bricklaying
though i could graft when i was on the trowel but you are on another level bud
The longer videos are good . Keep grafting shark !! Good to watch mate 👍🏻 👍🏻
What a beast
U do a rally good job on here am a big supporter of u do.a rally good job on here and u do at on are own u do a rally good job on here keep up there good work on here
Nice work, I think I appreciate scaffolders a bit more after watching this!
Absolute bandit 🙈
Instead of being negative why not offer advice or are you just someone who knows nothing and don’t even have a job I bet.
I rendered that house a few years ago.
Good job mate.
how do you stop the whole thing sliding down the roof? Is it just friction or is that base enough to stop it pushing outwards?
My thoughts exactly
This one is begging to fall
Over when that chimney gets stacked on the top lift
Don’t worry lads he’s got it tide in to the pvc gutters 👍🏼👍🏼
The Weight of the scaffold is towards the roof, so you have little chance it falls outwards.
If the wind catches it, different story.
@@giuseppefibonacci5246
And the roof is pitched yes it is transferring to the roof but the roof is not flat
With a base width of 450mm
This is dangerous
Guarantee it slid down the roof a little with just him stood on it
@@giuseppefibonacci5246 yeah the weight is on the roof Vertically and the reaction from the roof is at 30 degrees from the vertical, so what happens to the horizontal component?
Friction between the tubes and boards? Nope.
Moment resistance of the front lift and it's friction on the ground? Good luck and cross your fingers!
Two roof ladders would have done on that surly
Can’t rip the customer off then with putting a premium on the scaffolding
What dropping a chimney, check a trade sticker boy 😀
Is that not a lot of weight coming down the roof only being supported by a 2 board wide scaffolding ?
The width will make no difference on weight. Still supported with 6 standards plus most of the weight is supported by the roof.
@@MrBITSBOBS anytime I've done a job like that and not tied it in before putting the weight on the roof it's started pushing the uprights away from the building
@@danieldunn7827 yeah the narrower it is the chance of that happening.
This will also depend on how steep the roof is.
Couple rakers with pull backs will be sound
its a rough job pal especialy with the single handrail and 2 boards wide scaffold and not tied in not even a lazy raker.. there is a massive chance the weight could slide the scaffold down the roof and push it over.. hes took a huge chance handing it over as complete.. but like he said.. "ITS ONLY ABOUT GETTING THE JOB DONE" 😂😂
This is by far the roughest one he’s done
That looks like
It begging to fall over
Couple of inches wud b nice, another sleeve fest, exactly same as we did today and yesterday,if we thought it wasn't safe we wouldn't do it,ya no wot we call that in Wolverhampton?EXPERIANCE
Experience*
Where's the yellow treads or sole boards 😲
Title says never trust a builder ..he trusted you mate and turns out every stage of the scaffold was " not ideal " and you didn't even bring enough gear to do the job ! ...
I know who I'd trust out of the two of ya and I've never even met the builder 😂
I didn’t bring enough gear because he said it was smaller. Watch the video🤷
@@SharkScaffoldNever good enough for some anyway sharky lad i know plenty that would have you do the job for them while your up there if they could get away with it 😂😂
no sol board's or base plates???
Are you eddie durkin?
Honestly mate you could of made that so much easier 5 ft tower going in the way would of been more then enough to whip that chimney out
Always ask for photos
It’s a dam bungalow cat ladder will do
It couldn't have been an insurance job. Then there would be six guys there taking all day to put it up.
Why don’t you just google maps the address? Then your see the size of the job
lol never depend on a scaffolder 😂
You’ve never ever been in the building trade Doylem , I trust my life with these lads work , 200 foot up working at heights, obviously you’ve never relied on a scaffolding to get you places 👍👍sniff bandit
Hi mate, how did you get into scaffolding?
@@Deadend09 do I need to complete any courses, tests or have a specific cscs card? (Thanks for response lol)
Don’t go to school
It was a competition on the back of a cereal pack and he lost ..it was a forfeit😂
Forget the underslung tube. Stick it on top with doubles, much better to punch your standards off of. 👍🏻
👍🏻
why dont you use easy fix? especially with working by yourself'?!
Because it would cost a fortune to buy what I need.
@@SharkScaffold fairs but would get job's up quicker. so benefit's both?
Why can’t the builder just carry the bricks down a crawler ladder ? With some labourers ???
Ya may as well take the smallest chimney I've ever seen down
Painful that was
Looks miserable weather
absolute bag of nails
Stop talking little man’s head , could you do that on your own , with no weed or sniff every 3 hours , No !
Price?
Wtf has it got to do with you!?
Your mum
Cornell what’s your bank balance please
450 round here 🎉 2 up 1 down a day
I take my hat off to you as a worker but as a scaffolder you are the actual definition of a cowboy. Every video you are doing something dodgy because off all different reasons mostly cause your short of gear ect ect and try justify it with the same old sayings “for a job this side it’s not gonna matter” or “we have all done it” so on and so forth. Your right we have all done a few sketchy things in our time but you do them every job it’s piss poor. Go buy some more gear so your not constantly short and needing to pin the correct lengths together. Go measure the job so you can get a better gear list instead of looking at pictures or worse just guessing. Just take some pride in your work. There’s young lads watching this shit that will be taking a lot of notes from you and it’s terrible practise. Be better sharky
Well there’s not much I can say to that other than, YEE HAW 🤠😂😂😂. But seriously I understand what you are saying but I just look at it differently. As long as I provide a safe working platform that isn’t going to fall over, I don’t see a problem.🤷
Do your job not youtube , never trust a scaffolder more like
What's the matter with scaffs we do the dangerous stuff so builders and other people etc can do their jobs safely
@@AnthonyAnastasiou then don’t make a statement like never trust a builder because when it’s directed at scarfs as you call it you don’t like it just saying
@@stephenhcharlton but the scaffold is giving a reason for not trusting the builder
