The way battlefield games are development are on another level. Call of duty is an arcade shooter. Battlefield is not. The game mechanics are easy on call of duty. The only time battlefield has gone on a tangent has been on bf2042. But the previous games have way better textures. The way everything is designed looks alot more realistic. Look at halo. Halo 4 looked alot more realistic but the last halo game looked more arcade made and it really doesn't look better

All the Battlefield games are spot on. I have loved the progression from the first Bad Company games. I really enjoyed Hardline too. BF1 was alright. BFV should have been called BFWWII. 2042 is good but I understand why people do not like it. If I could only play one Battlefield game it would be number 4. All the maps are awesome, and it has great DLC. The only FPS you'll need. I'd like to see a really futuristic version next. Maybe in space and other planets. Maybe a race of aliens to play as. Or perhaps a medieval Battlefield.
My only issue playing this on PC in 2023, is that hacking is rife, and the cheaters are better at hiding their cheats. Most rounds end with players having a consistent 50:1 kills:deaths which was unthinkable back in the day. There are also plenty of hack friendly servers now, so not worth playing, as every round has become cheater vs cheater, especially when they're in a jet or heli.

Buy this one. When I bought bf1, I played for like 3 hours and then while I was playing I realized I wanted to go back to bf4... Same with bf5 and 2042. Hardline was good in my opinion, it felt like a dlc for BF4, similar shooting, different maps and game modes. If you liked that you'll like bf4
I deleted BF42 and only play BF4 on PS5 all the time, how do you have your team members so only your squad makes them appear green? For me they all appear light blue? So under what setting and where exactly

I had this game and I didn't like it because the pixels were just ruining the gameplay or it was just my internet service provider. A lagging connection couldn't keep up with the 60fps multiplayer gameplay. And need I mention there's an EA building here, somewhere in Burnaby, BC.
Im old school and these new consoles that make you download stuff suck ive got a ps4 i guess im just not a hardcore gamer by todays standards i miss putting the game in and just playing

BF4 and BF1 still have a lot of full 64 players servers with lots of people in queue, so they are still pretty much alive
