- With this build, you'll find it 10x easier to steal and hold off against opponents. We tackle a UNIQUE way of playing objectives, with the main focus on manipulating the cashouts in our favour for defence AND attack.
Of course, THE FINALS is starting to head towards a "team required" state, which is obviously fine, but for players like me and maybe yourself, we enjoy playing the game as a solo/duo. I hope that you took something away from this, as it took a lot of testing, and I'm currently on no sleep lol.

Nice build! I've been loving the Anti-Grav Cube, I was pulling off plenty of mid-air steals with it until more people realized you can shoot the cube, but if you throw it into rubble or other objects blocking it that makes it harder to hit. It's also great for last stand defense. Throwing it at the Cashout you're defending with a certain amount of time left is enough to throw off a team trying to steal, because it messes with their movement/inputs and makes them sitting ducks in the air. Just last night in a Ranked tourney I threw a cube down at the Cashout while facing a certain team wipe, and the anti-grav was timed to end at the moment the stealing team almost had it, so everything dropped canceling out the steal, and we qualified last second!
Ayyyy, yes this is the move, when I played initially I was surprised how fast it was able to be shot out, so I was trying things as mentioned, like putting it on the floor below (because they can’t even see it) then going up to steal etc etc, really fun learning the ways to counter makes the game so fun for me :D
I love that people are starting to innovate more uses with Heavy. I’ve been using these exact strats since S2 dropped.
Using gravity cube, goo gun and a Mediums Jump pad to send the cashout out of bounds or into high up spots that can only be reached by climbing the outside of the skyscrapers. (New season out of bounds glitch is unaliving players but allows cashout to be below the threshold… found on 1 map so far)
Yeah the jump pad into cashout combo was sooooo fun, setting it up is pretty hard to do, but watching a team see a cashout fly across the map is just hilarious :D
Dude I've been doing the same. I've stuck the cashouts in some really obscure places using the goo gun to make a plat form and it's funny af watching people not know what to do when they don't have a way to get up to the cashout

Top tier content again, almost like this video was tailored to me! I've been an enthusiastic goo gun user for some weeks now and I've also been testing the anti-grav cube in my main loadout but couldn't figure out many use cases yet, thanks for the great advice!

Bro, the ks-23 is so good and so few people know. I love shooting random holes into structures with it and making myself weird angles to hold and toss utility from as if im playing R6 seige.
Goo gun is also so versatile, especially after the recent glitch nade buffs that made shields less viable.
Love that these 2 are finally getting some appreciation from others as well!
Trueee the R6 siege comparison is a good one, but yeah combining this stuff together works well, especially when you can goo the legs of players into KS shots haha

I hope that heavy GL will get some love in the future. Right now it feels like very uneven weapon. Sometimes you can pull off some decent plays, other time u ends like defensless child at close/mid range, depending on ur position. Very fun weapon to play, yet its very frustrating sometimes that it acts weird. Like nades bouncing if u hit enemy directly, weird bounce angles on certain terrain etc.
Personally I would give it additional rmb attack that works on impact, and see how it works.
Yeah I agree, you see in the video me testing it out and I really did give it a try, but once you was in that situation where someone got close to you, it really was hard to do much about it, yes I could goo gun them etc but it doesn’t work vs 2 or 3 people
I can see all the potential in the goo gun antigravity cube combo.

I love defending the cash out and lately my favorite build has been Goo gun, M60, RPG, Grav cube, and barricades. With this build it is insane how long you can stall the cash out without even killing anyone. Sometimes i swap my M60 for the new shotgun just because it is very fun to use.

@@THiiXY I don't know how many times i have won a cashout by just annoying the hell out of people with the goo gun and them running out of time lol. Once you put some time in with the Goo gun it's hard to use a different specialization because just how much utility it brings.

@@Osky1111 It's so good, I had this one guy in the lobby who running riot shield so pissed off. I wouldn't even kill him I would just keep him out of the fight with goo until they would run out of time. He would just keep chasing me haha

I think it really depends on what you enjoy using, I use the M60 just purely because there's more bullets, but I think that maybe you could change depending on map?
For example longer range maps = lewis gun, short = M60? See how that helps!
Monaco, Seoul, Skyway Stadium = Lewis
Las Vegas, HORIZON = M60

Thiixy have you seen the goo gun jump tech already? You can turn 3 goo shots into a jump pad if you place them correctly and destroy one of the 3 goo balls

