yo..... im in the same boat, traded a pew pew for a running 93 318i, drifted a 3 day event with the stock lsd,clutch,and m42. just bought a running 98 328i auto, plan to do the motor swap after the event on march 12th, but did you just plug the 328 ecu into the 318 harness or did you swap the body harness? did you run an obd2 port in the car or leave the 20 pin BMW diag port in the car?

Did u swap the trans or did u use the old transmission
