I am the proud owner of a 4zs truly amazing piece of kit , I use it every day around Norwich and off road along The Norfolk Broads it really is a go anywhere scooter , as far as battery power I have the maximum amount of iron lithium batteries cant quote exact figures but for my use I only charge mine twice a week but I do have some mobility , I have had one or two issues but I have to say the team at Terrainhopper are at the end of the phone and always go out of there way to give you great support , I took mine back to Terrainhopper for its yearly service at the beginning of November and got the chance to meet Sam Debbie and all the other members of the team plus a guided tour and also was taken out for some off road tip which was really helpful , so anyone out there thinking about a Terrainhopper they do what they say on the box ...
Wow... its so nice... put 4 point seatbelt to it and a roll bar above the head to increase security. Its also great if you can add some kind of door to make easier to entry or exit the vehicle.
You can customize the TerrainHopper to have a 4 or 5 point harness....as well as a rollbar. There is no need for a door since the bars unlatch and are raised upward, allowing any user to get in the device from either side.
My twin brother and I have heard everything from becoming FREE to getting around and climbing small hills. One huge thing of ours is going fishing 🎣 and eating fresh the same day fish 🐟... but we don't qualify...
I can attest to how useful a 4zs is at getting out there again. I used mine in the Cairngorms in March and November. The batteries don’t like the cold weather, but -6c is uniformly unpopular there.
How can I purchase this All Terrain Hopper from Nigeria in West Africa and much would it cost me ? This is my mail in you wish to reply me. lawumr514@gmail.com . Thanks
There are two bars as you can see on both sides. You can use either side to get in by releasing a small latch on the front of the bar. The bar raises upward so the user can get in. The seat itself rotates toward the user so its easier to transfer from a regular wheelchair to the TerrainHopper.
Powerchairs have advanced amazingly over the years, going from street versions to off-road ones, But l got a challenge for it... at the moment l have an X8 4x4 chair and not only do l use it to explore and keep an eye on my property, but l also do yardwork with it mostly cutting grass, and all depending on the terrain l'm on, it'll give me about a good hour and a half on flat ground, but if l'm anywhere with an incline barely an hour, these are a good if you want to go hiking or somewhere else off-road, but to truly give a person with a disability.. well one like me anyway, There's a few things l've came across that are a problem. Batteries just don't cut it, Shocks seem like there just as a novelty, since any powerchair l've had are really not that smooth... and especially when it comes to certain tires, and the price of these are always a killer... Really Awesome Job on building something from scratch with their own spin on it
Compared to the X8 4x4 and others, the TerrainHopper has longer battery life with Lithium Ion Battery Packs up to a range of 24 Miles. The X8 is not waterproof like the TerrainHopper. The TerrainHopper is made to go in water, rivers, streams, etc. The X8 only has front suspension where the TerrainHopper has 4 Wheel Independent Suspension. Due to this Suspension, its a smooth ride over any rocks, or other difficult terrain. The TerrainHopper has 4 powerful 750 watt motors....adjustable. The cost of a TerrainHopper starts at $18,000......the X8 ranges from $15,500 upwards. Quite similar in price. The one large difference is the TerrainHopper does not look like a wheelchair. Its a mobility device that was designed for accessibility, performance, toughness, etc. Visit www.terrainhopperusa.com for more Information.
So.. did you buy one then? LOL I believe they are a 'bit' pricey? I suppose that's relative though. What price do you put on complete freedom and independence, the ability to literally go wherever you like?

How much does it cost? Will I have to sell one of the kids to buy one of these?

Starts at around $18,000...
I was hoping to see how you transferred on and off of it especially with that big bar running horizontally