The Ks23 has potential to be super fun i just can’t stand the bullet inaccuracy when not ads or the bullet projectile speed or the reload time but im still gonna run this gun cause its cool lol
Yeah, I mean I stood still in the practise range and didn’t aim in and the bullets hit 90%+ of the time, I think it’s that damn shell travel time, that even effects if it’s really close (which isn’t really correct) could even be a bug? Idk honestly but it’s so fun, buff soon if I could guess

Is it they want u to find a team? Or is it u have to play more of a team like adjusting picks for team comp or staying with the team and fighting together?
Hmmm, I think that it really is the fact that their end goal is to have a scenario where players are together on comms, coming up with strats etc, which I’m all for because I love that aspect of the game. You raise a good point though where it’s like “should a team fight together” and of course that answer is yes, however it’s more important to focus on the correct fights to take, such as defensive or offensive, rather than fights no where near the cashout for example, efficiency is key!
How are you able to have a you machine gun and a sledge hammer ? Or a shotgun and machine gun. Almost like the overkill Perk on call of duty ?
for me i used since open beta the heavy build (smash,shotgun, rpg, bubble, barricades) i solo carried most lobbies because you were a monster in close fights. after the shotgun nerv, i cannot even kill lights or mediums when they are in front of me, means that this just killed the class for me and i changed to medium. i think i might try out the goo gun since this open new ways to fight and even like u showed with the gravity cube. u get hella lasered by lights or mediums its so sad that they bumped on the heavy but i think it was rly that op :D
Yeah I think that the game has made heavy pretty tame in that sense, but when utilizing heavy correctly, it's still pretty damn good. Try it out, it's pretty fun, let me know how it goes :)

Do u have a flamethrower sorta build, i find the flamethrower one of the most underrated/funniest guns
Yeah I build guides in mind that allow you to use any gun with it, so flamethrower fits well with this too, because you can goo them if they run away etc and close the gap that way :)

Yeah I think once I find a trio to squad up with the enjoyment will probably 10x for me because of the discovery of combining things etc etc
The KS shotgun is so good and it also does decent damage from a distance

Yeah, I think that instead of 4 shells to destroy maybe 3, but it's a fun weapon to use, just longer range it's definitely way more difficult
@@THiiXY3 would be perfect. I’m finding that I’m getting them to that last shot close range but ultimately getting outgunned by SMGs and machine guns/auto rifles

This was ... strangely my build from when the cube came out but with an actual strategy . Im a hot garbage player so my goals were all support based . Goo gun for memes and bridges , flamethrower for gas removal and aim , cube to raise the cashout in danger , dome to protect while stealing and rpg as thats the only thing i can actualy "aim" . I never thought a similar build would pop up randomly especialy when the kill self and salsa are so meta for heavy.
Ahaha yeah it's also really fun to use too, and catches a lot of players off-guard :)

a simple ROF change would make it feel so much better

Finally, a Finals TH-camr that isnt braindead and wants everything but their playstyle nerfed.
Ive been playing since closed beta, and its a shame to see how much the Heavy keeps getting nerfed. I play every class and i found counters to every playstyle, including nukes. So many youtubers and streamers and their communties got the nukes banned, C4 nerfed into the ground and RPG nerfed as well.
Each class has its role. Light class is movement and stealth. Get in fast, hit them, steal, get out. Hit and runs. Thats why the light class gets the most movement and frankly highest DPS weapons in the game. The cost of that comes with the lower health pool.
Medium class is the support, gets the healing beam and defibs and the turrets. They are supposed to maintain control after;
The Heavy is to establish control. Heavy breaks into the enemy defense and helps establish control by using his crowd control weapons to deal damage to everyone in the area quickly and then help put up walls and defense while medium sets up turrets.
Each class has its role. And a lot of people fail to realize that and want The Finals to turn into a bland FPS. We have to keep The Finals interesting and unique.
Yeah I agree with you, I think the thing that sets me apart from other TH-camrs in this scene is that instead of trying to “hold on” to what either used to work, or just outright complain about it, I like to adapt according to what I’m presented with, in my kit. But I do agree though with your breakdowns on Light Medium and Heavy. It is to establish control, even to be feared in some way if you think about it, but people think that every class should be the exact same, which I don’t agree with as much. Maybe that’s why I really liked CB2 where all roles felt closer to that, but either way I adapt and focus on what makes heavy, heavy. That’s control. Thanks for watching!

The new shotgun is good but the auto one is just better as in the time u could kill one person with the pump u could kill 2 more people
100%, if you want more security on top of what you have (destruction to enable anti-grav etc) then KS, but the risk of being pushed etc is very high to hold your own ground. I still think the auto shotgun is in a good place.

