As a Yankee fan I always dreaded David Ortiz at the plate. Seen too many of those absolutely crushed home runs off Yankee pitching lol, Ortiz was a beast
I grew up a dodger fan but met Tim Wakefield through a program and he got my brother and I tickets to fenway park. Post game at a hotel bar eating dinner he introduced us to some of the redsox players. David Ortiz was jovial and so nice. I'll always remember how massive and friendly he was and his tremendous post game body odor hahaha
"I don't know whether Mariano thought he was bunting..." Bill Mueller's AB is underrated for this reason. He BAITS Rivera into thinking he's bunting and throwing him a fat pitch. What a genius at bat.
I remember watching Chapman’s blown save against Boston in my hotel room in Galveston Texas. We were going on a 1 week cruise the next morning. It was fun.
I'm surprised Raul Ibanez wasn't on this vid. When he with the Yankees he hit a game tying 1 out pinch hit homerun in the bottom of the 9th and then 3 innings later hit a walk off bomb.
How can you not like Big Papi For what he has done for the city of Boston. He is like Joe Mauer or Yadier Molina for them. First Ballot Hall of Famer in my mind.
@@19SantaMariaValley13 Sorta Yes he never failed a drug-test however being mentoined and failing a drug test is two different things when discussing PED Use in Sports.

lulz, fuck the Rangers, LET'S GO STROS!! I live in Austin and they still suck off the Rangers even though Houston is geographically closer and actually has a World Series win.
I still smile smugly when I see the Rangers choke in the World Series. But everytime I see Bregman hit that walk off against the Dodgers, my eyes tear up in ecstasy!
You saved the best moment for last! And also the one where the Sox rallied in the bottom of the ninth against New York just proved the Sox hated losing this past season!
Shouldn't have watched this so close to bed. This one got my blood pumping! On a side note, sure do miss me some Bill Mueller. Crafty ball player, right there.
4:26 - The fact that the Dodgers were able to tie the astros at 12 runs WHILE THE ASTROS WERE CHEATING casts no doubt on who would have won this game if it had been played fairly
Ah, the Rangers. As a devout fan, I will admit the franchise is defined by three things: completely and utterly blowing a World Series, getting demolished the next year in the World Series, and a punch.
Oh man you didn't include one from just this past season! Brewers vs Cardinals April 3rd, 2018, the first game in MLB history to start off with back to back home runs then end with back to back home runs, so it includes a blown save and IMMEDIATE walk off! That game was amazing!
the astros blown save at home, that was very satisfying for some reason, i wonder how they were able to still win it after that, it must have been their night, i mean magic was in the air, geez man
You should try best and worst double-header performances! Say a guy had a lot of hits among both games or had a bad performance like Aaron Judge at Detroit
@@WesleyAPEX I don't count 2017 because the Astros cheated, 2022 though they won fair and square. The Rangers recently won the World Series last season so technically the state of Texas has two World Series titles if you don't count 2017
How about a video of almost-triple plays? Whether the fielders almost got it or the umpire blew the call. I know it happened to the Blue Jays in I believe the 1993 WS.
People overrate the 2017 World Series .Fans just remember how crazy Game 5 was. The 2001 World series between the Yankees & Diamondbacks, was way better. First WS to end in November . The Yankees where going for a 4 peat. Every game had drama .
The first one nope I remember that night we were so close but Nelly was playing to shallow uuuhhhhhhhh so many emotions I am still crying to this day😤😤😤😤😤😞😞😞😞😞😞😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
As a Yankee fan I always dreaded David Ortiz at the plate. Seen too many of those absolutely crushed home runs off Yankee pitching lol, Ortiz was a beast
Requinix17 yeah as red sox fan i always thought we had a chance with him at the plate
My dad is a Red Sox fan I’m a brewers fan
I’m a red sock fan so I love David Ortiz.
Requinix17 he did it to my Tigers way tooooo many times as well

Bill mueller had a big brain, if he could get Mariano to fake bunt and throw a hanging cutter, he would tie the game.
I remember watching Chapman’s blown save against Boston in my hotel room in Galveston Texas. We were going on a 1 week cruise the next morning. It was fun.
It was horrible
I was at the game with my fiancee..great weekend in Boston
He did it again. Lol
As a Sox fan watching Dave Roberts slide into home gives me chills every time.
Do same player tying the game, then winning the game, kinda like what freese did
I'm surprised Raul Ibanez wasn't on this vid. When he with the Yankees he hit a game tying 1 out pinch hit homerun in the bottom of the 9th and then 3 innings later hit a walk off bomb.
Jeremy Epner lol you mean exactly like what Freese did?
Not enough examples
Bro his name always brings me pain 😖
So only like 4 people
"we will see you tomorrow night" such a nice call by joe buck. what a great ws that was

You could have a blown saves compilation of just Jansen in the past 2 seasons. I'm a Dodgers fan but he is going down hill.
He seems to choke when it matters most. Also, I heard he's still having nightmares about Steve Pearce
2017 he was y’all unhittable man, but Bregman best him. Game 5 of the World Series was the best baseball game I’ve ever watched
There you are waldo
The opening clip was brutal. As a Texan I don't know why you open with that

VenomousStare because he’s an Astro’s fan
that sox v. yanks game back in 2018 was a crazy one. one of the most memorable games that year for a sox fan!
Mariano Rivera's 2001 World Series blown save is much more memorable than the Red Sox ones.
As a Cardinals fan, #1 gives me chills
What's worse than losing a potential World Series-clinching game on a walkoff? Losing the whole series the next night.
Bruh I remember watching the Cardinals Texas game with Freeze
Sensational
As a Red Sox fan, that walkoff win that completed the sweep of the Yankees was almost as sweet as winning the World Series
Agreed! It's one of those, "I'll never forget where I was..." moments.
for me winning the workd series after beatiing the Yankee was a anticlimatic

Chapman's blown save hurt me as a Yankees fan
It's to be expected at this point. He's not a great closer at all.
Almost hurt me as a Cubs fan
To be fair if his third baseman makes an accurate throw they win the game.
@Wandering MGTOW
Same here. Glad the Reds released him
Chapman is a great regular season pitcher but chokes in the postseason.

It’s awesome how two of these are the Red Sox vs the Yankees and it ends up in the better team’s favor. You love to see it.

The Cuban flame thrower is the greatest closer when he’s pitching at a 100% he only had 2 blown saves last season. He’s spooky to bat against

That first one should be called Nelson Cruz blowing the world series
This video is getting a dislike for showing a bunch of cheaters wining.
