One thing I love about Dark Souls bosses is how they actually feel like they are trying to kill you. Some games make bosses feel like you are the threat in the situation
For some strange reason some of the bosses like these gudyr things feel somewhat alive not just AI idk why maybe it's the animations and movement and the aggressive behavior that makes them that way. I mean they are not just sitting around waiting to be attacked to progress to the next phase like in other games they just assault you constantly
@@terskataneli6457 exactly a perfect way to explain it is if a 21 year old grown man was fighting a 5 year old with a stick. One has the intimidation, and size factor. 21 year old should be going ham on the lil man no stopping.
@@terskataneli6457 thats what I love about them. Elden Ring's are my favorite yet.

Welcome to Dark Souls Pal :)
Welcome to the Soulsborne universe.
The finishing blow on the Soul of Cinder is so cinematic: no healing items, near death after a grab attack, dodge his killing blow as you get up, deliver the final attack.
his swordmanship are the best ever! i could say
+thekingghidorah93 i finished off multiple bosses, including Soul of Cinder, using the Weapon Art of Demons Greataxe, it was SO satisfying.
I love that axe, and does decent damage considering so many bosses are resistant to fire.
+thekingghidorah93 hard reads
In no other game series have I ever wished to know all about the lore of the bosses. Such great designs. Although... I can't be the only one who was disappointed with Yhorm's actual size as compared to the opening cinematic.
yea, I'm pretty disappointed as well...at first when I killed him I didn't know that that was him because he was so short and different looking lol
+Shaina Erika Indeed. It is a real shame. i really thought that Yhorm´s size was like the Wyvern Dragon or even bigger.. and not definetly a Four hits with the special ability instakill. that was pretty lame.
Francisco Coral yea, that size would be so much better and more like the opening.
+Francisco Coral Maybe if the dlc includes time travel like the original we could fight a younger and maybe more exciting Yhorm
i watched all the lore videos and about 48 hours of gameplay and got the game 2 days ago and just got to aldrich, get it dude
Abyss Watchers is just.. amazing.. absolutely amazing..
indeed
MctrashGAMES meh
There was a army of them imagine if they made is fight them all
MctrashGAMES died at least 35 times to abyss watchers on my first play through, now, after going back to the game, beating it 5 more times, I haven’t lost once to those lord of cinder bastards, funny what dark souls does to ya
but hardest and strongest is he soul of cinders
Abyss Watcher fight was pretty epic
hell yea
+Che Wangia I liked how he/they had a lot of the same moves that Artorias had.
+Klaw Schäfer and if u remember from Lady Marie dark souls 2 dlc
+Marko Martic You mean from Bloodborne.
+Klaw Schäfer They were his pupils and when the disaster in the abyss happened, they joined forces to make sure it would never happen again
27:20 I love how you set that scene up. Sword drawn, both of you slowly closing in on each other and then WOOSH BAM! You used that wind slash!
nameless king is so fucking badass, soul of cinder too
+XxSweGmesteRxX 133769420 Not a Dark Souls boss, but Gherman from Bloodborne was another final boss that actually delivered
+XxSweGmesteRxX 133769420 Gwyn was actually an extremely good boss if you didn't cheese him.
+Callum Jewell He was okay for me. Everything after o+s was a let down in ds1 in my opinion
Ryan Benkert Did you try the DLC?
+Callum Jewell Oh yeah I was excluding that lol. Dlc was great
Abyss Watchers is definitely one my favorite fights in DS3. The music and the grand feel of the battle just gives me goosebumps, honestly.
Wolnir is my favorite boss death in DS3, because for something as big and tough as him, for him to get dragged back towards darkness, with obvious fear in his sockets, it makes you wonder. Even wolnir, who is arguably the biggest boss in the series... what could make him scared to the point where he clings to the light so desparetly?

