I have an M4 in the marines and I would argue that it's actually a much more reliable weapon system then most of the AK pattern rifles that I've gotten to play with. The AK might be more heavily built but M4 definitely beats it in accuracy, ergonomic, ease of use, and ease of maintenance. It doesn't perform as well as the M27 (HK416) but is take it over an AK any day. Much respect, I get out soon and plan to volunteer, hope I get to serve with you guys. Much love until then.
@sussy_6998 not necessarily, it's not so much the size of the bullet as it is the bullets velocity. Like the 5.7×28 which is what the FN5.7 and the P90 shoot, is a small round but it travels ar the speed of Mach fuck, and it was designed to penatrate body armor.

I've always lived the history of the Legion, & know it would be something that would help me refine myself, & find a new mission in life. I know the Legion will take you up to 41 years old with no issue, but beyond that it's on a case by case basis. Have you see them bring in any guys older than 41, & how many of those have made the cut?

The m4 the US sent as far as I know is not friendly to the cold and harsh conditions. It can eat mud though.
