I love that you added “(Driver OK)” in the title.
Thanks WEC :)
Yeah if he wasnt they wouldnt post replay. Like Grosjean when his car burst into flames they showed nothing till they saw hom ok. I was so sure he was a goner watching live. That video of him pulling himself out of the fire, if he'd been out? I duno man
@@captaintoyota3171 I thought Grosjean died too I still remember where I was when Romain had that crash
@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YTi also thought Grosjean was dead in Bahrain 2020.
I remember freaking out with my friends watching that one that really was fucking something to cut away and show nothing for ages
Wow that was big. Glad the driver is ok
Nada de otro mundo...veo muchos fans actuales muy llorones por cualquier accidente ya hacen un escándalo ,deberían ver otro deportes como golf. Cualquier accidente comun y normal hacen un escándalo
@@elpatolucas22 mate a driver has crashed there and died a few years ago. This is eau rouge not just any corner.
@@Yekky72637eau rouge is basically the ultra fast chicane.
@@damarfadlan9251 thats why when people crash there its a big crash
“BIG ONE AT EAU ROUGE” will always be a terrifying thing to hear
It's Raidillon actually🤓
@@SnakezF1 Well that’s not what the announcers say now do they?
@kingjulian420 listen at 0:18...
@SnakezF1 To be fair at 1:07 he says Eau rouge. You exit turn 4 (Eau rouge) into Raidillon. So you’re both kinda right

Jeez. That was rough to watch. Glad to see the driver is OK
big big hit, luckily not hitting by front but by rear. and the bareers did their job.
That a BIG hit, so glad to know the driver is OK-ish. Normall the GT3 cars would be travelling over 220 km/h over the crest so the hit would be at roughly 180 km/h and that is a LOT
Very strange that it slide out clockwise, i would have expected the other side to be loaded and it spin counterclockwise.
"He is OK or we would not be seeing the replay"
Present day race broadcast ethic?
Yes, this has become common practice in almost every racing series. You only show a replay when you know that the driver is at least doing okay.
Yes. I only saw the Hubert fatal accident at that corner once. I never wish to see it again.
@@benn8793Almost. I remember vividly in 2020 with Ryan Newman's Daytona 500 crash (a literal miracle of safety that he survived), they showed a close-up and replays before we even knew if he was ALIVE. Oddly enough, the same year that Grosjean had his crash in F1.
I still don't know what the director was thinking for showing Newman's crash right away.
@@ShadowWolfe That's why I said ‘almost’ every racing series. The Americans operate a little differently when it comes to this. And the Grosjean accident was only shown when he was out of the car. He got out of the car on his own.
@@scsutton1 that one was absolutely horrendous.
Me who crashes every second time on eau rouge on sim racing: 😟
WOW! Top of the mountain!
Glad he’s ok. Also glad to see the new changes to raddion and eau rouge working to keep the cars from bouncing back onto the track.
That noise! Omg that was a BIG impact
Ouch! That was hard.Good that he is Ok
Holy yowch. That corner is still one of the hardest in world motorsport to get right to this day.
Especially when stupid rules mandate that an amateur driver has to manage an extreme race car through that corner ... in the midst of even faster cars driven by some of the best drivers in the planet.
It's almost like the intention of the rule is to put professional drivers at as much unnecessary risk as possible, & to cost manufacturers as much money on replacing cars and parts as possible.
Im absolutely stunned that the've rebuilt that thing over night! Impressive Teamwork!!! ❤
Yikes that was scary to watch glad the driver is ok that was a hard hit
Jeez, that was a heavy shunt. I'm really glad the driver was okay.
It's amazing how professionally Santa Claus waves the red flag!
Last year it was Range Van de Zande whose Cadillac underwent "rapid disintergration".
omg, glad to know the driver is fine
Holy cow ! Glad the driver is okay
I remembered a lot that Cadillac also got this big crash during 6hrs of Spa last year.
Glad that the impact wasn't frontal!!! Driver is very lucky!
Wow, that's a big one! Glad he's OK. Now, the question is: will the car be repaired in-time?
That looked terrifying. Glad he's OK.
Bellissimo radillon❤❤
Glad the driver is ok..reminds me of 03 Cadi last year..
Damn!
Eau Rouge & Radillon claims another one
can we notice is it because understeer or oversteer from this crashed..?
I play ACC and sometimes get same result when cornering.
Strange how we got a Early Eau Rouge crash to now every late crash like this
Ouch! Nasty!
Wow
On a besoin des qualifs gratuitement ou a voir sur l'équipe ou eurosport ....

