I'm sure this editing takes much more time but I love it. Not only short breaks between clips help enjoy it but also the info about the game is very helpful. Thank you! Hope that will stay around. :)
Yea but Kirby’s comes close, but that one is amazing walk off Homer to win the World Series Kirby’s was a walk off to force game 7 still important but not like hitting a walk off to win the World Series
As a Yankee fan there’s no wonder they had the most walk-offs with their 27 championships. However, Joe Carter’s blast in 1993 was the most memorable because it won the World Series for the Bluejays and how amazing of a feeling he must of had. What kid doesn’t dream of hitting a home run to win the World Series? Good for him. He accomplished every kids dream and he has one hell of a story to tell his grandkids and God willing, great grand kids! Congrats Joe!
Thank goodness Joe Buck didn't do the 1988 Gibson home run. He would have said in monotone...."Fly ball, right field, home run, Dodgers win, Game 2 tomorrow, catch you then"
Love the channel. How did you decide which ones made the cut? Everyone has mentioned the ones in the 90s I thought of that were missing. Also, Billy Martin's Series winner in game 6 of '53. Love all your videos, keep it up, we'll keep watching!
"Here's the 0-1. This is gonna be a tough play, Bryant, the Cubs.... WIN THE WORLD SERIES! BRYANT MAKES THE PLAY! IT'S OVER! AND THE CUBS HAVE FINALLY WON IT ALL! 8-7 IN 10!"
Ruben T of course that was the only time he was at least a little exited. I understand that the cubs hadn't won a WS in 100 years but still. I think you understand I'm an Indians fan.
For me the teams like Phillies, Diamondbacks, Cardinals, Royals, or White Sox their World Series wins are way better then any wins. Because it got old watching Yankees or Red Sox winning.
Really great video! Kind of odd to go from most recent to oldest (It matters in the '91 series, due to the fact there were four goddamn walkoffs in the series), also, where are the other two walkoffs in the '91 series? Both of them, oddly enough, by Mark Lemke.
The 1991 World Series had 4 walk off wins. The Braves won games 3 and 4 in walk off fashion. Mark Lemke brought David Justice home in Game 3, and Jerry Willard brought Mark Lemke home on a sacrifice fly in Game 4.
Yep the right call for sure. But it was obstruction. Obstruction= fielder obstructs runner’s path Interference= runner interferes with the fielder’s play.
That 2013 Cardinals call was such trash, no interference and that slow dude was out by a mile. Glad they lost 3 straight games without a fight after that
Prior to 1935, they’re we’re many walkoffs in World Series play One to mention.... 1924 Game 7 Senators beat Giants on a walk-off hit in a 12-inning nail biter
Bit of a different video today, much more editing than what I usually put in. Hope you enjoy!
5:49 Isn't that the 1988 Series, not 98'?
@@f-4ace667 Yep good catch :(
I loved it. Makes me want to break out my WS box set and go through every one of these series again.
I'm sure this editing takes much more time but I love it. Not only short breaks between clips help enjoy it but also the info about the game is very helpful. Thank you! Hope that will stay around. :)
You missed eddy murray walk off for the Indians in 1995 game 3 vs the braves
I love how announcers in the 30s were just like fly ball the game is over the dodgers win the World Series so casually
Koda Salas go a’s
Bruh, it was just a different style of announcing. And I love how the Dodgers didn’t even go to their first world series until 1959.
I think the same thing every day🤣🤣🤣🤣
bruh same thing with some announcers in tropicana field games
they were pretty boring sometimes lol
And there goes the ball, Homerun the do dodgers win the World Series.
The Joe Carter walk off call was the best. great walkoff call. "Touch em all Joe! You'll never hit a bigger home run in your life." 6:38
David Freese is now allowed any beer of his choice for free in St. Louis
he actually is
Damn that collective jump at home plate at 7:28 was a thing of beauty.
The McGwire walk off was the 1988 World Series not the 1998 one
Joseph Panini lol I was thinking the same thing that's why I came to the comments to see if I was wrong
McGwire was with the Cardinals in 1998, plus the Cardinals didn't win any pennants between 1988-2003.
if that were 1998 he'd be packing another 50 lbs. of muscle and his head would have doubled in size
Exactly. McGwire's walk off homerun was in 1988. It was the series that Gibson had his walk own walk off homerun.
"Touch em all Joe! You' ll never hit A bigger home run in your life!"
