However I managed to pick up a few tips along the way that I wish I applied earlier on, but will save you guys a lot of stress and frustration. Thank you! You know I always assumed it was the kids that were short tempered, but after solo queing there are more than a few adults that needed to hear those tips.
Another small tip that could save you a few seconds or minutes is try to make it as hard as you can to reach the cashout, if an enemy can just zip up to your cashout, it could lead to ambushes, so check your surroundings and try and plan out where the enemies could come from and plant explosives, I've gotten alot of kills by placing explosives on the stairs where I think an enemy could come from
Hella feel you on the anxiety from using mic dude. Ive had so many bad experiences in other games where teammates are super toxic and rude, basically do nothing but talk crap ended up ruining online gaming for me for years and id always just mute the entire team which defeats the purpose of a teambased game. However lately ive been having good times playing with randos on pubg or the finals and actually coming out if it with friends

As a lad who has 300+ hours in the game, I can totally agree with this. Psychology has literally shown that happier people perform better, so go figure when you make your team and yourself calm and happy you’ll perform better. 10/10 video, still applicable in season 3 ranked.
this is unironically a very informative video. i learned alot of the mentioned tips by just playing the game for 200h+, but i can imagine that a new/not so good player can really learn and benefit from these tips. 🐐
Thanks man, it was the same for me. I wish I knew these tips when I started the grind. It would of made it a lot easier and a lot less stressful. Hopefully next season they make some matchmaking changes, that’ll make my, “expect the worst and hope for the best” tip irrelevant (in terms of ranked matchmaking) lol.

That may be the case more times than not and tbh it is looking like that this season. However on the plus side, the majority of the time they will be listening in silence. jokes on you, voice chat is bugged for many people and just outright doesn't function a lot of the time. this is both for outgoing and incoming voice chat, they may just not be able to hear you even if they have voice chat enabled.

On top 27: your teammate being all the way over there without communicating is their mistake but you knowing they're not communicating and you go in without noticing they're off in lala land is your mistake. That's the nature of soloing team based games, your teammates are also an obstacle
That is also true. The hardest thing about Solo Queing is to take every variable and possibility into consideration. Literally forcing the player to assume the worst and hope for the best.
Best tip was to treat ranked as a regular match, that will definitely be way more fun and entertaining than just playing for the win. The latter leading to insults, anger, disappointment, etc etc. So yea, enjoy videogames! 😊
Definitely is, sometimes I feel people forget to enjoy the game that they are playing. Which leads to making each loss feel that much worse, instead of enjoying the time spent playing. Thanks for watching!
Would you be able to elaborate on tip 9? It seems glossed over, especially when the 2 surrounding tips go into detail; 8: Learn how to place the APS turret, like putting it in front of you so you're not in any blast radius 9: Learn how to place the mesh shield. 10: The glitch grenade combo is xyxy and these are the advantages it provides
Wouldn’t you say focusing 100% on one class is better then changing it up? Bruce lee had a quote that had to do with this; "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times."
I absolutely love that quote and it can be strongly applied with a pre-arranged coordinated team. However when solo queing, having the ability to be flexible is very important, because you never will know which class your teammate is going to pick until you are in the pre-game lobby. You need to be essentially, shapeless like water. ;)

The dagger is op. Back stabbing with the special attack 1 shots everyone but the heavy. But 1 normal attack after the initial backstab will finish them.
i have another tip, never rush stealing a cashout, unless it is viable. What you can do, is forcing one of the enemies show itself up by trying to steal the cashout then kill it

I respectfully agree to disagree, if you are solo queing there is no guarantee that your teammates will have any coordination with you. That is why running with defib is necessary, it will instantly get your teammates back into the fight if they are downed. Which drastically increases your chances of winning an engagement, stealing, or defending.

Im looking to find a squad to grind and get diamond with im a bronze 1 cause my team keeps throwing and I cant carry each time, im not bad im better than average but with the right team I know I can reach diamond
A lot of these tips wont really work for me as i run solo in oce. Oce players can never get into tournaments so i play on north american servers. when i do this i dont have good ping and because i am playing on my school laptop, i get around 30 FPS and 50 FPS when in the loading screen.

Just played few games, in 1st 2 Meds without defibs and heals, in 2nd guy just left, other games people don't know what to do, playing with open mic with huge echo fighting like in deathmatch. This is a disaster, i don't want to play this game anymore... I have a lot of friends but they don't play this shit, some of them lost last nerves in here and don't want to come back. Few people play only power shift and thats it.
It’s real amusing because if you so as much as bring up the question of meta viability in the sub Reddit you will get downvoted to hell with players arguing that charge n slam is competitively viable.

All these TH-camrs make solo que ranked look so easy. Whenever I play, even with friends, we get pushed by at least 2 other teams no matter where we go. These TH-camrs must have a vpn they make it look so easy
Game requires speed and precision, something a lot of gamers lack. If you enjoy the game, you’ll keep playing and working on it- if you’re getting proper flow state training you’ll improve in only a few months and notice your actions per minute and precision rise.
This is all meta stuff. Maybe I'm just above average but I've won silver tournaments solo as a sledgehammer heavy with only one sniper light as a teammate. He got downs, but I had to clear rooms and keep the cash out, and still won.

Just played few games, in 1st 2 Meds without defibs and heals, in 2nd guy just left, other games people don't know what to do, playing with open mic with huge echo fighting like in deathmatch. This is a disaster, i don't want to play this game anymore... I have a lot of friends but they don't play this shit, some of them lost last nerves in here and don't want to come back. Few people play only power shift and thats it.

All these TH-camrs make solo que ranked look so easy. Whenever I play, even with friends, we get pushed by at least 2 other teams no matter where we go. These TH-camrs must have a vpn they make it look so easy

This is all meta stuff. Maybe I'm just above average but I've won silver tournaments solo as a sledgehammer heavy with only one sniper light as a teammate. He got downs, but I had to clear rooms and keep the cash out, and still won.
