I own too many music apps but this is a really great one at a super reasonable price . Thanks for making it . The only improvement I could imagine would be the addition of swing and humanize to give it an organic feel when desired .

Thanks, swing is something I'm considering for both ZOA and OODA but I need to think about how it would integrate with the pattern control and the full spectrum of available paces.

thanks for these tutorials, really informative!
Right now one feature I'm missing is the ability to see which notes are recorded in each step; selecting a step could show a list of the recorded notes somewhere and/or the notes as highlighted in the build in keyboard (similar to the midiSTEPs sequencer)

Thanks yes this is a common request and something I will consider for a future update!

Is there a link(s), to find your friend Corey, and vids of his usage? AMAZING work!🙏🏾✨

Fantastic app. Still using it in 2024 and got it on release.

Would you be able to make a tutorial on how to use OODA with eurorack?

    • @audiosymmetric

I do have a couple tutorials on using ZOA with hardware but not eurorack specifically. OODA should work the same as ZOA. Here is one: th-cam.com/video/XsjQ_cGE_8o/w-d-xo.html
I have an Intellijel MIDI 1U which I connect to my iPad and then I just route the MIDI to that in the app's settings (or audio unit host).
      Hope this helps!

Another winner congrats! Ooda and Zoa are becoming my go-to sequencers. I’m curious how you might see the two used together … I think I might be leaning to Ooda more actually..

Hello, for me Ooda and Zoa have the best UI for generative sequencing. The only thing I’m missing is changing time on a single voice. Is there a possibility to change the pace with wormhole rules or at least with midi lfo? Of course using several voices is a way to go, but I’d like to have time change option, too

Thanks for the kind words! Not right now but I like the idea!

I'd like to get my first MIDI sequencer but am torn between this and ZOA. Which would you recommend? Thank you

Well ZOA is totally generative so if you just want to be able to hit play and "steer" the sequencer, then try ZOA, but if you like more of a hardware style step sequencer then go for OODA!

Thank you. It's much clearer now. I appreciate it..

Hi, is there any way to sync presets in between iPhone and iPad over iCloud? Thanks!

Not currently but I do have an update in the works that will allow you to share presets via AirDrop!

The screen on the video is pretty blurry, I can't see anything...!?

It looks good here on my PC at 720p, so I think the source video is OK.