All the bosses actually look really unique and cool. Especially that final boss- the way the music transitions to reflect the change in moveset is just awesome.
dude I love the music they play for every boss
Indus gunder, deconstruction of the deep, abyss watchers, pontiff sulyvnee,Aldrich, lrian, nameless king, and soul of cinder are the bosses that have cool music
Motoi Sakuraba the master
I actually find the Dancer of the Boreal Valley very beautiful and elegant. Almost feel bad for killing it... So pretty.
I wish it would die and burn. It's the only boss I struggle with because I have a hard time reading it.
Dancer of the boreal valley were cool but not beautiful don' t get shit confused nigga
Don't Kick The Children also thicc
Still not as thicc as Vordt.
Don't Kick The Children It’s gross as hell behind the armor
Ok, when I first saw the Soul of Cinder, I thought it was lame. Oh, just another guy with sword, Gwyn 2.0. Then he started switching fighting styles on the fly and I was like duuuuuude. It's the DS1 Player character maxed out to shit! This is *awesome*.
+Sperium3000
And then he enters phase two and the old Gwyn theme starts in out of nowhere and it's like oh shit
Its you but cooler
@@lovely-0009 Isn't the soul of cinder cannonically the chosen undead from DS1 who linked the fire after killing Gwyn? That would explain the cinder part: he is the link for the flame.
@@k0da.strive36 lol you replied to a 2 year old post? Gg
And yeah I believe so. It happens to have been 2 years since I played it. : ^)
Ardent the soul of cinder is canonically everyone who has ever linked to the flames so it could be the protagonists from DS1 and 2
I recently finished this a new game in this game. It was my first ever souls experience and I loved every second of it. I beat every boss in the main game and both dlcs. I love the lore of this game and everything about it appeals to me in some way. I’m really looking forward to starting a new game + and starting all over again. For anyone who’s unsure about this game whether you want to get it or not and you somehow stumbled upon this video, I highly recommend this series of games to anyone. You may find it hard at first as I did with Dark souls 1 and 2 and 3 and Bloodborne but you get used to the difficulty and you will get better at the game and you will fall in love with the game, just chill out and have fun. That’s all for now.
*Fight with King of Storms begins*
This is one cool boss and that's one cool ass dragon. Rider is annoying though.
*Kills dragon-bird-thing*

+TheHappy_P0tat0 close.
+TheHappy_P0tat0 spoilers maybe
its gwyn man, the crown and everything give it away. also its eluded lord of cinder is the player character from the first game. thats why he has the souls of all 3 lords (soul of the lords)
UndeadAquarius It's Gwyn's First born.
TheHappy_P0tat0 that would make more sense seeing as how the final boss has the 3 souls. thanks man.
UndeadAquarius The final boss is the first Chosen Undead.
This game is a complete piece of art. Every corner, every place, every enemy it's meticulously placed and designed. Not even one single asset has been reused anywhere in the game. All areas have unique assets and enemies. All bosses have an exquisite design and animations. I know you don't want me to say this, but if this was an MMO, it would be clearly the best MMO ever created. But maybe turning this game into an MMO would ruin it for good. Thank you FROM Software for this piece of art.
+Amphysvena Corporation Yes its definitely a piece of art but i have to disagree on creatures and bosses part, some creatures have their very own large version or simply wielding different weapons with same skin, not trying to be nit picking but its still a model reused though. Also i would prefer bosses to have more skills set rather than repeating a few patterns or a quicker version when health dropped below 50%, need not to say bosses who simply summoned a doppelganger to do the same things over and over PLUS overwhelming HP. Not 100% unique bt out of 10 i rate it 80.
+Problem Mo You have to admit that these bosses are some of the most grand and exciting fights in the series
Laughs at the bosses and assets part*

