Great flick. They would never make a film like this today. So many classic lines. Funny and mysterious with that feeling of nostalgia too...hanging out on my suburban street on lazy summer days..watching the neighbors.
My sister and I quote this to each other when we see something unexpected or unusual. "I've never seen that, I've never seen ... " This film is our family classic. This and Yellowbeard, both very quotable funny films from the 80's. Probably seen them both at least 50 times each.
one of the best scenes in film ever! Being a bit of a movie buff, this is still one of my favorite movies ever made! "Sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion".
"I've never seen that. I've never seen anybody drive their garbage down to the street and then bang the hell out of it with a stick. I've never seen that..."
all of my Burbs clips originally started out as audio files. that's why they're all so short. I only did this whole scene as a request. if I ever put the program I used to do that here on my new computer i'll add that bit in for ya!! : )
This is still the best movie ever

RIP Carrie Fisher you played the perfect wife in this flick loved star wars and drop dead fred
Jeff Dougherty don’t forget her mother Debbie Reynolds.
Jeff Dougherty I like her role as Princess Leia but her role in this film can she just shut up and mind her business as a nagging wife.
RIP Rick aka Art. You were a good neighbour
The best neighbor ever.
Tom Hanks is perfect as the average neighbourhood guy who just wants a quiet life but is surrounded by lunatics.
The best lol.

This movie makes me want to hang outside in my neighborhood at night
If we didn't get the movie Rear Window we wouldn't get movies like this
"I've never seen that. I've never seen anybody drive their garbage down to the street and then bang the hell out of it with a stick. I've never seen that..."
Ray knew something was up with the neighbors the whole time, bit played his cards close to his chest until the end of the movie.
"Rain delay, bummer."
Ahh, I always thought he said "Rained away".
Isn’t this going to far, infrared night vision, what’s next, tap their phone line? Then what burn a cross on their front lawn?
Underrated joke in this movie
*Rained away... bummer* is what I always say when it starts raining lol
Oi same haha
That beginning of the music when the garage door opens. Sounds like Kanes theme music
This was the first time I ever saw night vision tech in a movie.
