      I think so, in all wheel drive it has no problem in soft dirt, mud and snow, It has good flotation and a lot of power when in - off road mode/all wheel drive.

    Lithium batteries , it’s worth it , save on money heck no man spend the extra 1000 and go Lithium I bought two trikes one Led Acid and one Lithium , the Lithium was 1000 dollars more but it is worth every cent , both trikes are charging now in the garage that are totally awesome, I hope you got you’re bike worked out and working I really was lucky with mine never had any issues yet , but a real joy to ride have fun all the best trucker Kelly :)

      Southern Alberta, DayMak is a Canadian company, if you are close to the Saskatchewan Border you might be able to find a dealer up there.
      The DayMak website should have a list of dealers in Canada and USA, but I haven't seen one in Montana or North Dakota. The closest dealer to me is Calgary 4 hours away.

    • @Wheelchair-bear
      @Wheelchair-bear  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Claimed distance is 100 km / 60 MI with lithium batteries, 60 km with led-acid. Mine was closer to 30 km, but I am heavy on the throttle and in, all-wheel-drive, a lot.
      With 3 year old batteries it's under 10 km, I need new batteries, they are hard to find.

    I just watched my buddy hit a 24" deep pot hole in the grass which launched him and the boomerbeast a few feet in the air. He stuck the landing after smashing both knees into the triple tree. He took a pretty good beating but unbelievably the BEAST was 100% Fine. I was following on a golf cart and thought that something had to be broken. I checked it over from wheel to wheel and there was absolutely no damage what so ever. What a well built machine!!!

    • @Wheelchair-bear
      @Wheelchair-bear  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a blast, it has a two year warranty on the motors and only six month on the rest, I couldn't get any financing through the dealership, the price is around $5,000 Canadian funds; mine broke something in the differential and because the parts are coming from China it is taking forever to get a replacement. The dealer told me they were going to replace the whole scooter but right now they are back-ordered.

    It looks like you rotated the foot pegs 90 degrees and drilled new holes for the bolts so that they would fold down instead of back. Do I have that right?

    • @Wheelchair-bear
      @Wheelchair-bear  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, sorry for not replying earlier, had a bad day yesterday, (you know how it is, I'm sure). I didn't make new holes, I just use one original threaded hole and put some washers in for spacers to keep the pegs vertical. Each peg only uses one hole but it is still plenty strong. I used fiberglass for the running boards and U-bolts to hold them to the pegs, flat aluminum checkered plating would work as well. The reason I want the running boards to fold up, is because it helps to be as close to the seat as possible when transferring.

    do you have to pay Motley Crue a royalty for using their song?????

    • @Wheelchair-bear
      @Wheelchair-bear  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes any of the AdSense money goes to Motley Crue, if your channel is monetized when they put in ads and you use copyright material any of the money you generate from the ads goes to the owner of that content. Most of my videos don't get that many views so it's not an issue, yet.

    Is this scooters battery good? Can it carry a passenger? And he also said this is capable of 55 kmh which is converted to 35 mph.. On the brochure it says it's top speed is 16 mph?

    Hi Craig, How good is the suspension? Does it smooth out a bump surface fairly well or is the suspension pretty stiff?

    • @Wheelchair-bear
      @Wheelchair-bear  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not as good as an ATV, better than any other scooter or electric chair.

    • @Wheelchair-bear
      @Wheelchair-bear  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I live on a farm and use it mostly off road. The front suspension is excellent, the back could be a little smoother but not bad. If you put low psi in the rear tires (7- 8 pounds) it makes a big difference.

    Craig, I just noticed on second viewing that you are in wheelchair. Are you able to stand? I am a paraplegic and I am quite concerned about the seat height. The specs say 32 inches which is too high for me to transfer in without assistance.

    • @Wheelchair-bear
      @Wheelchair-bear  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I am a t-12 paraplegic can not stand. The seat does not swivel and took a little bit getting used to transfering that high, I have no problem now.
      I thought of making a platform that would flip over from the rack, that would only make it about a 2in lift from my chair height and then another short lift to the scooter chair. It is higher to transfer to this scooter than my old scooter but a lot easier than transferring to my ATV

    • @1952Tango
      @1952Tango 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Wheelchair-bear Thanks, Craig. I have a three wheel scooter that is obviously by the same manufacturer as the Boomer Beast and the seat sucks (I have the same level of injury as you). I found that the seat sloped slightly forward which left my knees flopping around. I blocked up the front by about an inch which improved it considerably. How have you found your seat? I notice that you have added an extra cushion of some kind. I live in Calgary but I have a young German Shepherd. In the winter, I am restricted to walking her on a limited amount of sidewalk that has been cleared. I am very interested in the Boomer Beast because I think it would allow me to go almost anywhere in the neighbourhood even in the snow.

    • @Wheelchair-bear
      @Wheelchair-bear  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@1952Tango The seat is one of the things I dislike, I have the same problem as you, my knees go in and all over. The extra gell cushion helps but makes for a higher transfer. Also I had to make running boards as it only comes with pegs, the charger is slow with the led-acid batteries. Everything else is great and a lot of fun, it will go anywhere I want , is very stable and really climbs well (in all wheel drive). I have taken it on some hiking/ATV trails, it had no problem. My Yellow Lab loves it; when I say - " scooter run ", he gets very excited. The headlight is excellent as well.
      It just started to make a bad noise coming from the axil or a wheel bearing, it should be covered by warranty but still socks. I am happy I got it and hope to get it fixed soon.

      @@Wheelchair-bear I use a Dewalt shoulder strap to wrap around my legs and hold them together when I drive. I don’t know if that would help you, but it’s immensely helpful for me. Any strap you can adjust might work.

    How to load in car? The scooter is heavy. If this mobility scooters for seniors it has to be smaller and lighter.

    • @Wheelchair-bear
      @Wheelchair-bear  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It cannot be loaded into a car, I can load mine into a Dodge Grand caravan with help. It is really meant for the disabled person who wants to go off-roading. The target customer is definitely not a senior citizen who wants to use it in the mall or seniors Lodge. It is intended for outdoor use and will not fit through most man doors.
