Trey mancini, chris davis (at the time) jonathan schoop, adam jones, manny machado, and trumbo to an extent so this wasnt a bad team at all the orioles got fucked by contracts and trades went to shit within a couple years

The game when they scored 16 runs was when the Red Sox were first and the division and the Orioles were last, so they were a horrible team during this game

@@yankeesfan2821 even though they finished last in the division, it was pretty close that year their record was 77-85 which is pretty good for a team going under .500 In a season. Plus if they would've won like 3 or 4 more games they would've been like 3rd in the division

To people saying the Orioles were a good team in the first clip, no they weren't. It was 2017 (because Tim Beckham and Seth Smith were on the roster) and they came in dead last both 2017 and 2018. 2016 was the last time they were good.

first clip was of the orioles in 2017, when they finished 75-87 in the most competitive division in MLB
that was also the year after 2016, when they finished 89-73 and 2nd in the AL East, with players like the manny machado/jonathan schoop duo, mark trumbo when he led the league in HRs, adam jones, zach britton on his 2nd-best-in-MLB-history save streak with a 0.54 ERA, and the debut of trey mancini in what would become his 3rd-place-in-RoTY-honors 2017 season (probably would've won if not for judge)

Dany Lug the monster actually isn't necessarily that hard to hit homers over as it is very shallow. Many high flies that would normally be warning track outs turn into homers over it. Then again, many hard hit liners that would be homers turn into doubles. But Fenway is known as a favorable park for right handed batters. Thus, the reason why a straight up Ted Williams Joe DiMaggio trade was considered back in the day.

i kinda feel sorry for the scouts of the Marlins and Mariners. If you looked it up Miami or Seattle always had some legendary, great or even just solid talents through the years but they were always traded right before they broke out.