The dome shield only seems to be raised by the anti-gravity cubelike 25% of the time...unreliable enough to not really have that part of the strat work
If the dome shield doesn’t rise, then the benefit is that it protects the anti-gravity from being shot out, that’s the way I think of it

Its so nice that people actually are being creative with heavy builds. Before s2, it was just sa12, dome shield, mesh shield, rpg and c4 and if u didnt choose that chances are you were going to lose. Its refreshing in a way, the devs actually listen to the community, there are way too many game companies now that ignore their community.
Yeah it was that boring kinda default build and typically you’d have a medium or two following you around the map healing, but yeah this is a nice way about the game that’s still really fun
I think it ended up that way do to range issues. It was less about creativity and what actually will get the job done.

I'd like to see heavies become more tank like. Less damage, but more range.
Let's be real, heavy damage is already bad outside of a 10 foot perimeter around the heavy. As someone who really enjoyed heavy season 1, it has been one of my least picked roles (maybe that's just the new mode though).
Yeah I kinda enjoyed having a state where you'd have a duo to help you out healing etc, but the thing is I guess it kinda went out of control from what the devs wanted? I dunno I really enjoyed CB2 in the game but I think that once people started finding the most efficient things, it went away from what they intended to make
to me the heavy just does not feel good anymore, if that is what the intended they got it lol. But basically my team will have to wait for me or hover around me since again heavy is slow and has no mobility. You cant handle a fight alone im assuming
That's a shame to hear, I don't really experience this much as, personally how I play there isn't a need to "rush" or move about to objectives, yes I do agree that when moving around the map off spawn for example, it does feel like you're left behind, but I focus on objectives instead of taking fights as such, but yeah fights alone are definitely harder
heavy goes from absolute carry and abusive (with c4 cringe killing whole squad in 1 throw) to now a fully utility class that need brain to play, now u dont even controll the position of cashout since medium with their demat has full control over it. and many many other reasons, apart from most nerfs ever happens in gaming history that hit the class.
Yeah honestly I actually kind of like the way it is, but I really understand with those players that like focusing on fights and feeling "strong" against others for example. I think that I just personally enjoying playing more "strategic" rather than use bullets to primarily win cashouts.

The concept of the slug shotgun seems so fun, but using the gun itself is so irritating. It’s slow, relatively low dps, you get shredded if you miss literally anything.
Yeah exactly, it's a really cool mechanic to add but once you're against 2/3 players every shot is crucial, especially when you have a slower reload etc etc
Personnal opinion, but way too many "powerpoint" transition or "slideshow" transition my man. Keep it more simple and just let gameplay run in the background or switch without a screen slide. Actually started to make me dizzy at one point lol

I don't like the goo gun meta. It's the same low skill strat that we saw with the nukes in season 1. What I mean by this is the goo gun being able to stop players in their tracks and resetting their interactions. Another thing I've seen heavy players doing is running a very easy build which is the flamethrower with the goo gun. You keep sticking the person in place and burning them and they can't do anything cuz they can't shoot or move. It's dumb and just too high reward for essentially zero risk. Since the start I've been advocating that the flamethrower should not be a weapon and should be a gadget with a refill timer. The rest of the utility of the goo gun is fine. Pretty cool in fact.
Kind of an L take man. I've been playing since closed beta, and I play every class. Nukes were Heavies only chance really against other teams. Heavy has next to no range. Heavies whole role is to establish control of the point. It's brute force, that's why he has the charge and slam and crowd controlling weapons. Heavy is getting nerfed too much and is starting to take away from what makes the game special. To many people are complaining and eventually, they are going to turn this into another forgettable game. This game shines with the different classes and abilities and what the game allows you to do. This game doesn't deserve to be subject to just another FPS like Apex, COD, Valorent, etc. Goo Gun is a great strategy and has a learning curve since the goo just attaches to whatever it pleases and there's an arc to it. Flame thrower has a skill curve as well. Stop complaining about the Heavy class and just learn how to counter it. There were counters to the nukes, quite easy ones actually.
@@M0HN lemme guess, heavy main? My friend, I too have been playing since closed beta 1. If you fail to see how the meta made the game repetitive, then that's on you. There were certain playstyles that 100% guaranteed you the win. And what do you mean heavy has next to no range? Did you use the Lewis gun last season...? Did you team up with other heavies? The fact that there was an imbalance was clear. The fact that heavy got nerfs just goes to show that there were nerfs needed. You contradict your own argument of keeping multiple classes when the only viable class is the heavy. Me and a lot of light mains stopped playing light as a whole because of how useless it was against the 3 stack heavies. Here's a fun fact. I rarely lost a game when me and my friends played all heavies because we just had higher health than literally everyone else in the lobby. It was too easy and too boring. All we had to do was chuck explosive objects at other teams and we got complete team kills in seconds. Too little risk, too high of a reward.
Now at least things seem more balanced. Taking down a heavy requires you to outplay them but it is possible now.
When I say I don't like the goo gun meta, I gave the reasons for it. All you did was whine cuz you didn't like my point of view and grouped me in with the people I hate, just because you didn't like what I had to say. If the game becomes repetitive and too annoying, people are gonna leave. I've stuck with this game when player counts reached below 13K. If you want to make an argument, bring your points. Not "Oh it wasn't too bad! It could've easily been countered!".

