Who can look and sound that good at 55??? Chante Moore captivated me with her voice at 11 years old. I listened to her TAPE 😂 so much it broke. She is one of the best vocalist of all time! I wish she would have gotten the recognition and success she deserved.

I agree, I also wish she would do more music like this that show the beauty of her voice, I haven't found anything like that live on her discography...
I needed to hear it. Was hit by a car drag racing on 12/19/22. He was clocked by a helicopter hitting me at 140 mph and I lived to tell about it I stayed in the hospital almost 6 weeks and went home 2/1/23. I had multiple fractures..my face , 6 ribs my upper arm, and my back. Had surgery on my arm ..60 staples were removed from my arm, my lungs colasped during my back surgery and I coded. Was brought back and had to have 2 chest tubes inserted and laid on my back for about 2 weeks before they could redo the surgery. I now have rods in my back for life. My hospital bill was approx 800,000 k Which God has paid off.. I am at home recuperating 6 weeks now getting stronger . I can walk again slowly but surely God is going to restore me. The boy that hit me was 20. He had no insurance. I learned that he died around valentines day. He had no insurance but guess what I got my life and I can continue to raise my boys. It's gonna be alright 👍

When Chante’ hit those high notes, it took you somewhere, you switched into preaching/ testimony mode, you actually got lost in the Spirit realm and forgot to come back into your earthly body. Jaron, you blessed me. You couldn't get off of "it's going to be alright" because you were speaking to me. I just walked in the door and saw this analysis on my home screen from only an hour ago. I am so happy I clicked on it. You brought me to tears with your encouraging words. My husband was murdered in 2021 and I'm still grieving. I can name over 100 things that went wrong for me and my children that day, but despite all that went wrong, it's going to be alright.
I am SO VERY SORRY for your loss . I lost my boyfriend back in 2020 & I'm still grieving... So I can only imagine losing a husband that you also had a family w/ . They only have room for a limited number of beautiful black women who can sing. Yet they have more than enough room for mediocre singers at best like Katie Perry, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Jessica Simpson and others like them.
I think she was too classy. She was covered up and classy and didnt use sex to sell. Sadly thats the world we live in.
Til this day I’m beyond baffled that she didn’t become the megastar she truly is. I think she had poor representation. At her height she should’ve propelled into world stardom but she fizzled. I’m still upset by it.

And I still feel like she has some of the best whistle tones in the game. They sound so pure. I know Mariah is known for them, but I've always preferred Chante's timbre when she's in that register. She can make them sound angelic without reverb.

I promise she never gets it wrong. Her voice has soothed me since ‘92… just perfection. Every time. Those whistles are incredibly warm and not as piercing as it is by some. It is just chefs kiss.
When she went into her head voice/whistle tone i closed my eyes and imagined a beautiful bird expanding its wings and taking flight. "Its alright" brought a tear to my eye. That performance was a master class!
