@thumperbangin2000 yeah fair enough I know its possible. But I like taking off one skid plate. Clean it all up cos so much shit gets collected there and you can have a good look around and clean it up with just a bit of extra effort. That's why I do it.
Yes you sure do have to take the skid plates off because the oil filter is in a very bad spot that accumulates off road debris unless you like dirt in your oil filter remove the skid plate.

How hot? Mine at idle will hit 95°c then liquid cooling activates bringing it down to 65°c in a minute or so.
No need to remove skid plate.
think I said it makes it easier and cleaner but sure.
Removing it is better. I hate cleaning 😂 I got aluminium skidplates.