Playing from closed beta l, also playing when there was nobody playing. I was top 2000 players in the world at one point. Let's be honest man, triple stacking any class is easy if you play to the strengths of the class. I've been a triple stack heavy losing to a triple stack of light BECAUSE they play to their strengths. I play every class, and I've countered every class, Including the nukes. Nukes are an intentional feature of the game. It's essentially the whole role of the Heavy class: Establish Control. I agree. It needed a nerf, but not out right removed. It didn't need damage nerf, lose a c4, and add weight. It could have been one of those, maybe even 2 of those.
I play Light and Medium as well. Light was VASTLY overpowered when the Stun Gun was introduced, and you're lying to yourself if you don't think so. Even after the nerf to the stun gun, it's still strong.
I play Heavy more than other classes because my friends enjoy playing Medium and Light. I, as a heavy, need to OUTPLAY the much smaller and lighter classes. The explosives made it easier, yes, but not guaranteed kills. Now the explosives are nerfed into the ground that Heavy had to definitely outplay every other character with the only help the heavy has is the Mesh Sheild and Dome Sheild. Heavy has next to NO range, especially compared to the light sniper and the Medium scar and akm. Sure. The Lewis Gun and M60 can tap fire and just grief from a distance but stands no chance in a long range engagement.
Homie it's an L take to want anything in the game removed. I don't agree with Recon Sense being removed. I hated it, I never used it, but it was a part of the game.
Maybe you're right, maybe the flamethrower needs to be a special ability. Maybe the Stun Gun should be a special ability. Maybe the APS turret should be a special ability
I play as every class and I learned how to counter every class. I learned how to counter nukes, Stun guns, turret/aps turret, (there was no counter to recon sense really).
I also never said that the game should be the same, cause I don't want the game to be stagnant either. But when people cry and whine and get things removed or nerfed into the ground, it drives players away all the same. I want this game to prosper.

M60 sucks against good players , the Lewis nerf was huge it had almost no recoil now the recoil is crazy , but is the only decent weapon right now for heavy
Hmm strange I’ve been seeing people use it even in top ranked matches, maybe I’m looking at old matches or something but it looks to me as both of them are good, I just like the M60 because of fire-rate and more bullets

Whaaat? No invis taser crutch, the community would never. Lights are the reason the numbers have dropped and are continuing to drop, nobody wants to play against lights, doesn't matter if they're sniping in powershift or cheesing invis taser in other modes they're 100% killing the game. Balance is scewed toward lights, the only way to counter them is with another light which just doesn't make sense.

@@THiiXY no I’m not talking about your strat in this video. Just saying we saw a huge drop in player count since season 2 cuz it sucks. Same exact meta as last season plus you can’t even see your progress in ranked
Ohhh okay yeah I'm trying to change up the meta because I agree that shields and heals are pretty boring the entire time, makes fights exhausting. Also ranked progress will be added back in for Season 3 I think, it's only temporary because they are adjusting the scoring system, and don't want to show it because it's not final. They did a good talk on their TH-cam channel about it
“Meta’s” ruin this game, talk my games too seriously. Always thinking competitively, leave that to cod and any other game. Just have fun and mix and match abilities and goof around. That’s the best point of the game is when you aren’t sweating or anything it’s crazy and fun
Yeah that’s why I made this build sort of like a “meta breaker” I know I titled it as a meta for example but when you break this apart it really is just a fun way of playing the game people might not have thought of, whilst at the same time being very effective. Thanks for watching!

I just wanted to show people a fun different way of playing ranked, which anyone is allowed to give an opinion / teaching on, no one is qualified of course, but how does me teaching newer players ruin the game? Especially when this isn't a "shield/heal/health" meta video? Thanks, just actually curious :)
