you don't center up. arms stay offset. when you hit it, it will retract back. you want it to come back over the shoulder. overhead straight swings will put you in the ER, it's not a Axe going in to wood. with that said I hope the next guy has fun while safe ☺️
I saw slipknot when i was 17, at The Plex in Charleston SC, corey tried to pull me onto the stage but a bouncer stopped him. I still want to punch that old prick for stopping me from being on stage with someone i basically worshipped as a teen. The only other time i felt like i did in that moment was seeing AFI at the same venue, davey walked out on the crowds hands, the guy next to me was weak, limp wristed. His arm crumpled causing davey to fall towards me, he landed on his feet but would have fallen completely if i didnt grab him to keep him from falling backwards. This was right when December Underground was released, davey shook the swoop from in front of his eye, said "youre a lifesaver" and all i could do was stutter "God called in sick today, he sure wasnt going to save you". I swear if i were gay the smile he gave me would have melted me right then and there. And yes, they played "god called in sick" right after that. I found out later that they played it three songs early in the set. One of the best nights ever....
