But I do know … We do not all experience (certain types of hurt) at one time or another. Thank God! Because there are some really bad people - that are capable of horrific things. I know you meant well. Not knowing what she went through - it can potentially be “minimizing” if you say, “We all go through it at one time or another”. We all do go through certain, regular life traumas. But again, thank God we don’t all endure certain hurts some people do. In any case, like you, I am sorry either way. The nice thing about animals is they never judge you- they don't care what you look like, how smart you are, what kind of personality you have; they just accept you and all they require is kindness. I've always found solace and peace in their company.

i really like this women as well. feeding wildlife with nutritious foods is so kind. she is making this world a better planet! it is cheesy to say. but the way she takes care of wildlife from her OWN POCKET is truly amazing.

Great title. I'll add to that "Squirrels heal me when life hurts." And they do help.A year ago we had quite a number of squirrels coming around, and they were unusually tame/bold. And I was in a terrible way because my Mom had just passed. The squirrels were what kept me from an even worse depression. I don't know what I would've done without their presence when an ex-friend was making things worse.
This past summer, not so many squirrels, but the ex-friend got sort of out of my life, though she cyber-bullied me through other people.
I think I have that problem licked, but still having a hard time. So what squirrels come around are really appreciated. And I have a new bunny, and getting to know her is a little happiness in all of this too.
Being hurt by people is horrible, I feel your pain. I am so glad your innocent little friends are there to comfort you. You are in my prayers too!
The thing about animals is they just accept you for who you are. They don’t ever want to hurt you.

I too have a family of squirrels living in my backyard. When I'm feeling down about the human condition, I grab a bag of raw almonds, feed the lil' critters and all is well. They know me well and are not shy about jumping all over me to get a fresh nut. Love your channel.
Im so sorry people hurt you. That happens to me too. I was badly hurt ten days ago, and couldn’t wait to get back to my squirrels (but it took a long time thanks to airline screwups.) You can be kind and generous to people, but they will forget it. Squirrels and birds never forget it. They are the best friends.

I definitely inherited my grandfather’s love for animals. Every morning, I make sure to feed the squirrels, chipmunks, and birds before work. It’s nice to sit back and watch them.

I started feeding my squirrels outback when I lost my kitty. They really helped now recently I’ve been told I can’t feed them anymore because the neighbor doesn’t like it. I really miss them.

My apartment manager sent out a notice to all residents saying "Please stop feeding nuts to the squirrels." No explanation beyond that either. I was left with so many questions. Why? Does someone not like squirrels? Or just feeding wild animals? Do they have a problem with nuts specifically? (I told this to someone else who said "Joke's on them! Peanuts and almonds technically aren't nuts!") Why are we allowed to feed the birds but not the squirrels??Plus there's no mention of feeding wildlife in the lease. This notice went out before I was ever successful in getting a squirrel to take food from me, so I doubt it was targeting me. My thought is someone must have been feeding the squirrels in an obvious way, like tossing out handfuls of food and perhaps leaving a mess behind. If you have a patio or balcony door that's out of sight from nosy neighbors, you can still feed them discreetly. They make clear plastic tray feeders for birds that attach to a window with suction cups. If you put one of these next to a patio door, just an inch or two off the ground, the squirrels will use it and also get comfortable coming right up to your door. Once they get comfortable enough, they will take food out of your hands too. My squirrels come right up to the door to ask for food. I can hand them a peanut one at a time, and they eat them on my patio, so I can clean up the shells later and it's not really visible to passersby.

@@guylaine4992 I found a way around being told you cannot feed them. I got a little metal squirrel house and had my bf attach it to my license plate cover in the front (it can be removed when I need to drive). It's on MY vehicle that I OWN, so no one can tell me I cannot have it! Plus, I have a camera facing my driveway so I can watch them jump up on it, lift the lid, and take nuts! 😁🐿️💖
Last week, I was having a terrible time at work. Everything was falling apart. I took my lunch break and sat out on my back patio. Of course, my own squirrel neighbor came down from her tree and sat in my lap while I fed her peanuts. I felt a lot better after that.
I also am sorry that you are being hurt by some people in your life, if this is any consolation, I appreciate these videos and can’t tell how many hours of enjoyment you have given me with them. God bless you and keep you strong.

I totally understand. Feeding my squirrels on my back porch actually bring me so much joy and fulfillment. I forget about all the troubles and pains. I feel like they depend on me and I am actually needed. They let me know if I am running late on feeding them. But I have a mean neighbor that constantly complain about me feeding (rodents) as she puts it. But they are not bothering her. She is just a miserable human being. And I will continue feeding them. It's starting to get cooler here and they love the colder weather and come out much more. I feed them shelled peanuts. And my inside Kitty's love watching them. We all get an enjoyment. So relaxing and forget about our troubles. Thanks for the amazing videos ❣️

Squirrels are the cutest little animals. I love feeding all my squirrels. They never go hungry. Even when we go on vacation, we have our petsitter for our two dogs and cat feed the birds and squirrels. I love watching these videos.

Spot on with everything. I've had a lot of folks hurt me, too. The squirrels (and other critters/birds) at my old house were so helpful after my dad died. They don't have an agenda- they just 'are'. The love is pure.

Squirrels have a way to interract with us by being funny, twirling, hopping, jumping, reaching out for nuts. They don’t meow or bark when close to humans but their body language speaks volume. I wish more people understood the power of squirrelling therapy. To some people, squirrels are an attic nuisance, that’s all they find to say about them. They are just ingnorant.

My wife left me alone w all the animals and it was the best thing she ever did for us. My squirrel, Daphne, is alot happier having all of daddys attention and so are the bunny, pigeon, hamster and kitty. We have gotten so much tighter as a little family and these kids really care about daddy. Whenever they see me down or unmotivated they do something to make me laugh or smile and then all the negativity goes away and we play and i give them all the attention they deserve. God made animals to remind us of his awesome power and overwhelming love. I was never a spiritual person till i found God in my squirrels eyes.

God is good he gave us animals to comfort us,to heal us and for our pleasure. I have a new critter in my tribe my son and I named him patches he's got this chunk of fur missing off his back...and I know why! he's a rascal and has to be a bully to other squirrels! He's so picky with the peanuts - he inspects at least 3 before he selects the perfect one 😊

I have 2 girl cats that are like emotional support animals for me. I enjoy watching these little characters on this channel. I use to feed squirrels at a place I lived in the past.
