I'm also a corporate worker and I've been working 24/7 for the past seven years. The issue of overwork stress and harshness is a big concern that our government isn't addressing adequately due to the weak labor laws. I'd like to say a big thank you for bringing this issue to light 👍🏻👏🏻
As aptly brought out in the video, rules for time frame and compensation towards working hours of an employee should be same. There’s no way than to bring this change for employment contentment. What all other things do you recommend to make effective and efficient service environment, not only in India but globally?
Even family does not understand the issues we all face ! Bosses have unrealistic expectations and they give us bad ratings if any of us try to bring it up.
An employee is putting in hard work to ensure the well-being of his family, as he needs to cover his children's education expenses, taxes, and monthly medical insurance payments and other installment.
College dont teach labor laws to students HR dont teach labor laws to freshers or employees. Corporate policies are worst than schools and college raggings. Bit but but inner streanth Jai Namo tai
Just allow Work From Home a choice! Problem solved. I myself love to work and finish all my tasks on a daily basis but when office asks me to come to the office and work, I miss my family , dog, can't face people at office as an introvert and travel 4 hours a day which can be put into production. If anyone reading this, kindly make WFH a choice of the employee and not the employer. If they don't perform you can alway provide options to work from office or leave the company. Not like team is not performing well so everyone needs to work from office.
Sir. IT employees labour laws ke under aate bhi hai kya? Agar ate to aise din nahi dekhna pdhta. Middle class salary person are only tax cows for government. They don't give a damn, look how tax amma sitharaman reacted to this death.
Yes, it's a sad state as of now but things are gradually improving and will subsequently improve. And yes, every employment irrespective of trade and business are governed by the labour laws.

Govt not taking any action because if they put stringent laws MNCs won't outsource jobs here. Then govt can't squeeze tax out of employees.
Government is taking action. Have faith and patience, things will gradually improve.
Saab, this is the very informative and motivative video 😊
Thank you for the video sir
Stress at workplaces has been such a regular thing now- people blame the employees without even thinking what they are going through.
Great 👍 Col Shivender.
Your views on this truly gives us new perspective. Without synergy most of the energy will be lost to the friction.
Thankyou for watching!
Anyone knows that PSU banks don't have fixed working hours for their staff except (clerical staff). They can even keep lady staff till 4am in morning

Manager ko saja hona chahiye

Reason for exploitation. But things will gradually improve.

Should every degree college teach employment laws with professional degrees? I think that would be a wonderful start, what do you say?
Colleges should also teach about different types of job related issues and even handling of bribes and corruption, about bad bosses.
Great topic for developing nation. We can’t b like China where 2 generation have perished due to greed of some
EY was not even registered with labour department. Labour minister must also be prosecuted.
Labour Ministry has taken the cognizance and yes EY is registered with the Labour Department.
Every software engineer is not an engineer but a factory labourer as per factories act.

No no why? Fix our shift time and anything above is OT. Why should we give tax and settle for nonsense all the time.
I agree
That is what it is: Time Frame, Social Energy & Human Limitation.
Right 👍🏻 sir
