Can you tell me the best way to remove tar like substance from bottom of Westinghouse seal door please
i usually use something strong like "methylated spirits" to clean up the black tar. i then use super glue after on the cracks that the tar comes out from and then a little bit of white silicone or masking tape to make sure it doesn't happen again. Goodluck
I have removed the bottom mounted freezer seal for my BJ385BQ-RWZ. I have removed it completely, including door liner.
How should I put it back on, the linner and the rods and then seal as shown in video. Or do I attach the metal rods to seal and then place with door liner and tighten.

I'm having trouble getting the bead into the bottom of the door
- You might need to use a small stubby screw flat bladed screw driver to pry the door liner forward more.
- Make sure you loosen or remove all the screws on the bottom.
- Or you can remove the door.
