- Backyard ATV Service/Maintenance. Changing the Oil+Filter and Air filter on a 2021 Yamaha Grizzly 700 EPS. You dont need to take your 4 wheeler in and pay the shop to do this simple maintenance. Save money and make sure its done right, do it yourself.
Youll need a small oil filter socket, a ratchet+ extension, a 17mm socket and your drain pan.
The grizzlies take about 2L or 2.2 QT i believe.
Dont use as much white grease as i did around the filter. not sure why i used so much

Can't beat Yamah blue!
Why can't they make it easier to change the oil
Because then less people would bring them to the dealerships for oil changes,
That means less money.
All about the money, lol
I was wondering what that ring was one I got my oil filter. Glad I watched your vid before attempting this, different from my Grizzly 660! Thanks, again sir, mines a 2021 real tree edition!
No problem thanks for watching, Those Real tree editions look damn good!
I like your yard, looks like the Northwoods
Thank ya it is pretty nice.
Yeah I live in Ontario Canada it's trees and rocks lol
@@WastedWages402 Very cool, the ticks are horrible this year in Northern Michigan.....my feet and ankles get sprayed with tick spray daily
Last year I got more than I've ever had in my life, and it was all when I was working near the cities.
Been in the country my whole life and never got them till then.
One of the many mysteries of the world I guess .. lol
That grease seal is a pretty good idea
I've done it on all my dirtbikes for 15 years of motocross and never had any dirt get by
Just don't use as much as I do In this video,
I was focused on trying to make a decent video and slapped half the tube on there lol
Great video, thanks! Where did you find the elbow oil spout for the oil bottle?
Thank you for watching! I got it at Canadian tire it was all together with the bottle.
I would think maybe/hopefully Harbour freight might have something similar if your in the states
@@WastedWages402 You're welcome! I'm seeing ones that are straight and that come with a filler tube that connects to the end. But I would love to have one with the angle that yours has - I wouldn't even need the attached tube for many of my applications if I had that 👍
@@bw6480 I wonder if you could find a plastic 45 like a plumbing elbow sort of thing and maybe stick that on one?
Such a usefull thing I wish they were more common!
Thank you for posting this helpful video.
No problem at all! In a month or two I'll make a video on changing diff fluid, now that I've done it a few times
Great helpful video! Thank you for sharing ... Phil (KY)
No problem happy to be able to help a bit! Thank you for watching
great video, but my question to you is, how the heck did you get that thing in there sideways like that?
thank you!
Hahaa Well.. it wasn't easy.. I picked it up shoved it over and kept doing that for about 10 mins till i got er like that.
The things we do to make a video lol.
Just what I needed. Thanks.
No problem, thanks for watching
Any issues with the air intake sealing or not sealing and letting dirt in?
nothing so far , a tiny bit of white grease around the seal can help alot i find.
I’ve been using grease to seal my air filters since the early 1990’s. The air intake tube dumps onto the front top side of the air filter, I’ve seen one TH-camr place tape along this first part of the air filter to force this dirty air away from the foam seal. I haven’t done this yet and just took my filter off my 2021 grizzly and the intake tract is clean.
Good video, Thank you!
I appreciate that, thank you!