For some reason I think the Dancer of the boreal valley is my favorite boss visually, something about her creepy and eerie walking and the vale I just love it.
the nameless king and thhe king of the storm was my favorite
+Swedish Joey Personally i struggled the most with Abyss Watchers... Dodging them and no riposte or parrying. Or shield. Try that. lol
Josh Edwards I'm stuck at them rn
I just wish some of the bosses learned to walk on their feet. I feel Lorian's fight would have more impact if he stood up after his brother hopped on his back. It'd kind of be like Ludwig from Bloodborne.
it's mostly because she moves like a dancer, while everyone else moves like a fighter. she keeps her center of gravity very level.
That abyss watchers fight was intense
+Blake Taylor Ikr!
The abyss watchers it's easy if your good at parrying
*I REFUSE TO LOSE TO ANIME*
-my response to getting kebabed by these guys multiple times in a row during my first encounter with them.
Ghost Chivero bro he means the moves he did was clean ofc he’s easy no one said he was difficult to fight
I never parried them I just had to dodge for my life
I know Yhorm the Giant should have been tougher. but look at it logically he created two swords to kill him because he knew eventually he would go insane and turn into a mindless creature of bloodlust.
no dude just no thats not why
Late but that is literally the canon explanation
@@MrKillerman47 that's not true. He also didn't create the swords. He had them but gave one to his subjects (i forgot why) and one to his friend, the onion knight (I forgot his name). The reason he did this was because he told his friend that if he were to reject his duty (being a Lord of cinder and rekindling the flame), the knight should kill him. That's why when you do his quest he says "Yhorm old friend" and "I have a promise to keep." He didn't kill anyone at least intentionally, the corpses in his throne room are the ones of his subjects when they were all burned because yhorm tried to rekindle the first flame to estinguish the chaos flame. There's way more about yhorm, I just don't really feel like talking about it but some brief summaries are he was a king that his people didn't like and he lost someone which is why he ditched his shield but I would recommend looking up videos on him. He's a really interesting character, and one you will feel bad for.
The onion Knight is Siegfried

Reasons Dark Souls 3 bosses are some of the best in gaming history:
-They are challenging, but fair, which means you feel absolutely thrilled when you beat them, rather than shrug them off like if they were a slightly more powerful enemy.
-They have amazing design. Dragons, knights, sorcerers, demons...

Did anyone else experience the pain of over-rolling? Especially in soul of cinger and nameless king when you know an attack is coming that slightly homes into you and the boss is telegraphing it (like an overhead attack) so you roll around the boss to avoid it but you are afraid of the slight homing so you roll a little too much and you roll into the attack from the other side 🤦♀️
Hollow Knight has the best 2D boss fights. Dark souls has the best 3D boss fights.

The most epic ones are Soul of Cinder, Dancer of the Boreal Valley, Nameless King and Pontiff Sulyvahn. But, well.. fuck it ! They are all fucking epic. Dark Souls 3 is the best Soulsborne game and in my opinion the best game ever made.
Yeah, I'm sure pvp is loads of fun huh?
I accidentally skipped the deacons boss and fought the abyss watchers first lmao
+michael watase Nothing wrong with that
+michael watase I think you are actually supposed to do that, you dont need to fight the deacons until Irithyll of the Borat Valley, where their doll is required to pass the bridge.
Mehdi Ennaji koo
michael watase If anything you did a harder area sooner so you should have an easier time now with better equipment. For example, you can go to lothric castle straight away which is early game->late game for great weapons and other things.

Nameless King, Dancer of the Boreal Valley, the Abyss Watcher, Lothric and Lorien. This game has some of the most fun bosses in the series

