    5:06 You did a great job detoxing your stovetop oven, but your gas burners can use some work to remove those stubborn baked-on stains, especially inside the crevises. You can thoroughly exfoliate each burner with a toothbrush and scrubbing paste to remove trapped food debris and later soak them overnight with bleach for a cleaner and newer look.

    I cannot believe how well this worked and how easy it was to do. I tried dozens of other methods and thought that there was no way to clean this hardened gunk off my stove top. I wish I found this video months ago. It was as simple as a little patience and a razor blade.

If you have grease, either use dish cloths or paper towels, dip them in your hot water/ dish liquid mix and lay the towels over the grease spots to soak then wipe. The eraser will take away the extra grease spots so easy!! I don't like using harsh chemicals bc it can remove the protective coating and a razor... I'd be to afraid to scratch it up!! The razor blade...that was the missing piece for me. I tried everything to get that baked on crud. We try to keep up with keeping it clean, but over the last few years, too many boil-overs by idiot teenagers (or the distracted adult) and it was pretty noticeable. It was a brand new and expensive stove and I wanted to keep it that way. Stove covers pretty much sucked (or at least I have yet to find a good one) so we just had to be careful. The razor blade just made it so easy, I can't believe I never thought of it. I once took a buffer and a mild car abrasive to it and all it managed to do is give the baked on crud a nice shine. LOL.

    I accidentally used easy off in a self cleaning oven and I can’t get rid of the residue,
    Any suggestions on what I can use? Thanks

      Not sure what you mean exactly. But I always wipe the oven out with a cloth and Dawn dish soap after I use Easy Off.

    I like the razor blade idea, but my top surface is stainless steel. worried I may scratch it with the blade :(

    • @CleanWithConfidence
      @CleanWithConfidence  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you couldn’t use it on stainless steel top. It’s not the scratches I’m worried about, stainless steel is just too grainy.

    OK Buddy!!! Going to try your method. I'll swing back and let you know how it worked for me! I'll make the trip to the home center and get fresh blades rather than using my trusty belt sander I bought for my ex wife, LOL.

    I thought Krud Kutter had to be diluted with water? Is it safe to use without diluting?

    • @CleanWithConfidence
      @CleanWithConfidence  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely! I use it undiluted most of the time. I buy the concentrate, pour it into a bottle and go to work!!

    Holy crap! That was amazing! Is Krud Kutter an enzyme cleaner? The only thing I’ve ever seen work even remotely close to that level is BioKleen. I love it (I even spray my gunky dishes that have been sitting in the sink for too long) but it’s expensive.

    • @CleanWithConfidence
      @CleanWithConfidence  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No ma'am it's just a cleaner/degreaser. Never tried the BioKleen!

      Clean With Confidence it’s like Nature’s Miracle except for all purpose cleaning and not dogs & cats messes. It eats away at the gunk you spray it on. And it gets rid of the funky bathroom smell, if you don’t want to clean with strong chemicals.

    Ammonia works better when you just cover it with plastic wrap for a few hours. I’d open the windows or leave the house for a few hours.

    Looks clean but I can’t stand how is not shiny anymore in some area looks like burnt caked on food penetrated the frame and looks discolored, old, unwaxed…. New appliances are built to NOT last compare to the old ones from here in the U.S.A…