6:35 the absolute best walk off in MLB HISTORY
As a Phillies fan I hate to agree but yeah it was one of the greatest walk offs in mlb history
Touch em all Joe!
Gave me goosebumps
Yea but Kirby’s comes close, but that one is amazing walk off Homer to win the World Series Kirby’s was a walk off to force game 7 still important but not like hitting a walk off to win the World Series
Yeah no. The best walk off is pirates game 7 walk off homer. 1960 WS.
Yeah we’ve won and lost many games by walk offs but the blue jays have had some of the best homeruns in history
@@dante6562 I’ve been a Yankee fan for 40 years so I’ll agree to disagree lol. Yanks have some incredible ones.
greatest moment back to back first non US team to win
Thank goodness Joe Buck didn't do the 1988 Gibson home run. He would have said in monotone...."Fly ball, right field, home run, Dodgers win, Game 2 tomorrow, catch you then"
(monotone) baaack at the waaaall and the Dodgers win it.
You really think the fans of the winners of the World Series give a damn how the announcer calls the game winning hit
seeing these clips go way back into the 40s and 30s is really funny to me and I don't know why.
Maybe because they dint jump around like crazy after winning the world series.
The Kirk Gibson walk off is the greatest of all time when you take the entire at bat AND the injuries into account..
TIL Joe Buck took his announcing cues from the guys who did the old newsreels.
that was his dad lol
Top ten playoffs series of all time
Man, that 2001 Series might be the best of all time
Also the 1991 world series. In my view point.
2016 World Series was insane as well
Wow Joe Buck seems so excited in these lol
It's a World Series, what did you expect
@@ibhaenggi it’s sarcasm
Here after the rangers and diamondbacks just had game 1 and Garcia Walked It Off
Love the channel. How did you decide which ones made the cut? Everyone has mentioned the ones in the 90s I thought of that were missing. Also, Billy Martin's Series winner in game 6 of '53. Love all your videos, keep it up, we'll keep watching!
The 1991 World Series had 4 game end in a walk off. But its ok cause you included the 2 that mattered :)
Gibson looked like he was going to collapse rounding those bases. Touch em all gibby
Very, very well done. Truly enjoyed it.
That 2001 world series had to set a record for most walk offs in a series
No that would be 1991
Forgot the 1953 World Series winning walk off in game six when Billy Martin singled home Hank Bauer.
Jerry Talbot too long ago
Liorrsavag e not too long ago for a video that has a clip from 1939 in it
13:51 Popeye in real life😂
Lol
The McGwire one was 1988 not 1998. Great video otherwise
2 other walk-offs from 1991 were missing (Games 3 & 4)
As a dodger fan that astros game broke my heart💔
T-pose Patrick hahahahahahahahha fuck you and the dodgers
Noah Ranker damn
@@noahranker4133 is probably a Giants fan hahahahahahaha
Alan Ventura hahaha what?
OneAndOnly Lokey o I see you are stupid
joe buck after a walk off in the worlds series: “ That is a home run end of game”
I wish these were in chronological order, but great compilation none the less
Luis Gonzalez is #1 for sure!
I love the Yankees ones they are awesome awesome video
7:04 touch em joe , you’ll never hit a bigger homerun in your life “ - Yankee fan
Currently watching the Brewers/Pirates game right now. It's funny seeing both team's managers appearing in this video in their more youthful days.
Joe Buck should stop announcing. It really isn’t his purpose in life.
1998 was between the Padres-Yankees. While there were no walkoffs, the McGwire hr was 1988.
Uhh that was the year that we finally had a good year.
For me the teams like Phillies, Diamondbacks, Cardinals, Royals, or White Sox their World Series wins are way better then any wins. Because it got old watching Yankees or Red Sox winning.
1:19 i agree with the manager that was safe
geshaw 4 yes I’m a cardinals fan and saying to Boston. Are you blind there was an obstruction call
Obstruction call
5:53 some guy was hanging onto the railing to get the ball😂
Now you can add max muncy from last year and hopefully some in Houston this year
YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD, YES!!!
I wish he was at the World Series with the White Sox
Really great video! Kind of odd to go from most recent to oldest (It matters in the '91 series, due to the fact there were four goddamn walkoffs in the series), also, where are the other two walkoffs in the '91 series? Both of them, oddly enough, by Mark Lemke.
You can update the “Walking Off to Clinch “ video (Altuve homer to win ALCS, 2019)
Aha they cheated
Has to feel grateful 🙏. )
Nixon was piss when jetter
6:36 Imagine this, but in 2020.
