I have send my documents to join as but not response so I am waiting
It took almost a month for me to hear back from them when I sent in my application.

I've heard a few legionnaires say you can break your contract and go home whenever you choose
Yes you can but not while deployed to the front. You could terminate it after 2 weeks or 2 months etc.
