Hey friends! I vlogged my whole first day on my new Health Plan. It was hard to balance getting all 5 pillars in, filming & running after my 2 littles… but I felt so energized, accomplished, and ready for another day by the evening! Thanks for following along this journey! Cheering you all on with yours! ❤
You got this girl! I did WW last year and lost 85 lbs. This year, I'm just tracking calories in fitbit. I learned a lot from WW, but the bottom line is that no matter what diet a person follows, it's calories in and calories out a person needs to be in a calorie deficit in order to lose weight. My goal this year is a 50 lb weight loss and some strength training.
NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE!! Hi Lauren. I really appreciate you sharing your journey with us. I’m 350 lbs and have been struggling with WW and I also use a rebounder for my main exercise and walking. (It’s hard!🤪) you are really pushing me & inspiring me to keep going. Love the videos!!
juggling health and family, your video struck a chord. my journey involved similar pillars. Aspect Health came into my life, not pushing it, just sharing. their personalized approach with sensors and a mobile app added a layer to my holistic approach. your commitment is inspiring, keep balancing those pillars. take care.
Go girl! It's so sweet when you finally lose that unwanted weight. I lost 109 pounds (half the weight of a refrigerator) in less than 4 months and have kept it off since then. Just like every woman struggling with weight loss now, I yoyoed for years - staying on track for a month or 2, losing a few lbs in the process before falling off. And each time I fell off, I just gained the weight back plus more. In July 2021, I was at my heaviest - 255 lbs... See full story on my channel.
You and your girls are so beautiful!! I love seeing mamas bettering themselves for themselves! I am on a journey with you! I am down 4 pound so far and am keeping it going! You rock! We can do this!! 💕
I have my trampoline on order (thanks for the sale tip the other day!!🎉) but I found a lady on TH-cam her channel is Michelle Briehler. She has a 14 day beginner program for free on her channel. I watched the tips for beginners and then the Day 1. It looks so fun and I love her music style and she keeps feet down on trampoline for the course. No kicking etc. So that is good to start. Plus, she has intermediate and then advanced workouts programs too. Just in case you wanted to try her out. Thanks again for letting us know about the sale the other day!!!
Lauren You r hard core for being willing to hop on the scale & start from scratch. I know you’re going to do well in all areas of your life. You are encouraging to me!
That rebounder looks super fun. I have also included the 5 pillars in my new year planning. I love watching you for inspiration and keep it up. Just one day at a time.
I love your videos. When you don't feel like you can conquer the weight loss, you can. It's tough. I'm back in the fight to lose about 80-90 lbs. I don't expect to lose that all this year, but it would be nice if so.
very surprised about your weight. I was guessing when you stood on the scale, 240-250-lbs. Best of luck to you. I started a "messy keto" and part ww(old school weight watchers from the early 90's) on Dec 24th and have lost 9 lbs from 246lbs. happy with that😃😀
Happy New Year Lauren! I'm restarting this year as well. Jan 01st 2024 I was 452lb and need to focus on weight loss but also health and my inner and mental health!
I just got a rebounder!! I had broken several bones in my foot and ankle a year ago. I haven't been able to get back into walking daily because of the pain it caused. So THANKS for the channel recommendation! I'll check it out today! You got this! We got this!
Hi friend. I'm also on a Weight loss journey. I'm also doing intermittent . Please send ideas for recipes and picts to see results. Take care. Thanks for motivation 🎉❤
I read a book years ago called the Change One diet. It was really helpful for me. Instead of changing everything at once(which generally isnt sustainable long term because lifestyle changes take time and enjoyment balance and consistency)you focus on one change per month or 6 weeks however long it takes until you dont feel like your on a diet your just living everyday life. Then you change the next thing. I started with breakfast than lunch snack then dinner. For me i never did diet meals or making foods i typically dont enjoy-i just focused on portion control. When i was changing lunch-instead of 3 tacos at taco bell and a lemonade id have 2 and water for example and id try to stay within certain calories per day or week. And walking at least 15 minutes a day thats it. My walking increased as i lost weight but the goal was always at least 15. I tried WW but it made me obsessive and i didnt enjoy it also kept me on a yo-yo because my cheat day would turn into days then weeks. Its not sustainable. Maybe try something less structured or create your own program that’s sustainable and non restrictive. Keep trying
Oh my gosh! The trampoline is such a good idea!! I have been eyeing one for a while. It looks fun and a good workout that is low impact but gets the heart going and body moving. 😊
I’m so happy that I found you! I can’t wait to follow along with your journey as it is very similar to mine! I also live in Texas, mom to multiple kids that I stay home with, starting weight was 315 and I have a lot of the same goals as you! How did your knees feel after the jumping? I have seen those type workouts before, but I always assumed 1, I was over the weight limit for it and 2, that my knees would be killing me afterwards! It looks so fun though! I’m also trying to find a workout that I enjoy so I can stick to it! We do family walks at least 5 times a week as well! Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us!
