I remember the satanic panic of the 80s my mother gave me grief about playing dungeons and dragons

Kids' addiction to video games is nothing compared to their addiction to their smartphones today.

The violent video game panic wasn't until the early 90s when Mortal Kombat and Doom came out. In the 80s it was more about the arcades themselves being seedy and dangerous.

It’s not such a bad idea for parents to inspect your child’s Halloween candy. There are weirdos who do spike candy with bad stuff.

There really aren't. Nobody is wasting perfectly good drugs on halloween candy for random kids.

There's never been a case where razor blade has been found in candy

The western journal has an article about a 11 year old girl who was found trying to kill a baby after watching Roblox video games. So don’t just blow this stuff off.

Video games and violence wasn't really a thing until the 90s.
But the rest are pretty much gospel. I remember my church had a big thing about the dangers of rock music and demonic possession.
They even cited Madonna who said "I think crucifixes are sexy. Because they show a naked man". But the don't actually and The Boss got dragged too. Because his lyrics to I'm on fire "hey little girl, is your daddy home? ".
Along with the other garbage about subliminal messaging and playing music backwards.
Subliminal messaging was another big 80s craze

People still think that about cellphones, notice the number of people who talk on their phones without holding it up to their ear? Just hold it in front of them, or like their holding a piece of pizza

Brumura triangle was famous in the 1960s

Giving the Bermuda triangle to the 80s is almost as absurd. As believing in the Bermuda triangle mystery itself.
People have been superstitious about the Bermuda triangle from pre European discovery of the America's, to today. It's true we had the superstition then but so has every other decade in American history

      Your comment is ambiguous.
I can’t tell if you’re saying weird that people believe in Trump, or if you’re trying to say go Trump.
