Yussef on drums, Malik on the sax, Elijah on the keys, Rocco on the bass and Alexander on the percussion; thats a huge monster alignment 🙏🏼
mf stay sleep on Malik, dude is a really talented producer, in addition to the sax
These my present day goats right here
DREAM TEAM
Too much talent and greatness in one room
Absolute killer set! Big ups to whoever sought into fruition.
Elijah uses delay so tastefully. Specific key runs that harmonize over time and fill the space perfectly.
Indeed - I love how he uses download programs, if he's using them on his keyboard, very interestingly. He changes the timbres according to what the band wants to convey. ❤
delay is fascist no matter how you use it sory bud

Yo, put these tracks live as is on Spotify. These mixes are so fucking 🔥
Shout out to audio engineer Kevin Suggs!
Don’t forget about the light designer!!!
They are all fantastic musicians but man Rocco is going for new heights. Drums and bass are complement each other perfectly, gj on the sound engineering!
I met Yussef at a small clinic he put on, it was great, he made every single person in the room play drums. He was also very humble and down-to-earth. Afterwards he spent time talking to pretty much everyone individually.
It's pretty much a given for guys like these to have a beautiful rapport with the fans. When I used to do gigs it immediately became apparent to have a massive devotion and level of selflessness
Listen to this all hours of the day. Brings serenity to my soul
THE MESSI OF DRUMS
THE DRUMS OF MESSI
Wow! Turquoise Galaxy mind blown
One of the best KEXP performances ever!
Love the vibe❤
Music For the Sake of Music!
Saw them at the MTL Jazz fest on Canada Day and it was simply put the best live show i've seen period.
Awesome band, great tracks, great energy and impressive as hell!
Been following Yussef for 5+ years and couldn't wait to see him live. Well worth it !
Absolutely superb. Sometimes you need to listen to something different, and ive found it....
This is some of the sickest new music I’ve heard in years, I’ve shared this with every musician in my life. Keep killing it y’all!
My favorite music last year
this melts my brain beautifully
Experiencing this was akin to enjoying a premium cognac, sophisticated, full-bodied, and truly unforgettable. Yussef Dayes never disappoints!
that section around 11:45 for sure is so beautiful
only us as musicians know that tuning our instruments can be an artform.. love what he's doing with those heads and integrating them into the drumset ---- it's like that drumline drum as timbales for the drum set.. genius
Got into the groove, couldn't come back! Awesomeness of this performance is on the next level of "jazzy" side of music. There is a modern groove, classic vibe and there is no need in genres definition or cliché comparison to enjoy it. I can hear pure love for music and sound 🤩
Damn, I’ve been following these guys for a long time now, but Turquoise Galaxy is out of this world. Listen to this on a real Hifi system and you will be amazed. That bass is insane!!!!
Magistral, gente magnífica.
this is timeless
Not sure how this group could possibly keep getting even tighter but every new thing they release gives me more chills than the one before... truly breathtakingly beautiful! Seeing them live one day is at the top of my bucket list, I wish they came closer to me in Buffalo,NY on their tour. 🙏 Keep speading that love and magic🙏
Take care, you can get pregnant by listening to this
warning came too late ngl
Incredible thank you
Facts 😂 That's exactly how I felt standing front and center when they did their concert in Seattle. Oof 😍🤌🏽
Bro I got pregnant... I was by myself... And I'm a dude !!! 🤣
Ahahhaha
It doesnt get better than this ❤
Saw him in Charlotte, great show. I hope he comes back soon.
Been with him since united vibrations.
Wicked group!
I LOVE THE YUSSEF DAYES EXPERIENCE. I LOVE THE YUSSEF DAYES EXPERIENCE. I LOVE THE YUSSEF DAYES EXPERIENCE.
Man, this is amazing, everyone is blessed.
Amazing drummer!
Ahhh so good man ❤❤❤
THIS IS FIRE OMG
Been in and out on jazz for 50 years. Best I’ve heard in many many years. London scene on it.

Crème de la crème!
good drumming all around, I like when he takes it up-tempo when you don't expect
So dope!
this is pure art!
Love it ❤
Y'all gotta get them in to do the whole album. This is the dopest performance y'all have had on. Visuals on point. Music is wild AF.
Just seen Yussef live last night in Cincinnati Ohio…baddest cat out there…his band is amazing too..a must see!!
CLEAN
Goddamn
what an artist you are!! - thank you for everything you do!!