Well done Lauren so proud of you and I'm right here alongside you, I've been using a planner this week and writing out my to do list with my top 3 MUST do's for the day and that's helped me prioritise myself so much easier instead of running around like a headless chicken trying to fit everything in between work, household and children stuff. The rebounder looks fab, I'm trying to use just dance more often because I actually get a decent workout in and my daughter loves it too :) we've got this x
I’m watching you as inspo while tracking my breakfast in the WW app. You can do this! Keep nutrition as your #1 pillar when life gets busy and you’ll succeed in your weight loss journey.
I tried ww year and half ago or so and wasn’t successful I finally broke down and I’m seeing a dr to help me get healthy I’m also focus on over all health mental emotional spiritual physical. She recommended ww s giving it a go again . Today is day one . I’ll be 42. In April I have 3 kids 24,8,4 . I’d like to lose 60 pounds at least
Thank you so much for sharing! It’s good for me to have someone else close in weight to me. Good for you working at this while you are young! 55 here and been fighting this morbid obesity battle for years, trying not to loose hope. May I ask how tall you are? Rebounder looks fun but I’d break my neck! I’d need a bar lol
Good morning Lauren happy Thursday morning and I hope you having amazing day today and this was amazing video I enjoy your channel because you are amazing Supporter
I gained 2.2 pounds this past Wednesday at my weight watchers workshop/meeting. I have been having back pain issues since 2017. 3 back surgeries to correct the problem. I am going to see a new surgeon this month to see what is going on. My first back surgery was in 2017, 2nd surgery I had posterior lumbar interbody fusion in 2021 and 2023, I had 2 screws loose in 2022 so my surgeon had to do another surgery in 2023 to make sure everything went right. I did physical therapy and water therapy. Did not help me. Something else is wrong. I am not working at the moment. I need to get better first before I apply for jobs again. It’s been a long journey. Do you weigh your rotisserie chicken? Just asking.
The strongest tool is in our head. Listen to that voice. Use all you can to plan menus.meal preps etc.remind yourself how much you want and need this for your health your girls and hubby etc. I'm with you we are all in this together. Obesity has become a epidemic and most are just accepting of it by clothes being In larger sizes along with super size foods and drinks. Fight back with all we got for your kids and mine and everyone. You know what you need to do we got this.
You've got this! Start the gear off right. Keep changing things up so you don't get bored and you'll be able to stick to your plans. I wrote my goals down for the year which is first time I've written them down. I made sure to have different types of goals for the year, one includes reading more. :)
I’ve done both and both has its place. I now prefer to track my calories with Lose it! List 45lbs in 6 months and have kept them off for a year now. I found it easier and somehow less involved than WW.
Sorry to say but baked potatoes are not healthy at all if you want to eat healthy, that is seen as fries, it is better to just eat boiled potatoes much healthier and not fatty.

Fairlife has a 30 gram protein shake that's 3 points on WW, but they became so popular that they doubled in price recently.

I loved it how realistic and thorough the vlog was. Best wishes from India.
I'm looking at the rebounder but did you find the 40in big enough or is it worth the extra $30 for an extra 8 in? I'm 5 6 if that matters..
So many benefits come with rebounding
Hi Lauren, I have trouble with sleep also.
I find if I do 15-20 minutes of gentle stretching before bed.
I’m more relaxed and fall asleep easier.
Great day. Love your attitude. Slow and steady - with focus on progress (not perfection!. :)
