How to fix Rust/Brown Water in Faucets
มุมมอง 4.9K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Water would run clear and then after 8 or 9 seconds it would run rust water for 5 or 6 seconds then clear up. It was only on the hot water side. I ended up moving the expansion tank from the hot water side and putting it on the cold water side. Then I replaced the galvanized plumbing parts for brass. That seamed to fix the problem.

Really how's that going to help me
As an ex LG tech my jaw dropped, if LG wanted you to fix it they should've gave you the " Kit " third party repairs without the training
My 4th great grandfather Ezra William Stevens and his family moved down with the DeMille family in the 1800's. Thank you for this video.
Hope u can help me. I replaced my flame motor and it's working now but my flame is going down instead of up, can u tell me why?
Thank you for the video. Our freezer was icing up , and we found that the drain line was blocked at the end of the line right before the water drips into the evaporation. tray. Just made sure all the areas and drain lines were unfrozen first and draining properly before removing the little boot at the end of the line. The little boot was guncked close.
Process is totally wrong
So this was in fact, a video of r&r of the crossmember. NOT the Xfer case...
WORTHLESS DAMN VIDEO!! YOU NEED TO TAKE THIS SHIT DOWN!!!
Stupid cideo
That my tablet its been 6y ago I have my hoodchild things
There's so many wrong things with everything you said and did on this video that, frankly, I wouldn't know where to begin! You are obviously winging it with no knowledge or training. This video should be taken down, not just because of all the wrong information but also for public safety!
Does the rev limit light still work with after market coil
Yes it does. Works great!
Hey Jarred. I’d love to know what you used for a base to weld the corrugated metal to ?
@@stbeeze just a small piece of metal cut from 1/4" steel plate.
Then just started to weld them down and move out.
@@jaradbrink Thank you buddy. I’ve got to try this. 👍
Appreciate your help. 👍

Crimp rings and fittings are not rated for direct burial. I'm sure this will last a while but it's not advisable
I have a 98 f150 and has had problems shifting while in 2wd it shifts fine in 4wd but will not shift while in 2wd while in park it wont go into drive or anything
url 좀 받을수 있을까요??
I sure hope you didn't charge someone to do this.
Was this entering on the north side or the south side?
A very helpful tip to extend the life of the compressor is to add 50ml of sulphuric acid to the compressor before regassing. This reduces corrosion
Cheap chinese shit
Anyone in Canada has done it?
99 percent chance that you will eventually have a leak. Weld on a valve especially with an explosive refrigerant
TCL of my is not working
it doesnt work
Exellent video
Please if you people know how to fix a talefunken table when a black cable is out of connection 😢😢😢😢 please help me
Thank you so much! I replaced that part and now the fireplace is back to normal.
Never worked on a 4x4... first time.ever... how heavy is the tranfercase?
For the defrost timer which terminal did you attach the black wire too. I couldn’t find the wiring diagram for my fridge W4TXNWFWQ03. Also is your fridge working now?
Did you find an answer as to which terminal the black wire gets attached to?
Just adding gas and you over charge it you voided the mfg warranty. R600 has to be weight in The gas runs in a vacuum.
Same problem after 2 years. This is my second LG and they are terrible. I added some R600a like yours and waiting to see if it works. Update: Adding freon is the last thing you wanted to do after other troubleshooting. Added around near 2 or and it's iced cold now. Just don't buy LG ever again.
LOL, wrong way to even temporarily repair this! I am an LG factory authorized repair company owner. You have a leak somewhere, that must be fixed and further R600a will leak from that new fitting he just installed - so now you have an additional leak! If you really want to repair this, you will need to #1. find the leak. #2. repair the leak. #3. replace the compressor, filter / drier. #4. Vacuum system. #4 factory charge to sticker grams r600a. this requires leak detection equipment, brazing equipment, vacuum pump, grams charging scale and various expendables. You certainly CAN learn to do it correctly, but you will need to at least borrow all of the required tools and equipment. If you don't replace the compressor, the acid developed from the leaks will eat the copper winding insulation and self-destruct soon. You can do what's in this video and fill it once every couple weeks though until you are filling it daily with refrigerant. In the mean time you are most likely overfilling and burdening the compressor pushing it quicker to it's grave. Once dead, then you can try the correct way.
I am a certified tech. What is the factory weigh in charge amount?