❤❤❤
Amazing performance! Please come to Argentina
Excellent, fantastic 👌
Yuseff's deep grime/dnb background bleeds so lovingly into his layered approach to even the simplest sets. Add into that cocktail the rest of the ensemble, it flies out of the park every time in my humble opinion.
Yussef! 🙏
🔥
guys will see this and say hell yeah
I Love, I Like and. I share
Groovy 🥴
Maravillosos!!!!
Holy fuuuuuuu
I just kept cursing in amazement the whole time. dear loooord
So good, as always ! ♥
Puro talento caballeros! Estoy flipeando hermano!
This is legendary
who saw them at Royal Albert Hall? Yussef's dad (Mr Dayes?) is such a cool soul.
Jazz is alive 😅
Qualcuno trova qualche analogia con Weather
Report? Bravissimi entrambi!!!!
Love that Kenny G sax sound. Super thin and bright, absolutely no warmth or anything organic about it. It is the my go to instrument when I want to feel angry and have nightmares. Oh yeah, feeling angry already, about to smash my speakers.
Support Jazz Refreshed every Thursday in London and we'll get more of such artists rising up
🔥🔥🔥
hot DAMN!
찢었다❤❤❤
wow
This is like if jazz was eating jazz
aguante yusseff dayesss
БУЙСТВО КРАСОК +БУЙСТВО ИСТОРИЙ+Я и ТЫ🍀
Bass efx sounds like the original Oc2 Octaver bass pedal❤
If Jazz turned Super Saiyan 🔥😱
Sounds like he's playing with chopsticks.. so smooth
When Shiva plays the drums 😄
once again floating in my room wtf
Glued
MORE!! 8~)
Yuseff Dayes, Robert Glasper, FKJ and Sneaky puppy I wonder if they work together what will come out!🙉🙆🙆🙆🔥🔥
🔥🔥🫡
is this a new ep not out yet, please someone let me know where to buy this music.
Does anyone know what kind of lights those are on the walls? Looking to buy something similar. Thank you.
For those of you who aren’t aware, that is Pino Palladino’s son laying down that sweet low end smoothness.
And if you don’t know who That is, well enjoy your deep dive.
I already knew Rocco from his work with Yussef, but did not know of his father so thanks for that! Will check him out! 😁
Well, thanks :) love to find new music
I'm taking that dive right now. Your knowledge is greatly appreciated. Love.
Pino is the goat. He just recently been featured with a famous guitarist on tiny desk and bought the vinyl. His work with D angelo was goat for me
@@mismo358 For me, it’s got to be his work with Paul Young back in the 80’s. His playing on Paul’s cover of Anne Peeble’s “I’m Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down” is so so good.
It could also be why D’Angelo wanted him for that session.
Someone commented ‘taking jazz into the future’… but this ‘gift’ is happening now… so thanks for jazz of the ‘present’ thanks for the ‘present’!
Correct. The reality is there is no way to identify the true expression of a heart or hearts through music or sound, it's just that. True expression of heart and love. It is Yussef Dayes type of music.
This is an amazing comment
Love their music but they just recreated the sound of 70s. If you are interested the sound of future jazz. Try some nu jazz.
@@thirdeyes9993yeah ! Damn right thirdeyes, it reminds me the sound of few acid jazz tracks of the 90’s as well. It’s a kind of a past future 😜
No more questions about this! You said it right bro!!
The other day a friend told me "they make no more good music nowadays" y replied: you mean massive industry... but there's great music happening nowadays! Just think Yussef's album was released in 2023❤ love to people reading this. You have a great taste of music guys!🎉
I can't believe people say there's no good music anymore.
They just dont know how to find.
I've sad the same thing. It's just that you would not hear good music on mainstream radio and that represents the biggest audience. What is weird to me is that Jazz was once mainstream. But yes there is so much good music today.
This is mainly 'commercial' music, i.e. music intended for the mass market, the quality of which has declined considerably over the years. Fortunately internet made the access to "smaller" artists way easier!
It's always been wild to me when people say that. Good music has ALWAYS been around. This is proof!
yeah, like Rick Beato. There a million good bands and artists around
Why does KEXP (like BBC Six Music ) work on so many different multiple levels? Because there is such a wide variety of talented musicians that they introduce us humble listeners to. So many artists we would never have discovered on most mainstream musical channels. Here is another case in point: a talented group of musicians performing truly beautiful and chilled sounds. Love it...
I listen to KRCL out of Salt Lake City. It’s non-commercial radio with a lot of fantastic people behind it. Same thing for lots of independent radio stations. !! Support your local independent radio station :-)
Besides Yussef, Elijah Fox on keys is also outta of this world
