GT3 vs. LMP3 . What's the difference?

I am disappointed no rule specifications were given, not even the most basic like max weight, power to weight or balance of power. I believe they were also wrong about the purpose of the shark fin on the LMP3 cars.

He's right about the shark fin. It smooths the air flow over the rear wing, increasing downforce.

In LMP cars the stability is what was key.
It smooths out airflow,but it also makes the car less prone to "barrel rolls" when getting sideways at high speeds.