First, thanks that the driver was OK. It's hard to tell under what conditions a GT3 car can take flat out at this turn.
Really harsh watching the LMGT3 leaders Manthey - Pure Rxcing Porsche #92 in this hard crash 😔
Glad Alex is ok and cleared to race 🥲 He's a very fast Bronze driver and not reckless.
Hopefully the team can repair the car on time for the race🤞
Is that the fixed car that came in second? Or a new car?
good he was ok. That was crazy
It happend right infront of me, hard crash!
Why always Eau Rouge/Radillon
I hope they have a backup car for the race.
That's violent crash after 2022 Preining accident
This is i playing ACC whit Porsche... 😢
Better than than foxies camera angles in a nascar race.
That it maybe for the Chassis...Hope they are able to start in the race...
They got p2 somehow
That’s coming out of his paycheck
Wow that's a bad one! Hope the driver is good.
We are seeing it, so the man can walk.... when was this?
The fact that we see this video from an official source is your confirmation.
@@DuvJonestoday
You just need to slightly close the angle of the turn and place it. a gravel trap on a flat surface to avoid. Let it plummet to the level of red water. The drivers know that there is asphalt on the lagre So even in the most difficult conditions at the start of the turn. he remains at full weight transfer and leaves the track. Closing the corner would require them to apply the brakes before entering. We must keep the identity and DNA of this circuit. Absolutely no straight line...
We need more of the "Driver OK", really love to see this! We can make things better!
Remind me again how it's a 'budgetary decision' to have amatuers driving factory race cars in a world championship.
Anyone care to guess how much it's going to cost Porsche to fix / replace that race car?
Quem nunca balançou e saiu de traseira nesse ponto da Au Rouge? 😅
Only 2 Porsches in line up...sad to see
Big crash 😵
huge hit, I'm surprised that porsche stayed together the way it did, was expecting a bigger wreck
Barry R. saved him
Or was it Tai R. Wall?
@@mrdavies09 YES.

911 snap oversteer?

Hope he is ok

It´s always Radillon, isnt it? The most dangerous turn in motorsports yet everybody keep racing there
Because it is one of, if not the most dangerous turn in most motorsports categories. That's the thrill of it.
I thought It was called au rouge
@@caledonianrailway1233Eau rouge is the entry, Radillon is the exit left handed.
@@keystonedriving8180 never knew they had separate names
The problem is not crashing there, it's being crashed on by other drivers after a crash. No visibility on top of the apex at 300kph + which is ridiculously dangerous especially with low visibility. This track is not safe. End of.
Respectfully to you WEC: I understand the need for building good TV moments by showing the crew waiting, but the crew AND the viewers are only wanting to see the car & driver's status, and nothing else. Please stop these long drawn out shots of the pit garage when the driver is what's important.
Say the driver isn’t ok, wouldn’t really be ethical to show the aftermath of a fatal crash would it?
@@robywhenthe I'm not suggesting they have a closeup of the cockpit. But the typical wide shot of the car from a distance. This is not an unusual suggestion.
The crew is the important part not the fans
That's nasty to be honest, this is why I'm avoid watching qualifying in spa every motorsports
Spa still destroying cars
Is it not rear-engined? Where is it?
Its mid engine
@@IgorLeont nope 911 is rear engined
@@harveyjones1392 road legal 991s are rr indeed. FIA GT3 versions of 911 are mid engine
@@IgorLeont oh really didn't know that cool
@@IgorLeont That's not correct. The 911 LMGT3 is rear engined. Last year's Porsche 911 RSR was mid engined.

we gotta do something about eau rouge

I am a fan of Spa. But they must work on that corner (Eau Rouge). To many thinks happened there and will happen. Dont chance the corner. Only expend the safty zone will help.
Motorsport will always be dangerous....end
@@TimWan93 when one turn is responsible for deaths and huge crashes regularly it's hard to just say that. that being said i know they cant push the barriers further or add a gravel trap there
@@PozzaPizzwhy cant they?
Some gravel there is fine but for the love of god don't make it a straight. It's the most iconic corner of spa. Without it, it wouldn't be spa.
@@PozzaPizzit's motorsport. I and most of the spa and motorsport comunity aren't willing to make eau rouge a straight. Huge safety improvments have been made since the last deaths. It's one of the few corners that requires balls to be taken fast. Without it, spa loses character.
Just a POS GT3 car. No loss there. At least the driver is ok.
It is a great car, you have 0 good taste in cars. Keep your crusty fingers off the keyboard if you have no meaning in life.