That is too much work, even though it may be the correct way to do it. The service charge must be close to the cost of just buying a new refrigerator.
Ok, have a kimchee LG refrigerator needs fixing.
My understanding is that pex pipe is cts (copper tubing size). Pex is also sdr 9. (Which means it's a 9:1 ratio from wall thickness to o.d.). So, I think you're connecting either 3/4" to 3/4" or 1" to 1". And this is all pex b. (Crimp style pex. Not expansion... Aka pex a.) I could be wrong but thought I'd mention what I thought
FYI - Did you notice the crystaline build up on the condensor steel line brazed to the copper compressor line. You will find if you look at the condensor steel line brazed to the copper capillary tube line has the same cyrstaline build up at its joint as well. This is the R600a boiling out through pin hole leaks in the brazing. What ever brazing material LG used in manufacturing to mate these two different lines together is leaking the R600a out at these these joints. This will have to be corrected before the leaking of refrigerant problem is fixed for good. That is why a Type 1 or higher 608 certified tech ought to be repairing this and LG ought to be ashamed of themselves for approving this repair. Also, piercing valves should never be expected to be a permanent installation. These are meant to be temporary and are only for refrigerant recovery before opening the system. The joints can then be rebrazrd for a steel to copper compatible weld and a permanent service valve installed in the line for recharging after repairs. If you look at all the copper to copper line brazed joints none of them are leaking. LG has a bad quality control issue here. I know, I just had to repair my LG after 8 months time with the same type of joint leaks, but I am 608 Type 1 certified.
Great Safe Comment... I'm in repair business. Won't touch these yet. Need proper tools.. If that tap leaks.. can catch Fire.. it's Flammable Gas.. FOLKS.. WHAT sucks.. is the number of Failed Compressors.. I run into and LG NOWS THEY PUT OUT JUNK
I'm a refrigeration mech, would you aprove using brass ferrule connections? Don't have a tip small enough to braze these silver connections
Very well said
Why did you heat it? Thanks. So that is 1 inch cts and one inch white PEX?
Have to heat it up to get it to go together. The Blue pipe is 3/4 inch CTS and the PEX is 1 inch
This is so wrong on so many levels. Do not attempt this useless, and possibly dangerous repair.
How is the looking and protection up to today 5/5/23 ?
So many wrong things in this video, I'm sorry for the negativity, but I can't abide and see lots of people failing because of the bad information, first, if it is low on refrigerant, it's because of a leak, need to find the leak and repair it, then, whenever there is a leak, we need to replace the compressor, drier and the leaking component, the reason for this is, because of the leak, the sealed system is also suctioning condensables (air) and it will make the compressor's oil acidic and it will break the compressor sooner than later.
Notoce the corrosion (green) around that joint on the comoressor. Happens a lot with R600a (isobutane) systems for some reason. Any ideas why? The Home Depot guy says LG is habing lawsuit problems from that but I don't know if it ia from a leak on that same joint. They fix it and it fails again in 6 months he said. Is there a reason it fails at that spot? Is the refrigerant moist or contaminated? Is it vibration and a lavk of flux or a chemical reaction with the flux or ?????
Not the compressor but the oil of the compressor replace the compressor if it has leak back pressure or burned out windings
Is that end of the compressor also a low side?
a completed full silicone doll with better playable ways than a torso
@gmail
R600 should be charged as a liquid on the high side not the low side you’ll ruin the system plus you added that valve on the wrong line that’s the suction line known as evaporator line that should be tapped into low side of compressor on the left side
LG Junk. I had the same problem. I lost freezer full of food twice. Cost me $$. I paid $3,000 for the POS.
I have continuity on the element but no voltage going to it what controls that power supply the timer?
Way to much work removing torsion bars, it could be done without, removing torsion bars or exhaust
Did it have room with removing the front if the transfer case to transmission' the 6 or so bolts' ?
Look at all the seething repair bubbas in this comment section.
All the environmentalists have actually made our world much much worse, all the new appliances are all garbage, especially LG and Samsung, We become a throw away society with all these technology failures.
The system most likely has a leak. Leaks do not fix themselves. This guy will be adding 600a for the rest of his life. Piercing valves are junk and also leak. DO NOT DO WHAT THIS GUY IS DOING. I am a refrigeration technician, and have been for almost 30 years. This guy is doing everything wrong. Call a real technician.
This is completely wrong !!! LMAO...job security for the rest of us
