A bit of context, the soul train awards promotes singers from past decade. Ms Moores Songs are from the late 8os early 90s. She is nearly 60.
Famous Whistle Note Singers: Minnie Riperton, Mariah Carey, Chanté Moore, Shanice, and Ariana Grande.
Chante's whistle note is a little stronger than Mariah's. She did one of Minnie's song's "Inside My Love" which has a very long whistle note in it

@@markmenez4097They said stronger, not higher, and she's actually done both. It doesn't take away from how great Mariah is, but Chante *does* have more control in her whistle register. Chante is phenomenal. Mariah is also phenomenal. Both ladies can do what most other people can't and have aged beautifully.

@@williame.7982 actually no one really has shown more control than Mariah in whistle register up to this day. Mariah has legit done just abt EVERYTHING in that register. She’s done staccato, appoggiatures, trills, transitions, cries, etc ALL in that register, she’s also been capable of doing different types of vibrato and riffs on it and even talk in that register, AND she can change the dynamics and volume of it. Lastly she can also change the texture, she’s done polyphonic whistles, clear and strong whistle notes and she can imitate things like birds, electric guitars, pianos, violins, etc. not only that but Mariah’s also gone higher AND lower in whistle register than chante. Yall need to stop with this misinformation, chantes one of the BEST, but to say she has more control than Mariah herself is a reach💀

Hi Guys, you are amazing with your work! To be honest, being from Europe, I watch mostly Eurovision videos. So, recently I was thinking that you should do some more artists from Europe, not only Eurovision. And I found the best singer to propose: Stromae. Maybe you heard for him, but more probably not XD He is a Belgian singer that sings in French (French, Dutch and German are official languages of Belgium). He is extremely popular, I guess also globally. His name is a wordplay of the word Mae-stro -> Stro-mae.
Also, maybe it would be the best to watch videos and songs with the translations, since some of them are very deep and emotional topics, so missing that would not be the best:

Mariah doesn’t have to move over for anyone. This isn’t a competition and if it was, Mariah would still be on top. 33 plus years of using her whistle register in ways that’s never been done..her whistles aren’t linear. She is agile and fluid and uses her whistles more impressively than anyone in music. She doesn’t just whistle to whistle and has range even in that register. That’s what sets her apart from those who have utilized the whistle before and after her. Imagine being the standard so long that someone decides to weirdly bring you up on someone else reaction video. Go buy Chante’s music instead of dismissing the artistry of Mariah/other artists and maybe she’d be closer to the top than bottom where she’s been for decades.
