The first showing of the Orks! A friend wanted to hear an Ork thing for their birthday and whilst I didn't have time to record a full Ork piece I did want to do something related to them! Hopefully some point soon I shall be able to get to the other side of this equation and show the Orks from their more consistently... humerous side, though first I wished to show the terror of the Green Tide! If you wish to support me you can like comment and subscribe, or support me further by visiting the Patreon, Redbubble or joining the Discord! As always, my many thanks for watching!
The irony of this is despite how gruesome and terrifying it is for the rest of the galaxy to fight these guys, the Orkz are just having fun. Brilliant work as always.
I remember reading 15 hours, and slowly feeling the dread the main characters start to feel as he slowly realizes he is trapped in a world fullo of orks, and the first waaagh, moment.
Thank you so much for weaving your arts into the saga of the beast. Please do more as this brilliantly woven epic of the orks shows the reality of what they really are in the universe of 40k and as always your purity of purpose in weaving this poetic silk masterpiece of your arts is as always amazingly brought to life with perfect emotion and clarity of zest that makes you an infinitely talented artist I will always love to listen to. And every time I re-listen to you I find a brand new thread of joy that I now know you effortlessly woven into your work-passion-and for us who are great fully blessed by your gifts to all.
It never fails to baffle that, despite the fact that WAAAGH! The Beast brought the Imperium to its knees and nearly wiped out the mankind, in the 41st Millenium there are still many who continue to underestimate and belittle the Orks. This excerpt perfectly captures the dangerous potential and raw might of the Ork menace if left unchecked
Great work. New sub! I love the Orks. They are a sleeping giant that absolutely terrifies everyone when they rally. But to them they're just having a big party. It's plausible they assume everyone else feels the same way and it's all in good fun.
Most people just meme the WAAAAAAAGH field instead of actually thinking about it's potential. The Orkz can't just believe you don't exist or some shit, but all that Psychic Gestalt Field focused on a single Ork makes them bigger, stronger, and far faster than they have any right to be. The Emperor was powerful enough to maintain the Astronomicon across the Galaxy by that point, but a nigh unending Empire of Greenskins all focused on their Warboss means that the Big Boss is psychically supercharged as well. It's why the Orkz are so terrifying, because if even one gets to Krork status, that's a Galactic shift in power right there.
Also, I feel like we need more stories like this. My biggest fear about Orks is that they become like Klingons were for Star Trek: Tropes and joke material. Yeah, the stories with them just having fun are... Well, they are fun, but when they are the enemy of the story, it's good to really drive home how terrifying these guys can be.
They’re like zombies of the warhammer universe, always there and a constant danger, easy to deal with in small numbers, but let them congregate and they become an unstoppable flood.

the ork in me's thinking NOW DAT SOUNDS LIKE A PROPA FOIGHT!!!
Orks are the best representation of savage barbarians ravaging a declining empire archetype in fiction imo
Agreed, Orks are flexible and reliable.

Brilliant work as always.
In the grimdark future of the 41st millennium, the Orkz are the only species in the galaxy having fun.
*sings* Whoa, boyz just wanna have fu-unnnnnn...
Every orc video, the same comment
And this is the "Comic Relief" faction....
There is one word that can make even the hardiest of man quake in terror:
WAAAAAGH!!!

The imperial truth is that humanity is superior and will conquer the stars. Can’t do that if something else could actually win.
The "Waaagh" in Helsreach always gave me chills, how genuinely terrifying it would be to face even one Ork, much less the Green-Tide.

As an ork fan it's about time the boyz got the respect they deserve 🎉🎉
Dude this hits so unreasonably hard
I love how DVQO picks the excerpts that send chills down your spine and that you read 4 times. Deep.
I love the orks they my favorite faction
same here. It's impossible not to love da boyz
When this part happened while I was listening to it... I froze. It was such a brilliant double meaning for the title.
Considering the Orkz almost killed the Emperor of Mankind and Horus had to save his life, the Orkz should always be feared and never underestimated.
You can always count on a good scrap when da boyz are around, even da golden smart boy and da loopy cow will get their fill.

That was great

Hellsreach was great, the orks feel like an actual threat.
the ending line is genuinely horrifying for any imperium fans (me)
