    Such a beautiful, elegant and powerful app. Simple and easy to use with just a bit of instruction (watch the vids!). I bought OODA and ZOA when they first came out and I love them more in 2024 than ever. Absolute classics. I hope people are still discovering these - it's a great tool for creative exploration or for creating projects.

    I just bought this, yes I can see the potential of the Voicing Panel. Thanks.

    just an idea… it would be great to have the possibility to open a note editor for each step, allowing easy changes of the notes previously recorded for a step…

      Thanks for the idea, I will keep it in mind!

      @@audiosymmetric Yes! I need this so bad 🙏 I really hope future updates focus on note-related features. I would like to play/hear the note when I press it while it’s on pause and not only when it’s playing. And maybe, just maybe, be able to see which note was played in each step. I’m a beginner and this would help a lot 🥺

    Brilliant! I have no gigs this weekend. I am gonna deep dive into this tonight! Thanks

    You should make this generate chords
    Then make it generate melodies from the chords keys scales

      OODA only records what you put into it so doesn't generate its own chords or scales but you could use a different app such as ChordBud or ScaleBud and record its output into OODA.

    Ryan, these are all excellent tutorials. I wish every developer would create step-by-step video-torials showing every parameter and how to combine them. Thanks! 😺

    Thank you for creating this amazing sequencer Ryan! OODA is so much fun once you have your head around its controls. Big thanks for making these tutorial videos, as they really explain a lot.
    I almost had a question, but figured it out by carefully watching this video. At first, I wasn’t sure how you were recording multiple notes/arpeggios into the steps without the sequencer advancing to the next step. I then realized it was because AUM’s transport wasn’t running at the time.
    Brilliant! Looking forward to getting lost in this amazing app!

    OODA looks like a fun live performance app, but I will use it to feed notes into Reaper and then into my soft and hard synths to layer it with manually created sequences. Anyways, I wish I made these apps, but I was lazy and you were not. Thanks man!

    Ryan, both Zoa and OODA are fabulous apps. I suspect from the delivery of your tutorials along with the wonderful interface (simple to use, complexity in creative potential) that your coding is also a thing of beauty. As a developer (of too many years to admit to) I’ve never had the time to get into mobile apps other than modifying sample code, but I’m hoping to take a look at some of the open source iOS music code this year. Thanks. Lee

    Let’s say…you want to be able to play a chord with notes “humanized”. Will it play a solid chord or will it only play how you play it in? Hopefully this makes sense.😊

    • @audiosymmetric
      @audiosymmetric  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No problem. The "Rule" setting determines in what order the notes in the chord are played. For example if you set it to "Up" it will play the notes from lowest to highest, so you can get more like an arpeggio. Hope this helps!

      @@audiosymmetric ty! Yes that does help. One issue I have is the sound it robotic and not as melodic as you show in the video. Maybe it’s the piano type.

  • @teemuinto301

    Hi Ryan, I’m not able to arpeggiate chords this way, even though I have the same settings (seq pace on whole and voices on 8ths, sync voices off, all voices enabled). I get only the notes of the chords played in unison.

    • @audiosymmetric
      @audiosymmetric  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      HI thanks for the message, make sure one of the voice rules is set to "Up"
