I was supposed to watch a mundane series on netflix but then I saw this video and me being from Baguio, I had to click it. I watched the whole thing from beginning to end. I've lived almost all my life in that city but there are definitely hidden treasures I have yet to find. This 'documentary' is a masterpiece in its own right. I can't express my gratitude enough to everyone involved in this video. Maraming salamat po! You made my day!
This video shows why Erwan and his Team @FEATR is above the rest or one of the best among today's Content Creators. Thank you for showcasing the Philippines, its beauty and flaws. Our land's diversity in culture and traditions. Another informative video on the web. Warm regards!
I always hope that Erwan’s work get more world and local recognition , and shows and streaming coz it’s well deserved. This man has been working hard for a long time. He is a very good narrator and story teller
Mas okay to na content, ang ganda, nakaka pakalma sa mga taong may anxiety at Depression tulad ko. Please pag pa tuloy lg po. Maraming salamat
As a local here in Baguio, I so love this documentary for featuring authetic Baguio cuisine❤
Erwan is like no other foreign food vlogger or vlogger in general because he puts the right thinking into his work. The concept is well-thought of. His work reminds me of Anthony Bourdain, whom I admire a lot. A lot of vloggers are just taking advantage of Filipino insecurities. “Filipinos will LIKE it just because it’s made by a white guy.” Keep up the good work.
I just got back from visiting my childhood home in Baguio a few weeks ago, there my father hosted an Igorot Cañao with 8 pigs. I've witnessed several during my childhood and all were held for various reasons. It's very interesting to see the difference and similarities of the cañao between Cordilleran indigenous groups.
Due to the shift of religious views between my father's generation and mine, it may have been the last cañao my immediate family will ever host. However, even if that is the case I am glad there is more interest in preserving Cordilleran practices and pre-colonial culture through media. I am thankful for this channel's part in showcasing an intrinsic part of our history and culture.
I thoroughly enjoy re-watching this video repeatedly as it instills a sense of pride within me for being indigenous to Baguio-Benguet. The cultural significance and traditions depicted in the video are a testament to the rich heritage of my people. It is a source of inspiration and motivation for me to continue preserving and promoting the unique customs of my community. Kudos to this authentic content, such a great storyteller.
I love how passionate is Erwan talking to the locals! A vlogger attitude that everyone needs to have! I love this new YT account you guys!
I just felt sore when I last saw Baguio..I was elem to high school in the 90s, and we'd often visit Baguio every few years during summer. It was beautiful then, with the green hills & pine trees..it looked like an American national park then..now its really overcrowded & industrialized..the former governors and mayors failed this city.
I agree
I lived and went to school in Baguio City. I agree its not the same place I grew up.
Thank u Sir
❤❤❤
Proud Igorot Here
Erwan’ dedication and magic in bringing us to different places, food and culture is something worth & significant to watch.
He tells stories. Real and Great stories.
Kudos to you and your great team!
Erwan’s channel is consistent in giving creative food, culture and travel vlog. Always my favorite!
Many thanks for featuring Baguio City and Benguet province. The rich culture of the cordillerans.
I grew up and lived in Baguio my whole life but I've never tried any of these restaurants! Didn't even know places like these exist. Thank you for this, FEATR. ❤
Wonderful and amazing documentary. I'm fr Baguio and this gave me greater realization and virtual experience and pride of the place an culture where I grew up. Mabuhay ka FEATR and all your staff (writers videographers, editors and the entire production staff) who made this happen. DOT & DepED should have spent their budget for something like this. Mabuhay ka FEATR
Eto yung content na created with utmost care and high quality of material . As a person who grew up in this city, i am thankful you made this. Nakakaproud. Agyamanak!
Omg. This docu is amazing. Kept on wiping my tears from start to finish.
These types of content deserves more like, share and appreciation. I was born and raised in Baguio but had to move to Manila. This video brought me back to my roots. I am not an Igorot but grew to love our culture in the mountains. How you documented is brought me back to lots of great memories. Thank you.

Thank you for the support!
I ❤ the storytelling, cinematography of the whole video, and how you guys were able to feature the other side of Baguio. I miss this kind of shows/vids that doesnt show just the mainstream side of the place. ❤Great job! 🎉
This video just makes me want to live in Baguio more. Absolutely love the place. Full of history and culture. Hoping to visit soon!
I have watched this before…then again…and again! I am Baguio born and bred, left some 43 years ago but fortunate enough to visit quite often. I thank you, Erwan, for featuring Baguio and showing the other side of the city and its delicious secrets. The Mountain Man and his ilk are a wonderful representation of our culture and our gastronomic world. Bravo to you and your crew! Please keep doing what you’re doing!
Erwan and his production Team tell it as it is. The research and hard work dedicated to each episode and how genuine the story becomes for the whole world to learn and see.

5:45 Back in the day, the Katipunan restaurant was a popular spot for pocket miners and dog meat enthusiasts in the infamous Lakandula area. I remember going there for lunch when I was a student in the 90s. Eating dog meat was part of our culture, and I understand that some people might disagree with that. But hey, everyone has their own preferences, right?
Daming butt hurt at iiyak niyan. Mga inalipin naman ng mga espanyol. Hahaha
KATIPUNAN in Ilocano term was to Gather.
POCKET MINERS, VEGETABLE DEALERS, and such gather to eat on KATIPUNAN.
I salute you Erwan and Team for being so humble ,Your the greatest food blogger and courageous travel I’ve been watching with no discrimination to us Igorots.God Bless
