Troubleshooting a Whirlpool Refrigerator not Defrosting

Good job mentioning the pins on the defrost timer. It's very rare for a Whirlpool-built refrigerator's evaporator heating element to go bad. Usually, you can see the damage if it is. The GE glass ones go bad often but rarely ever do you see the Whirlpool ones go bad.

I have continuity on the element but no voltage going to it what controls that power supply the timer?

For the defrost timer which terminal did you attach the black wire too. I couldn’t find the wiring diagram for my fridge W4TXNWFWQ03. Also is your fridge working now?

Im having a problem with my refrigerator the GFCI turns on as soon as i conncet the fridge
