- This is a brief interview with Daniel that aired on Entertainment Tonight shortly before The Last of The Mohicans was released in 1992. Daniel discusses the Native Americans who were involved in the making of the film, and what he hopes audiences take away from it. I have watched The Last of the Mohicans for over 100 times! It’s the most amazing portrait of it’s kind! I live between Fort William Henry,and Fort Edward. He is a method actor,and brings life into every thing he does brilliantly!

i know i didn't think he was that hot in the age of innocence - but here - omg i love him. my favorite scene from the movie was shown in the background here - the scene where duncan is like "there's a war going on how is it that you are going west?" and Nathaniel turns around and says "well you face north and then real sudden like turn left" - favorite line hands down - hilarious

Funny thing is Mohicans are still about, they didn't in fact die out,But I still like the film.
I really liked the native American, I think he was quite hot and I always cry when he n Alice die.

He's quite seductive, once you listen to him you get trapped into his charm and intelligence. Also he's good looking but he doesn't put any efforts to look sharp.

Eric (Uncas) was screwed over in this movie. Many of his parts were cut out, even when he kisses Alice in the cave.
Eric didn't succeed in his career, with all the attention going to Daniel, and Eric suffered abuse in his life because of his being indian
West Studi has been an outstanding actor, and he has been undermined in so many performances, with shitty pay. Hollywood is filled with racists, that lock doors of opportunity

I agree 100% He's been very successful in his career. Mostly I'm Canada! America does not respect Native actors as they should, nor does Hollywood give them any recognition. But I've watched quite a few of his movies and TV shows. He is an incredibly good actor. It's Hollywood's loss. Wes Studi, Graham Green are in just about every film that calls for Natives. But they continually over looked. Graham Green should have won the Oscar for his role as Kicking Bird in Dances With Wolves. But it went to the woman who played Stands With Fist. I thought she over acted. It's embarrassing how racist Hollywood is.