It would
be Nuts
not gonna lie you got some good ass footage props to you EXE
Gotta update it with the past few seasons
Everyone in New York must have loved Bill Buckner forever
The 1991 World Series had 4 walk off wins. The Braves won games 3 and 4 in walk off fashion. Mark Lemke brought David Justice home in Game 3, and Jerry Willard brought Mark Lemke home on a sacrifice fly in Game 4.
That's the year I became a Braves fan. And never looked back. From worse to first.
Add the Tampa Bay Rays Game 4 of the 2020 WS vs the Dodgers.
he can’t jus add it when the videos been already uploaded
That’s been 2 years since this was posted
Great work, as always! 👍
Bro the announcer casually being calm like Freese hits one deep back and we will see you tomorrow night like bro how
1:14 that was interference tho the umps made a good call
Yep the right call for sure. But it was obstruction.
Obstruction= fielder obstructs runner’s path
Interference= runner interferes with the fielder’s play.
Best channel
Gotta put an astrict next to the first clip
The 1991 Series is still the greatest of them all.
1935!? 7 years ahead of Bambi's book
That 2001 series may have been the greatest ever.
"Astros win it"....i don't even follow MLB but love Jomboy breakdowns. Like anything the astros do should be counted.
8:04
One of the best moments
Every pitcher’s worst nightmare
8:48 Red Sox fan here, I just cried
Maxim Regine i feel for u brotha
Now we need 2018 game 3, 2020 game 4, and 2023 game 1.
Yes
Behind the bag...classic call
Even by being a cardinals hater, that game was history
That 2013 Cardinals call was such trash, no interference and that slow dude was out by a mile. Glad they lost 3 straight games without a fight after that
For your next video, do best wild card game moments or you could do loudest away crowds
In that 3rd clip he missed the whole plate
That STL-BOS one though😤 he never touched the plate
BigPileofGarbage there was interference
9:52 warning EARRAPE
Mark McGwire didn’t homer in 1998 because the Yankees were in the World Series that year and they’re both in the American League
Lol 1945 was the last time we were in a World Series before 2016
joe carter best moment in canadian baseball history touchem all joe
11:08 As An A’s Fan I Love that.
@Esteban Dominguez nah
What a blown call at 1:28 that’s runner interference.
Middlebooks ( the fielder) was sticking his feet up at 1:14 which made it fielders interference.
Does this list go from most recently to longest ago?
Nicholas Barranco yea
2013 Cards' walkoff was bogus. It turned out to be their last win
It wasn’t bogus, that was clearly interference on Middlebrooks
It was interference
That David Freese homer broke me and my mom's hearts as rangers fans
Best of luck this year!
2001 walk off World Series
My question is this: Why go backwards instead of forward?
I like it. It'a a fresh, different way.
I ageee we seem to have more intrest in moderen day.
So we can get past the Joe Buck calls as early as possible.
At least he’s not Cris Collinsworth.
It's easier to start a list like this since you are guaranteed to have footage of the most recent walk-offs.
Go to 9:50 to have your eardrums blown out
Bill Mazeroski in 1960 is the best, not even close.
Mission cumplida Washington esos astros no se salieron con. La suya.semerecen see campeonatis bendiciones
Wish the clips were longer
The joe carter one if you see closly the some fans on the fleid
McGwire Played for STL in 1998, that's actually the year he broke the HR record. I think you meant 1988*
I’m not sure if I see Brett Phillips walk off in 2020
Prior to 1935, they’re we’re many walkoffs in World Series play
One to mention.... 1924 Game 7 Senators beat Giants on a walk-off hit in a 12-inning nail biter
Why is nobody talking about how great the 2001 world series was?
McGuires homer was 88 vs Dodgers. 98 yanks vs Padres.
You should do a vid on crowd silencing moments
In the 1954 giants one, I saw a 254 FOOT FENCE! Who new polo grounds was so small?
Me
the 1998 was the Yankees vs Padres. Not the A’s vs Dodgers.
You forgot eddie murray 1995 vs the braves for the Indians
The braves won in 1995 bud
It's crazy to me that no one has walked off to clinch the world series since 2001
How could you leave out Enos Slaughter's Mad Dash in Game 7 to win the 1946 World Series title for the St. Louis Cardinals?
1:15 doesn't even touch the base. play it back at 0.5x, this is why we need reviews.
3:07 He really shouted for that
Missed Joe Oliver’s game two hit in 1990.
first one is unvalid
