That Lance part HAHA. Jack, you are the funniest coffee youtuber love your editing and humor. Ill also have to give the blind shaker a chance sometime, might be worth using all the time for the every expensive coffee.
20 seconds of shaking to make a better cup, even if only very slightly better... why not? I use a hand grinder, after grinding while the ground coffee is still in the grinder, I just shake for 20 seconds, no expensive shaking device needed.
I do something similar. All my grinders grind into a little catch cup that I'll throw a little plastic lid over and shake away. It definitely reduces the drawdown time significantly and seems to cause fewer stalls. So I'm sticking to it.
Well.. I wanted to give a try, but checking the link for MHW-3BOMBER BLIND SHAKER, it shows 31,95€, so definitely not 10 pounds.. a bit expensive for such simple thing to be honest 😅
@@djDuff86 yeah, the price fluctuate I guess. I bought mine for around £12ish but that waa long time ago. I wouldn’t pay €32 for it but if you do, don’t forget to use my code so I can earn €1 on it myself.
@@mycoffeeshow111 was actually replying to @djDuff86 who says he finds that the blind shaker as expensive so just giving him an alternative way to shake the coffee grounds. I used to use a plastic container to shake my coffee.

@@pimacanyon6208 that is a very good idea. I have R3 grinder with inbuilt sifter - so it does 2 things in one go

For pour overs you don't need a blind shaker. Any container where you can shake the coffee will do.
@@theg9401 you are right here but I already had it so why not use it.