17:53 You got combo'd real hard by that abyss watcher
The Nameless King is insanely powerful and magical -- I'm surprised he isn't an alternate final boss!
this solo sorc I summoned tossed his dragon around and you a evacuationer on him and killed him in less than 20 seconds...then the namless king 30 seconds later. And people said magic got a huge nerf, lmao yea right
+Cody Tebbetts *used* a executioner
just lightning your weapon and you will be fine.(Also use lothric knight full set if you Knight class bc that set have high lightning resistance)
17:54 that three hit combo was cool lol
Dark Souls 3 has the hardest bossess of all by FAR. Hardest boss for me was Lothric Younger Prince.
with the exception of several bosses having Adds, or fighting duplicates of the boss at the same time, and maybe 2 bosses being kind of "Meh" in design, the bosses in this game are staggeringly amazing.
Even the bosses that are reminiscent of old ones, or ones from DS2, are done so incredibly well, that its as if Miyazaki looked at the DS2 bosses like Congregation, and Ancient Dragon, and said to Tanimura "THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT TANIMURA!!!!" and created Nameless King and Deacons in response.
Though, from what i said earlier, i found Deacons and Crystal Sage to be the weaker links of what is mostly a fantastic boss roster, i just dont enjoy fights where i have to fight a bunch of enemies at once, they are the Congregation and Pinwheel of DS3, but at the same time they are fought really early in the game, and they are still designed well, becaues they teach new people to be observant while having to deal with the pressure of having to handle multiple attacks through a fight, despite being unenjoyable to fight for me, they were still okay bosses.
You could argue that Ancient Wyvern isnt much of a boss, BUT im glad it was added to the game, we havent had a boss encounter where you have to scale large environments looking for a way to kill a boss before, unless you count Dragon God from Demons Souls, but Wyvern easily takes the gold for this type of encounter, plus it was a hilarious throwback to previous titles where we had tough dragons to fight, and we get the satisfaction of one-shotting something colossal.
28:00 Stormruler?!?!?! From Demon's Souls?!?! Nice throwback!

If you can handle a challenge, then give it a try. It's the equivalent of reading a book upside down through a telescope in another dimension.
Jake Conley lol that's sounds complicated
High lord Walnir genuinely terrifies me. Like, I love this design with a passion but holy shit, in a void like area and the only light are its bracelets while fighting this abomination is frightening. Absolutely amazing
Lothric and Lorian was he hardest fight for me. Second hardest Nameless King, mainly because of the camera angle. His second form is much easier than the first one.
5:08
manhood destroyed
That is the wrong time the time was 5:38
Am i the only one who yelled
"HES THE POPE" when the deacons went into their second phase?
Lmao saaaame, I just defeated them today and so far they're my favorite boss, like a freaking legion of priests who then fight to protect their evil pope, that would have never crossed my mind
dragonslayer armour, champion gundyr and abyss watchers are my favourite
+Terra Gamer mine is clearly the nameless king
King Kennedy nameless king is overrated and he's not even that difficult.
Furuta _ he is easy his second stage you can cheese with a crossbow he wont chase you
The battle music @ 49:31 against Lorian the elder prince with his brother Lothrie is #epic...Damn!!
My favorite battle
i watched the whole thing good job on beating all bosses flawless ;D
Dont you love how the sounds coordinate with the hits at 1:19:23?
Light da bonfires, LIGHT THEM ALL!
the deacons of the deep is my favorite

The final Sin I just like the music/ ambiance of the fight. something about it just gives me the chills
Same
I find that fight to be the most nerve-wrecking because I get panicky fighting multiple things at once. Plus they look scary as fuck in groups lol
Man, your skills are VERY GOOD! Whats your amor set? And what is the upgrade of your sword?
Very good video! Cheers :D
I loved your gameplay dude it was so epic, I got it for my switch the difference from dark soul 1 to now. I love that old school feeling but I get those scary don’t wanna die at all with 2 & 3😂they just so epic
What weapon are you using at 28:30 on Yhorm The Giant.
+Kyle McDermott If you haven't found out yet, then it is the storm ruler greatsword, you can pick it up inside the boss room and use it on Yhorm to take him out pretty easily.

@@megagreatgodlywhiteshark2929 I Found This But Its An Early Game Weapon
Zweihander
Weapon Type: Ultra Greatsword
Requirements: 19 Strength, 11 Dexterity
Primary Bonus Attribute: Strength
Infusion: Available
Location: Greirat at Firelink Shrine. Requires you to find him in Undead Settlement to have him join you in Firelink Shrine. Then, you must bring him a Loretta’s Bone so that he can scavenge for new items. One of those new items will be the Zweihander, which you can buy from him for 6,000 souls.
Details: The Zweihander is a great option for players who like the Claymore but want something with some extra power behind it. The Zweihander is one of the first Ultra Greatswords you can acquire, allowing you to start hitting enemies with big, decisive blows early into your adventure. It can be infused and buffed, making it an attractive option even when compared to the game’s rarest greatswords.
