    Yup, this one is an absolute winner. Heavy price tag, but it's a heavy-duty scooter.
    Well done Daymak. These are awesome. Spend the money on lithium.

    I like that it's got the extra "Canadian content" of actually being put together here in Canada. Good on Daymak! Thanks for selling it Jolene. Peace, Calvin.

    3 wheelers were banned and for a good reason, they easy tip on side when turning while going slow, like you almost did a few times when turning on the grass. Otherwise, nice mobility e bike. Thanks for the ride.

      Imagine going 32 km/hr and going up on two wheels 😬
      I have driven the Beast 2.0 and it's not bad once you get used to it. Glad they are doing them in Canada 🙂

      I have a 3 wheel Drive Easy Rider not once has it tipped over in 5 years, yes I've felt one of the rear wheels lift of the ground but that happens if you turn to sharp at speed

    What happened to the follow up video ? Maybe a full review .
    I saw some one had rear axle issues only after 5 months and the poor guy took it to his dealer who held on to it for a year and then sent it back to him unfixed they never even bothed to contact daymack to get it sorted.
    Have you had any come back with issues like that.
    Don't worry I'm in the uk and was thinking of getting one but can't find a proper full review.
    Over here in the uk they call then scooterpac invader for some reason.

    I have been looking at buying one of these machines to aid my mobility today (29 Nov 2022) but after seeing how easy the bike wants to tip over I thought no way as that will be too dangerous for me and anyone who has a disability, But it would be great if they done a 4 wheeled version as a 4x4 though and then I would go for that as I had a 2 wheeled drive electric quad bike but my disability made it awkward to get on and off the machine but I wished it had a step through like this machine has.

      It's definitely NOT a Mobility Scooter. Daymak squeaked this under that regulation. Congrats to them. Genius. So I'd recommend the Tao Freedom Ultra. 4 wheel Mobility. 60v system. Top speed of 32km. Not as cool looking though

    OK OK STOP I HAVE TWO OF THEM DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT COSTS WHEN THE TRIKE IS DOWN AMD IN FOR REPAIRS? HELLO YOU WILL PAY TO THE BONE BUT ITS ALL WORTH EVERY PENNY HELLO . They are awesome, and are worth every penny , when I’m riding nothing can get to me I love every second on my trike ;)

    Yeah, I’m not crazy about Daymak either. I’ve heard about too many quality and mechanical issues with their products and that they’re not too good with owning it! I was going to get their last Boomerbuggy model and I’m glad I didn’t. Perhaps I dodged a bullet with that one cause I’ve heard there were some serious problems with that one! 😮

    Mobility scooter that is going to hurt people. Last thing we need is people tipping those things over. If they need a mobility scooter chances are most won’t have the ability to lift the machine up or tip it back over if they haven’t themselves been hurt.

      I absolutely disagree selling people that are disabled a scooter that is built for a retirement village in Florida here in maritime Canada as a solution to there mobility should be outlawed you can’t go over a side walk curb dirt road not to mention if the weather changes and there is an inch of snow trust me talking from experience absolutely helpless and there is no AAA for scooters it took three hero’s to help push me and my scooter home guess if you have never been in our shoes you would not understand this is one of only a few that I would consider an option
      Unfortunately most door ways are not disabled compatible and it is just a few inches to wide in a lot door ways
      The boomer beast with the all wheel drive ability should be considered the standard of mobility scooters
      For the disabled allowing them year round save and capable mobility

    Hi you mentioned your not typically a fan of daymak. Is there any particular reason why? Im looking at the boomer buggy v as it has nice wide tires better suited for light sand and grass compared to most lodes with skinny tires. Is there something else you would recommend that is similar? Thanks!

    • @ridethewind
      @ridethewind  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, I'm not a fan of a lot of their products, it's true. They don't keep models for long or parts. The parts seem higher priced as well. However, this one is built in Canada, and nothing compares to it. The dual motor is incredible, it has so much torque
      This is the one product we love. And the arrow scooter they had, that one was awesome, but discontinued

    • @ridethewind
      @ridethewind  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      yes, we've delivered quite a few over the last few years. 1 person had an issue with the axle, others have been fine. We've repaired 3 used ones that customers brought to us, but that was ignition or corroded wires due to being outside year round@@italianfreek

    • @italianfreek
      @italianfreek 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ridethewind Thank you for the input are there any other brands or models off the top of your head that you would recommend that would be similar to the buggy v? I’m in the market looking for something for my grandmother who wants to be able to go to the grocery store but also drive from her cottage to the beach to watch the sunset where there is some sand so I’m looking for something with slightly wider tires that will be less likely to get stuck in the sand but small enough that you can still go grocery shopping with it

  • @Delta1Seven
    @Delta1Seven ปีที่แล้ว

    Don't let the fact that three wheels fool you... the backend is narrow. so, it can still tip over fairly easily..... If the rear track were wider, it would be safer making turns, at speed.

    • @ridethewind
      @ridethewind  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not built for speed. It's a mobility scooter. So it's already too wide for most sidewalks. Keep the speed to a care respectable pace, and all is well!

  • @stevehillbilly5797
    @stevehillbilly5797 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Cuts power but you still need to have balance control, once again another skill many may have lost hence the need for a mobility scooter. The main Japanese manufacturers in the 80’s we’re all forbidden to continue making trikes (ATC) yet here we are ...

    • @environmentalcanadian2338
      @environmentalcanadian2338 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Perhaps you should give more credit to the decision making capabilities of the people who need electric mobility vehicles. Those interested people can go to Jolene's store and see the trike. After seeing it in person, they can then test ride the trike. They still have the option of getting a four wheel mobility scooter if that's what they want. I think it's another great option being provided by Ride The Wind. Peace, Calvin.

    • @ridethewind
      @ridethewind  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@environmentalcanadian2338 Thanks Calvin, I agree. A mobility scooter doesn't automatically mean someone is disabled. I ride the freedom around with my kids all the time. People choose them for all kinds of reasons.

    Once someone gets hurt on this, there’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.
    Be better with 4 wheels with AWD & have a rack on the front too. Yes 3 wheels are cheaper but you can’t straddle obstacles like you can with 4 wheels.
    I wouldn’t call this a mobility scooter, it’s an electric 3 Wheeler. I have a disability & there’s no way I can get up on it.

    Save your money. Biggest POS I've ever bought. Believe me when I tell you to get something else. I bought mine 1 year ago and have spent close to 2k keeping it running and it still isn't right. I have had to replace the batteries twice. First time after 3-4 months and second time about 6 months later. Warranty didn't apply. Keep in mind I'm handicapped and don't drive fast or reckless. I really wish these were decent but hey are not. Search the web and do your homework. You can send me a hank you note later.
